The prison guard shouted, "Come on, you two must have eaten too much. Have you not been working these past few days and feel uncomfortable in your stomach? Wait a moment, and I will let you digest properly."
Fei Hu, shirtless, was taken to the guard's office along with Li Si Niu. As soon as they entered, the guard closed the door. The room was warm with a coal fire burning. The tall prison guard quickly took out a shirt from the cabinet and said to Fei Hu, "Put this on! Are you injured?"
Fei Hu shook his head and hurriedly grabbed the shirt to put it on. He wondered why the guards had such a drastic change in attitude towards him. Did both of them know about his identity?
"You really should have shouted if you noticed something was wrong! If something happens, we all get punished," said the short prison guard, giving Li Si Niu a push on the shoulder.
Li Si Niu smiled and replied, "That won't happen. He has double insurance. I was just looking forward to some excitement when you two showed up." Saying this, Li Si Niu picked up a teacup from the guard's desk and took a sip.
Fei Hu was confused by this exchange. At that moment, the tall prison guard poured a cup of water for Fei Hu and said with a smile, "It seems you're still in the dark. This Li Si Niu is one of us. Of course, his name is also an alias, meant to assist you in completing this mission. His task is to protect you secretly, so you don't need to be wary of him anymore."
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu finally understood. No wonder this guy seemed to know what was going on beforehand. This act needs to continue until the mission is complete; just stick with him and stop dreaming," said the guard as he took out two pairs of gloves from the cabinet and handed one pair each to Fei Hu and Li Si Niu.
As they stepped out of the guard's office, it felt as if they were not wearing any clothes at all. Who said the weather in the south wasn't cold? Fei Hu cursed under his breath while sweeping aimlessly with a broom. Li Si Niu caught up with him and whispered, "Brother, sweeping means picking up trash; if there's no trash around, just save your energy! Otherwise, people might think you've lost your mind."
Fei Hu laughed and said, "I'm just warming up; otherwise, it'll be too cold." Upon hearing this, Li Si Niu chuckled as well.
It seemed that the guards only wanted them to put on a show. Although the yard was large and discipline was strict usually—who would dare litter?—there wasn't much trash anyway. Soon enough, they finished sweeping the yard. To avoid drawing attention, Fei Hu and Li Si Niu dragged their brooms back to where they had swept snow a few days ago and randomly swept along a path before sitting down together.
"Any new discoveries? You've been spreading the word for quite some time now; I think he should be moving soon," Li Si Niu said while gazing at the horizon with an air of confidence.
Fei Hu sighed and said, "There are no new discoveries. This Chen Yibiao, a couple of days ago when he listened to my story, reacted quite intensely, but he has nothing to do with the person I'm looking for. It seems this matter is really not simple. I thought I could get out in a week or two, but it looks like it might take a month to complete this task," Fei Hu said with great helplessness.

"Hahaha, boss, sorry for making you suffer! Just wait here; I'll come to clean up," Chen Yibiao laughed heartily as he approached.
Fei Hu remained seated without moving, only raising his eyelids slightly and unhappily said, "Don't pretend to be a good person here. Where did you disappear this afternoon? I almost got beaten to death! Are you here to watch the show?"

Fei Hu's heart trembled; this person did resemble him somewhat—his skin was dark, and he had a pair of fierce green bean-like eyes that couldn't hide their ferocity when looking at others. However, his body didn't match what Bai Jing had described; he was slightly plump while Blackie was indeed thin. But they had been here for over a year; it was possible for someone to gain or lose weight. Fei Hu thought about this and felt a surge of excitement.
Seeing that Fei Hu remained silent, Brother Bai whispered again, "If it's inconvenient for you to answer, it's fine not to say anything."
Fei Hu finally came back to his senses; he had gotten a bit too carried away with his earlier joy. He quickly replied, "There's nothing inconvenient about it. As long as it's something I know, I'll tell you everything."
"Brother, do you know a woman named Bai Jing?" Brother Bai's eyes were fixed on Fei Hu's face, as if afraid he might lie.

"All family?" Fei Hu asked in confusion.
