Inside the car, Fei Hu was rambling about his love for freedom and how powerful the Dragon Tiger Gang was. Yingzi, sitting next to him, smiled silently as she focused on driving. Fei Hu's performance that night was nothing short of perfect, giving her a new perspective on this man.
After dragging Fei Hu to his bed, Yingzi sat on the thin mattress he had laid out, watching him sleep soundly. This strong woman felt an indescribable pang in her heart.
The next day at work, Fei Hu still felt a bit dizzy. He noticed that Ye Xiaofei hadn’t come in yet, which suggested she had indeed drunk too much the night before. Fei Hu couldn’t understand why this woman always seemed to oppose him, whether it was good or bad; she would always show up. Even if the incident in the elevator was something he had done wrong, she should have gotten her revenge by now. It couldn’t go on like this forever!
Just as Fei Hu was pondering this, the phone on his desk rang. When he picked it up, it was Team Leader Wang from the security office, saying that two beautiful women were looking for him. Fei Hu thought to himself that old Wang was being foolish; he wouldn’t lie about something like that. In City A, he hardly knew any men, let alone beautiful women.
When he opened the door to the security office, he pointed at Team Leader Wang and laughed, “Old Wang, you’ve learned to lie now? Where are these beauties?”
Old Wang chuckled and replied, “Can’t you see for yourself where they are?”
It was then that Fei Hu noticed two stylishly dressed women sitting on a bench in the Guard Room. They wore matching floral knit hats, long-sleeved tops, and tight black leggings. He felt they looked familiar but couldn’t quite place them. Embarrassed, he scratched his head and asked softly, “Who are you?”
“What kind of person are you? You don’t recognize us after just a moment?” said Sister Lian, the shorter one, standing up and glaring at Fei Hu.
Upon hearing this, Fei Hu suddenly realized and quickly said, “Oh! Isn’t this Sister Lian and Xiao Qi? Dressed so beautifully that I really didn’t recognize you! I’m sorry; it’s all my fault for not being observant.”
Seeing this, Team Leader Wang lowered his voice and said to Fei Hu, “You better confess honestly; this girl says you don’t recognize anyone once your pants are down. What’s going on?” He laughed heartily as he walked outside; at least Team Leader Wang had some sense.
Xiao Qi shot a glare at Fei Hu and said, “The security guards are no good; they’re all big perverts.”
Sister Lian pulled Xiao Qi back and scolded her softly, “Don’t talk nonsense; be careful I’ll beat you when we get back.”
“I didn’t say anything wrong! Just now I said one turn around and that old security guard said it’s when your pants are down. How can you say they’re not big perverts?” Xiao Qi stood her ground without hesitation, making both Fei Hu and Sister Lian laugh. She was such a straightforward girl that Fei Hu found her adorable.
After they finished laughing, Fei Hu asked, “What brings you here all of a sudden?”
“We were just wandering around here and happened to pass by your place, so we thought we’d come in and see you,” Sister Lian replied with a smile.
Fei Hu smiled back but knew in his heart that Sister Lian and Xiao Qi weren’t just passing by; they had come specifically to see him to verify whether what he said last night was true or false.
Fei Hu glanced at his watch and smiled, saying, "It's almost noon. How about I treat you two to lunch? Guests are always welcome, and I should show my appreciation!"
"No need, I just asked your colleagues here, and they said you only have half an hour for lunch. We might not even make it to the place before you have to get back to work. Let's save it for another day! There will be plenty of opportunities," Sister Lian said as she stood up, preparing to leave.
Xiao Qi thought for a moment and said, "How about this? Let's have dinner together tonight. We have plenty of time, and we can wait for him. What do you think? It's been a long time since he last had a meal." Although Xiao Qi's last sentence was spoken softly, Fei Hu still heard it.
Sister Lian gave Xiao Qi a hard pinch on the backside, while Fei Hu pretended not to see. He quickly said, "Sure! Let's have dinner together tonight. I'll treat you. Just contact me by phone."
As soon as Fei Hu finished speaking, Xiao Qi pulled Sister Lian away. It seemed she was worried that Sister Lian wouldn't understand. Watching the two of them walk away, Fei Hu smiled; he realized he wasn't alone after all—there were plenty of people in the world who were struggling.
"Hey! I never would have guessed you had it in you. Two birds with one stone—both mature and young women are so beautiful. I'm really envious," Team Leader Wang suddenly appeared behind Fei Hu. This man was always infatuated with women, regardless of their age; some just hid it better than others.
"If you like them, I can sell you one," Fei Hu laughed as he walked into the lobby.
Team Leader Wang jokingly scolded, "You little rascal only thinks about money. Can't you just wholesale one for me?" The two laughed heartily.
As soon as Fei Hu entered the lobby, he saw Helena standing there with her hands behind her back. He hadn't seen her in days and felt she had lost some weight; her figure seemed much slimmer now. Although her knitted top was pushed up by her ample chest, it was clear that the waist area was loose.
"Where are you looking? Not very proper at all," Helena shot a glance at Fei Hu. However, he could tell she was in a good mood today; despite her words, she wore a smile on her face—this is what they call a woman shining for those who appreciate her.
Fei Hu scratched his head and smiled, "Miss He, you're getting more beautiful by the day. Have you been working out lately?"
"Enough with the flattery! What were you two laughing about earlier? Something about wholesale and retail? You both looked so happy; it must be something good. Share it with me so I can enjoy it too," Helena said as she walked over and leaned on the table next to Fei Hu, her chest almost bursting out of her top.
A sly grin crossed Fei Hu's face as he chuckled, "Do you really want to know? But if I tell you, don't blame me afterward."
"Just tell me! As if I'm someone who goes around cursing!" Helena's voice had a unique feminine charm that made Fei Hu's heart skip a beat; he really wanted to touch her well-endowed chest.
"You little tease! Are you trying to get my hopes up?" Helena playfully tapped Fei Hu's wide-brimmed hat, causing her chest to jiggle slightly. In his mind, Fei Hu thought that if she kept tapping him like that, he might just keep quiet and enjoy watching her.
Seeing that Fei Hu's eyes were glued to her body and ignoring what she said, Helena turned her back on him in frustration. With no other choice, Fei Hu quietly said, "The live stream has started; those who want to listen should lean in close—this information shouldn't reach a third party."
Helena turned around quickly and leaned in as Fei Hu whispered in her ear, "We suggested selling a woman to Old Wang, and he said I'm money-minded and wants to wholesale one."
"Cut it out," Helena laughed. "You security guys, the female employees in the company say you're all perverts. I didn't believe it until now; it turns out it's true. You're just a little pervert under an old pervert."
Fei Hu shrugged and said, "It's human nature."
"Alright! I'm canceling your lunch privileges today; you can go indulge in your desires!" Helena smiled at Fei Hu, looking exceptionally beautiful.
Fei Hu was getting tired of eating rice every day. Sitting alone in a corner, he found the food tasteless while others gathered in groups, laughing and turning their meals into a celebration. He had no interest in joining them; for some reason, he had been thinking about his future whenever he had free time, likely influenced by those around him.
"Why are you being so anti-social, sitting here daydreaming?" Helena said as she sat next to Fei Hu and casually placed two steamed buns into his lunchbox.
"Hey! I just went to get some, but the cafeteria staff said they were out. How come you got some?" Fei Hu looked puzzled.
Team Leader Wang suddenly appeared across from Fei Hu like a ghost. He grabbed a steamed bun and said, "Are you stupid? Miss He is their superior; what’s a bun to her? Would they dare not serve her?"
Fei Hu sighed helplessly; it seemed that having a higher rank really did have its advantages.
Helena shot Team Leader Wang a glance and said, "You’re from the south and like eating steamed buns? I don’t think so! Are you blushing because I gave one to Fei Hu?"
"No, I'm just supervising him to maintain his figure," Team Leader Wang replied as he put the bun back down, causing everyone to burst into laughter.
