When Fei Hu and Xia Yan came out of the bathroom after their shower, the drunken women had all woken up. They were sitting in the living room, each wearing a mischievous smile. One of the younger girls ran over to Fei Hu and giggled, "Big Brother, you’re really something! Xia Yan's screams woke us all up!" After saying this, she burst into laughter.
Fei Hu felt a bit embarrassed, but Xia Yan acted as if nothing was wrong. She walked over to the young girl and said, "Stop pretending. Your screams once startled the old lady next door; she thought something was wrong with you, not knowing you were just too comfortable." As soon as Xia Yan finished speaking, everyone in the room erupted in laughter. The little girl then shyly moved aside, revealing that each of these women had some dirt on one another.
After taking a shower, although they had talked quite a bit, Fei Hu still felt a bit dizzy. Noticing his anxious expression, Xia Yan said, "Don't worry. Wait a moment; I'll take you back. What's up with Aju? Everyone else is awake, but she's still asleep. She can't be that drunk!" As she spoke, she pushed open the bedroom door.
Fei Hu's heart began to race. If Aju woke up and found her clothes missing, would she scream? If that happened, he would be the only man in the room and couldn't hide anywhere. So he shouted to Xia Yan, "No way! I don't have time for this; I’ll just take it slow myself!" After saying that, he greeted everyone and turned to leave.
Xia Yan quickly followed him out. She pulled at Fei Hu and whispered, "You sly guy! You definitely did something with Aju last night. But it's fine; this woman is quite bold. The moment you arrived last night, I could tell she was interested in you. It was all consensual; it wasn't forced. Look at how scared you are!"
Hearing this, Fei Hu hurriedly defended himself, "What are you talking about? You're making me sound like a big pervert! She was just being flirtatious." He chuckled and recounted what had happened the previous night to Xia Yan. He felt there was no need to hide anything from her since they were good friends; it was better to clear things up.
When Xia Yan heard this, she laughed heartily. "Aju really knows how to put on an act! She clearly climbed into your bed but ended up playing hard to get. It's hilarious! It seems she let such a wonderful opportunity slip right through her fingers."
As they joked around, they walked towards where Fei Hu had parked his car. Fei Hu realized he had encountered a group of rather unique women in modern society who lived for their own happiness without caring about others' opinions of them. For instance, Sun Li was a staunch individualist while Xia Yan sought immediate pleasure without adhering to any particular ideology; tomorrow seemed distant for them.
After dropping Fei Hu off outside the villa, Xia Yan got into a taxi and left. Fei Hu struggled for quite some time before finally parking his car at the villa. Just as he was about to enter the yard, Ye Xiaofei approached with a smile and called out from afar, "Young man! Something feels off here; is my car really that hard to drive? Why are you swerving like an S-shape? Is something wrong?"
Fei Hu scratched his head awkwardly and smiled sheepishly. Ye Xiaofei walked over to him and suddenly exclaimed, "You must be out of your mind! With that strong smell of alcohol on you, why are you even driving? Just stop! You could have taken a taxi back; you're such an idiot!" As she spoke, she exaggeratedly waved her hand near her nose.
At that moment, Ye Cheng and Sister Wu came out. Seeing Fei Hu looking listless, Ye Cheng chuckled and said, "If you've drunk too much, don’t drive; it’s dangerous. It’s still early; go take a nap for a bit. Let Sister Wu find you some hangover medicine; take it and sleep it off—everything will be fine."
Sister Wu nodded and waved at Fei Hu, saying, "Come with me from now on! You should try to drink less. First, it's bad for your health, and second, you guys drink and then insist on driving. That's the most unacceptable thing." As Sister Wu walked, she expressed her concern for Fei Hu, which made him feel very warm inside.
After taking a pill, Fei Hu returned to his room and fell asleep immediately. He slept so comfortably that he even had a dream where he was hugging Aju and playfully touching her, causing Aju to dodge left and right while laughing heartily.
Suddenly, Fei Hu felt a pain in his back, which woke him up. He realized he had just had a rather embarrassing dream. In his arms was a Cherub covered in drool. The most mortifying part was that when Fei Hu moved his eyes, he saw Ye Xiaofei standing behind him with a smile.
Fei Hu hurriedly turned over and sat up, looking quite embarrassed. Ye Xiaofei chuckled softly, "A grown man still needs to hug a pillow while sleeping. Aren't you ashamed? Get up! If you keep sleeping, it'll be afternoon already. You're such a pig." After saying this, Ye Xiaofei turned and left, prompting Fei Hu to quickly follow her out.
In the living room, many people were already seated, most of whom were older individuals that Fei Hu had never seen before. They were happily chatting with Ye Cheng. Among them was Dongzi, whom Fei Hu recognized, but Dongzi might not recognize him since Fei Hu had always worn a mask when they met.
Ye Xiaofei led Fei Hu around serving tea and water to the guests, keeping busy. The sharp-eyed Dongzi suddenly asked Ye Xiaofei, "Miss, who is this Young Man? He looks very familiar, but I just can't remember where I've seen him."
Ye Xiaofei smiled and replied, "He's our company's security guard. He's quick and diligent. Since Sister Wu gave the three maids time off, I brought him over to help at the villa."
Dongzi chuckled but remained silent. He thought to himself that this guy had just come out of the bedroom after sleeping. Generally speaking, how could someone sleep in the villa at this hour? There must be something going on here. Even if you don't say anything, you can't fool me. With that thought in mind, Dongzi quietly approached to see what this so-called security guard was really about.
Today, Ye Xiaofei was in a great mood. She set aside her usual high-maintenance demeanor and ran around with Fei Hu. Everyone cooperated very well, and Ye Cheng watched with delight.
Just then, someone shouted from the entrance, "Third Young Master has arrived!"
Fei Hu thought to himself that it was unnecessary to make such a fuss about it as if it were a scene from a movie. While he was busy working, he suddenly stopped and looked toward the door to see Ye Wu Yi dressed in traditional attire looking particularly relaxed. Behind him followed Yellow-Haired Xiao Si, who was carrying a large bag that seemed to contain gifts. It seemed like he was the one who shouted that announcement; the more Fei Hu looked at this guy, the more he felt like he resembled a servant.
Ye Xiaofei beside Fei Hu froze for a moment before saying, "Why is he here? I'll go chase him away so he doesn't ruin Grandpa's good mood."
"Don't rush, let's see what he wants to do. It's better not to provoke someone without reason, especially today being the first day of the New Year. I doubt he'll do anything too extreme; after all, everyone has their pride!" Fei Hu reached out to stop Ye Xiaofei.
The once lively hall suddenly felt a bit cold due to Ye Wu's arrival. Feiya quickly took out a pack of cigarettes, approached him, pulled one out, and politely said, "Mr. Ye, please have a cigarette and take a seat here."
Finally having someone to greet him, Ye Wu smiled at Fei Hu and squeezed into a seat close to Ye Cheng. The people next to him had no choice but to make way; after all, he was the third young master of the Ye Family.
"Little Four, bring Dad the gift," Ye Wu Yi waved his hand. Little Four hurried over, opened the box, placed it on his head, and knelt on one knee. This kid had quite a clever approach.
Everyone stretched their necks to look into the box and indeed found something impressive. The third young master was generous; it seemed to be blue-and-white porcelain. Those who recognized its value secretly praised it.
Ye Cheng glanced at it without showing any emotion. Ye Wu then smiled and said, "Dad, this is something I got from a friend who brought it back from Hong Kong. I spent quite a bit of money on it as a token of respect for you. I hope you like it."
Ye Cheng remained silent, and everyone in the living room dared not speak. The atmosphere was tense; Ye Cheng's words would determine how they would spend this New Year's Day—whether in peace or conflict. Just then, Sister Wu walked over, took the box from Little Four's hands, and smiled at Ye Wu saying, "Third Young Master, you are too generous."
"Not at all, it's just a token of respect for Dad; no need to mention value," Ye Wu insisted politely today and showed good manners, which puzzled everyone present.
Fei Hu felt anxious; during this festive season, they must avoid conflict at all costs, or everyone would end up having a hard time.
