A voice suddenly shouted, "There's a fight!"
Instantly, the music in the entire hall stopped, and the colorful lights turned off, illuminating the room with bright fluorescent lights. The once dimly lit hall was now brightly lit, and Fei Hu felt as if the three of them had become the center of attention on a stage, with countless eyes watching them.
"Hahaha! What skill! You can kick such a strong guy away with just one kick. It seems this beautiful lady is a hidden master," said a young man in a white suit with a black trench coat as he walked down the stairs. He was over six feet tall, slightly thin, with short hair slicked back. The most distinctive feature was that he had a cigarette holder in his mouth, and the cigarette glowed brightly as he took a puff. Behind him followed five or six lackeys, all looking sharp and capable.
The man in the trench coat stopped at the entrance of the booth where Fei Hu and her friends were sitting. Under the lights, Fei Hu could see that he appeared to be over thirty years old. The one who had tried to stop him hurriedly stepped back and said softly, "Steel Brother, it's my fault for not handling things well; I need you to step in personally."
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu realized that this man was Steel Brother. He had quite an imposing presence; his attire and demeanor were almost on par with that of a gang leader. Yingzi pulled Ye Xiaofei closer to Fei Hu and whispered, "What should we do? It looks like we can't avoid a fight tonight. But there are so many of them here, and many are lurking in the shadows while we are out in the open. We might end up at a disadvantage."
Fei Hu nodded lightly and said, "Capture the leader first; don't give them any opportunity."
"Beautiful ladies, I'm here to personally invite you both to have a word with me. It's not good for everyone to be watching like this; it makes it seem like I'm Steel Brother who specifically seeks trouble," Steel Brother said as he moved closer to Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei with a lewd grin that looked extremely unpleasant.
Ye Xiaofei pushed forward in front of Yingzi, raised her hand, and said rudely, "Take your people and get lost; don't embarrass yourself here. If you really want to stir up some trouble, choose a place, and we'll gladly accompany you."
"Haha! What personality! I like it. However, I call the shots here; don’t think you can leave so easily," Steel Brother replied as he suddenly swung his body, tossing his trench coat back to be caught by one of his lackeys.
Seeing this, Fei Hu knew she couldn't hold back any longer; otherwise, she would look foolish. She stepped forward decisively and coldly said, "Don't go too far. We're just here to have fun and won't be controlled by anyone. If you want to bully someone, make sure your eyes are wide open; otherwise, you'll regret it later when it's too late."
Steel Brother sized up Fei Hu from head to toe before taking the cigarette holder out of his mouth and putting it away in his pocket. With an arrogant tone, he said, "Is that so? Then let’s see who calls the shots tonight." As he spoke, his hand shot out like lightning towards Ye Xiaofei's wrist in an attempt at a sneak attack. However, he underestimated Fei Hu's purpose for standing so close to Ye Xiaofei—she was there to protect her.
At the same speed, before anyone could see clearly, Steel Brother's hand was already suspended in mid-air. His wrist was caught by Fei Hu, and the situation on the scene suddenly changed. Steel Brother only thought that Yingzi was extraordinary and completely underestimated Fei Hu, not expecting this seemingly unremarkable person to possess such remarkable skills.
Steel Brother slightly crouched down and exerted force with his arm, trying to break free from Fei Hu's grip. However, Fei Hu's hand was like a vice; no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't move an inch. In a moment of panic, Steel Brother turned sharply, hiding his hand behind his back while quickly reaching for Fei Hu's neck with his other hand. This move was not only ruthless but also incredibly fast. If Fei Hu were caught by the neck, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Seeing the situation becoming critical, Fei Hu decided to go with the flow and loosened his grip, leaning back. This way, even if Steel Brother had long arms, he wouldn't be able to reach his neck. In the blink of an eye, Fei Hu suddenly kicked out with his other leg. The kick landed squarely on Steel Brother's stomach with such force that it sent him stumbling back three or four steps. With a loud thud, he crashed into the railing of the private room and fell backward over it. Another loud thud followed as he hit the ground hard.
This caused quite a commotion; the entire disco erupted into chaos. Within moments, three or four dozen young people armed with various items surrounded them. Yingzi quickly pulled Ye Xiaofei behind her, readying herself for a fight.
"Stop! Let me see who has the audacity to come here and cause trouble," came a voice as a yellow-haired, sneaky-looking guy rushed down the stairs.
As he got closer, not only was Fei Hu startled, but even Ye Xiaofei and Yingzi widened their eyes in fear. The newcomer was none other than Ye Wu's lackey, Little Four.
Steel Brother finally got up from the ground, clutching his stomach and shouting loudly, "Fourth Brother, these three are here to cause trouble! You have to help me take revenge!" Steel Brother said this while grimacing in pain.
Little Four shot a fierce glare at Steel Brother, feeling extremely angry inside. He had come to check on the newly opened disco as part of his routine; Ye Wu was responsible for security here. His presence was akin to a superior inspecting a subordinate. Therefore, Steel Brother treated him with great respect and even called several beauties to accompany him while boasting about bringing him two more beauties from the disco. Initially pleased, Little Four did not expect this clueless guy to create such a huge mess. Not only was it embarrassing, but could Ye Cheng let him off easily?
Seeing Little Four silent while looking at them with an unpleasant expression made Steel Brother unable to hold back any longer. He shouted loudly, "Everyone get in there and beat those ungrateful fools!"
Little Four waved his hand and reprimanded loudly, "Get back to what you were doing! If anyone disobeys me, I will make sure you regret it!" He shot a fierce glare at the somewhat disheveled Steel Brother.
Confused by what was happening, Steel Brother leaned closer to Little Four and whispered defiantly, "Fourth Brother, what's wrong? Are you afraid of them?"
"Idiot! You're blind! I'm afraid? Are you not afraid? Do you know who that long-haired girl is? She's Ye Cheng's precious granddaughter!" Little Four said helplessly while shaking his head.
Steel Brother was taken aback upon hearing this. He knew that their Boss Ye Wu and Ye Cheng had always been at odds, but that was their personal matter. Moreover, Ye Cheng was still the leader of the Dragon Tiger Gang. However, he was also a member of the Dragon Tiger Gang, and he understood the rules. He never expected to have stirred up a hornet's nest this time.
Yingzi gave Ye Xiaofei a glance, and Ye Xiaofei immediately understood. She shouted loudly, "Little Four, did my Third Uncle tell you to do this? If so, I will call him right away and demand an explanation!"
Upon hearing this, Little Four's expression changed slightly. He hurriedly lowered his head and said softly, "Miss, you misunderstood. This has nothing to do with Brother Tiger. It's just these idiots who startled you. I will personally come to apologize another day. For tonight, just remember this incident."
Little Four spoke sincerely, not sounding like he was making excuses.
The young men dancing in the hall had initially wanted to watch a show but were disappointed when the performance ended before it even began. Many of them started whistling in disappointment. Little Four's face turned a bit ugly as he shouted, "Music!"
The dim lights and booming music covered up all the awkwardness and unpleasantness. Yingzi and Ye Xiaofei held hands, walking at the front, with Fei Hu following behind them as the three strolled toward the exit of the disco.
Suddenly, Little Four stepped forward and gave Fei Hu a thumbs-up. He shouted loudly, "You’re not bad! Exceptional skills and such beautiful ladies accompanying you—you're really living the life!"
Fei Hu was startled; he thought this guy recognized him. Fortunately, it seemed he was just flattering him. Fei Hu quickly replied, "You got it wrong; it's not them accompanying me, but me accompanying them." As soon as Fei Hu finished speaking, Little Four burst into exaggerated laughter. Fei Hu felt there was something strange about that laughter.
Once they got into the car, Ye Xiaofei looked unhappy. She angrily said, "Why does this fly show up everywhere? What should have been a very pleasant event turned into this mess, almost leading to a Major Incident. It seems this place really isn’t suitable for us."
Yingzi smiled but remained silent. Fei Hu also kept quiet as he wondered whether Little Four had truly recognized him.
