Fei Hu loosened his grip and said fiercely, "Let them all disperse, or your life is forfeit. You're also working for someone else; think about whether it's worth it."
Little Four took a breath and shouted without thinking, "Disperse, everyone disperse!"
One of the yellow-haired men shouted, "No way, Fourth Brother, we can't go back like this."
"Your ancestors! My life is almost gone; what do you care about reporting back? Besides, did any of you see a woman among these people? Did anyone see?" Little Four cursed loudly, clearly showing he was no novice.
Seeing their leader so disheartened, the yellow-haired men felt no need to fight anymore. Some of them even closed their eyes and lied in unison, shouting, "We didn't see any woman."
"Great! Then hurry up and disperse!" Little Four urged anxiously as he noticed Fei Hu tightening his grip again.
They came quickly and left just as fast; in an instant, those people really vanished. It seemed that those who often mixed outside had grown tired of this kind of violent life.
Fei Hu signaled to Yingzi and pushed Little Four toward the alley exit. As they walked, Little Four murmured, "Big Brother, can I leave now? You guys are really..."
"Less chatter, just walk your path," Fei Hu shoved Little Four, thoroughly annoyed with him.
As they exited the alley, two large boxy vans approached. No one spoke as they each got into the vehicles. Yingzi tugged at Fei Hu, indicating he should get in too. Fei Hu understood that returning like this would be courting death.
He patted Little Four on the shoulder and said, "Keep moving forward; don’t look back. Otherwise, watch out for your eyes." Upon hearing this, Little Four immediately quickened his pace and left without looking back; it seemed Fei Hu's intimidation had truly frightened him.
Fei Hu followed Yingzi into the vehicle. Biaozi, sitting in the back seat, quietly asked, "Shall we go together?"
Yingzi replied softly, "Let the car circle around a couple of times; I have something to say." Just as she finished speaking, the vehicle started moving.
Thinking about the thrilling scene from earlier, Fei Hu felt exhilarated; it was like being in a movie. He had never experienced such a group fight before. Next to him, Yingzi glanced at the smiling Fei Hu, feeling genuine admiration for him. She couldn't help but nudge him with her elbow and gently asked, "How did you come up with taking Little Four hostage?"
"I learned it from TV! Just picked it up on the spot; didn’t you see that Korean drama at the convenience store?" Fei Hu replied casually, showing his quick wit.
In the back seat, Biaozi couldn't help but lean forward with a smile and said, "This friend has good skills and strategies; a rare talent. It's a pity he's not one of us."
Turning her head, Yingzi continued the conversation, "He’s indeed impressive, but how could you expose our identity by saying he’s from the Dragon Tiger Gang?"
Biaozi smiled and said softly, "Because we are not part of the Dragon Tiger Gang at all. Besides, we don't know each other, so confusing their vision should work."
Yingzi was stunned upon hearing this. Biaozi and the others were not from the Dragon Tiger Gang? Then how could they still listen to her? She wanted to ask but swallowed her words; this matter needed to be discussed with her grandfather later.
"Alright, stop the car up ahead; I need to go back," Fei Hu suddenly said to Yingzi.
Once the car stopped, Yingzi waved goodbye to Biaozi and got out with Fei Hu. The two walked aimlessly ahead, and Yingzi smiled, saying, "Thank you for tonight."
"No need to mention it; it was just a small effort," Fei Hu replied generously, but deep down he felt a bit scared. If they hadn't captured Little Four as a hostage and both groups had fought, the outcome would have been unimaginable with so many people involved.
"There aren't many people as generous and righteous as you. I feel like you've undergone some special training; not only are your skills top-notch, but your way of thinking is also unique. Can you tell me what exactly you do?" Yingzi asked sincerely, already guessing the answer.
Fei Hu glanced at Yingzi's handsome face and laughed heartily, "I'm a security guard! Didn't you see that?"
"That's annoying; I meant what you did before. Is it inconvenient to say?" Yingzi pretended to be angry and shot him a playful glare.
Just then, Yingzi's phone rang in her pocket. She answered immediately, saying, "Okay, Grandpa, I'll be back soon."
After hanging up, Yingzi wore a helpless expression and shrugged her shoulders at Fei Hu.
Fei Hu smiled and said, "It's fine; you can go! We can chat again another time."
Yingzi hailed a rental car and left. Fei Hu shook his head; he felt that people in this big city were too mysterious. Take Yingzi for example—during the day she was the chief consultant for Weisheng, yet she hardly came to work. After tonight's events, he found it even harder to understand her.
After a ten-minute ride, it took Fei Hu nearly forty minutes to reach home. Upon arriving at the alley entrance, he noticed something was wrong—a large number of police officers and many police cars made it look quite lively.
However, the police cars quickly drove away, allowing Fei Hu to cautiously enter the alley. He found many people standing in front of his door. Listening to their discussions, he learned that there had been a gang fight last night and someone had called the police, but when they arrived, no one was caught.
Fei Hu felt relieved; as long as nothing happened, he wouldn't be implicated.
The next day at work, as soon as he reached the entrance, he saw Team Leader Wang holding a newspaper and shouting at him: "Fei Hu! Where do you live? There was a gang fight last night with police surrounding the area. I heard it was quite lively; do you know anything about it?"
Fei Hu shook his head and said, "I don't know; I went to bed early last night."
"Ah! Young man only knows how to sleep. Look at today's headlines!" Team Leader Wang seemed particularly interested in the matter.
Fei Hu let out a cold laugh, remaining silent as he went to take over his shift. He thought to himself, how could I not know about this? It seems the reporter who wrote this piece has exaggerated the situation; there wasn't even a single hair of a person seen during the police siege.
Thus began the day. Just as Fei Hu finished handing over his shift to a colleague, he saw Vice President Wang Qian parking her car again at the entrance of the lobby. Fei Hu silently cursed, lazy woman, can't even walk two steps; do you want me to carry you upstairs? Just as he thought this, Wang Qian sauntered over with a sway in her hips. She was wearing a pink qipao with a high slit that revealed her beautiful legs, making Fei Hu's heart flutter.
"Hey! Go park my car properly, then come to my office; I need to talk to you about something," Wang Qian said with a bright smile, her voice sweet and captivating, making Fei Hu feel completely at ease.
In a flash, Fei Hu parked the car in its spot. He now knew that Wang Qian's parking space was 2, second only to the chairman's. He wondered what number the new Executive President would have if she had a car. Suddenly, he recalled Ye Xiaofei and that fragrant scene from the elevator that morning.
When Fei Hu arrived at Wang Qian's office, she was bent over watering some flowers. Upon seeing him, she gestured for him to close the door and said, "Please sit for a moment; I'll be right with you."
In the Vice President's Office, Fei Hu felt somewhat hesitant to sit down. Suddenly inspired, he stepped forward and said, "Vice President, let me water them for you!"
"No need for that; it's almost done," Wang Qian replied. As she straightened up, a wave of fragrance wafted over to Fei Hu, making his nose twitch; it smelled incredible.
Wang Qian set down the watering can and sat behind her desk with a smile. "Isn't it lovely? This is Paris perfume; it seems you have good taste."
Cut it out with your fancy talk; I have no idea about such things. Just get to the point—are you trying to seduce me? Fei Hu chuckled at himself for daydreaming about such fanciful ideas lately.
"I heard from your team leader that you've been doing well at work, especially since you managed to subdue that escaped convict last time?" Wang Qian asked with an expression that could intoxicate anyone. Fei Hu hadn't expected women could be so formidable.
He replied vaguely, "Yes, something like that." In truth, while saying this, Fei Hu's mind had already wandered off elsewhere.
