Old Huang initially thought that his presence would alleviate some of the burden on Bing Tianyi, but he soon realized that Earth Envoy's combat power only increased with the opponent's strength.
As he charged forward, Old Huang discovered just how wrong he was.
Faced with Earth Envoy's even more powerful assault, Bing Tianyi had blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, and his insides felt like they were in complete disarray, churning violently within him.
“Old Huang, this isn't good. This old guy seems to be on a power trip. At this rate, we're both going to be finished today,” Bing Tianyi said with a frown, his face filled with helplessness as he sighed to Old Huang.
Upon hearing this, Old Huang, standing about five meters away from Earth Envoy, whispered to Bing Tianyi: “Kid, you need to leave. I'll hold him off.”
“No way! If I leave, do you really think you can take him down with your strength? That's just nonsense!” Bing Tianyi replied with a bitter smile.
Old Huang chuckled lightly and looked at Bing Tianyi, saying directly: “Just hurry up and go. Trust me on this.”
“What do you mean trust? Stop talking nonsense and think of a way to defeat him,” Bing Tianyi insisted quietly.
At that moment, Earth Envoy sneered and clapped his hands, staring intently at Bing Tianyi and Old Huang. “I say, you two should stop rambling. Why so much chatter?”
“Old man, if you have the guts, let’s settle this one-on-one,” Old Huang stepped forward and shouted clearly at Earth Envoy.
Earth Envoy glanced at Old Huang, then at Bing Tianyi standing beside him, before asking in a low voice: “What did you say? One-on-one? You think your strength is enough to challenge me?”
Clearly, Earth Envoy dismissed Old Huang's provocation entirely.
Upon hearing this, Old Huang kept signaling to Bing Tianyi, hoping that after he made his move, Bing Tianyi could escape. However, Bing Tianyi understood that leaving now was impossible. After all, he and Old Huang had been together for three years. In that time, Old Huang had done countless things for him. In this situation, sacrificing Old Huang for his own life was something Bing Tianyi would never agree to.
Just then, outside the door, Mei Yuan shouted loudly again: “Godfather, what’s going on? If you don’t tell me the truth, I’m coming in!”
“Stop talking nonsense and stay outside!” After saying this, Earth Envoy realized that time was running out. The best course of action was to charge in and quickly eliminate Bing Tianyi. Only then could he successfully complete this mission with his brothers.
With that thought in mind, Earth Envoy charged forward without hesitation. Seeing this, Bing Tianyi could only place his hopes of survival on Mei Yuan. Although she didn’t know how to fight, calling the police shouldn’t be a problem for her.
“Mei Yuan, hurry up and call the police! Otherwise, you might never see me again!” Bing Tianyi shouted urgently at her.
Mei Yuan heard the sounds of fighting from inside the room and immediately pushed the door open. Upon entering, she saw the chaos within and furrowed her brows, looking at Bing Tianyi and asking in a low voice, "What... what is going on here?"
"Get out!" Earth Envoy turned around, his eyes filled with murderous intent as he shouted at Mei Yuan.
Upon hearing this, Mei Yuan frowned deeply and curiously asked Earth Envoy, "What do you mean? What are you trying to do?"
"What am I trying to do? Isn't that obvious? I'll tell you straight up: I'm using you to pull Bing Tianyi into our group, but now things have changed. He has become an obstacle for us, no longer beneficial." Earth Envoy said angrily, wanting to get Mei Yuan out of the room quickly so it wouldn't interfere with his plans.
After hearing this, Mei Yuan looked at Earth Envoy and forced a smile, saying, "Are you serious?"
Standing nearby, Bing Tianyi saw the sadness in Mei Yuan's eyes. To prevent her from getting hurt, he quickly urged her, "You should leave now; don't waste time talking to him."
Mei Yuan smiled slightly at Bing Tianyi, then without thinking much, she rushed forward and tightly hugged one of Earth Envoy's legs.
"Go! You two, hurry and leave!" Mei Yuan cried out with tears streaming down her face as she looked at Bing Tianyi.
Seeing this action from Mei Yuan, Bing Tianyi was stunned. Where did this girl find such courage for something like this? He realized that he hadn't really helped her before, yet now...
However, the current situation didn't allow him to think too much. He glanced at Mei Yuan, preparing to speak when Old Huang quickly stepped forward and said to Bing Tianyi, "You need to leave now; Earth Envoy is Mei Yuan's godfather. He won't harm her."
"That's nonsense! He's an internationally recognized assassin. If we don't take him out, we'll regret it sooner or later." Although Bing Tianyi said this, he was actually worried about Mei Yuan's safety.
Having followed Bing Tianyi for nearly three years, Old Huang could see the underlying meaning in his words.
After a moment of thought, Old Huang sighed heavily and said, "If you don't take this chance to leave quickly, our chances of survival will be uncertain."
Seeing that Bing Tianyi was still hesitating, Earth Envoy, while trying to shake off Mei Yuan, coldly mocked him, "I think you're a man; you can't let a woman who likes you be your shield, can you?"
If Earth Envoy hadn't said that, Bing Tianyi would have definitely chosen to stay. But hearing those words now made him smile.
"Earth Envoy, I'm sorry. I have to go now; we'll meet another day." After saying this, Bing Tianyi hurriedly turned and left.
Furious, Earth Envoy glanced down at Mei Yuan, who was still clinging tightly to his leg. As he watched Bing Tianyi walk away, he suddenly slapped down hard, causing Mei Yuan to fall to the ground.
As soon as the Earth Envoy chased out the door, Bing Tianyi and Old Huang had already vanished without a trace.
After leaving, Bing Tianyi did not dare to linger on the road and quickly circled around to the small hill behind the Farmhouse Fun Courtyard, carefully observing the scene within.
Old Huang followed closely beside Bing Tianyi, curiously asking with a hint of helplessness, "Boss Bing, why don't we stay out for a while longer? At this rate, we are always in danger; we might end up losing our lives one day."
"Don't worry, I'll find a way," Bing Tianyi replied softly to Old Huang while watching the courtyard.
Old Huang glanced at Bing Tianyi, forcing a smile as he rubbed his injured spot.
After nearly twenty minutes of observation, Bing Tianyi finally saw the Earth Envoy carrying Mei Yuan stepping out from the room they had just been in. He placed Mei Yuan on a nearby bed and then returned to gather his brothers and the severely beaten younger brother of Bing Tianyi before driving away.
"What does that old bastard plan to do with Mei Yuan?" Bing Tianyi sighed helplessly.
Upon hearing this, Old Huang smiled wryly at Bing Tianyi and said, "Heaven knows where he intends to take them. However, I believe he will come looking for you sooner or later."
"Let me think," Bing Tianyi said, inhaling sharply. After a few seconds, he spoke to Old Huang: "I think based on their style of doing things, they won't come directly for me next time."
"Why?" Old Huang asked curiously.
Bing Tianyi smiled and looked directly at Old Huang, saying, "The reason is simple. Think about it: they used Mei Yuan as bait this time. Since Mei Yuan is injured now, I suspect they will likely find someone else to lure me in."
"Who would they look for?" Old Huang still appeared puzzled as he whispered to Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi thought for a moment and then stood up to say to Old Huang, "Let's go find Wang Debiao."
"What do we need him for? He's just a businessman; he wouldn't get involved in these matters," Old Huang replied with a laugh.
Bing Tianyi revealed a strange smile and moved forward while whispering to Old Huang, "Old Huang, you don't know. This group came to Lan City intending to deal with me. So before they can handle me, they'll definitely try to find my weakness. In Lan City, aside from my few brothers by my side, my only weaknesses left are Mei Yuan and Wang Ziyan. With Mei Yuan injured now, who else is left? If it were you, who would you choose?"
Faced with Bing Tianyi's question, Old Huang suddenly realized and smiled back at him, saying, "So if we find Wang Ziyan, can we preemptively plan for the next move?"
"Of course," Bing Tianyi replied with a smile.
Old Huang eagerly followed Bing Tianyi after he finished speaking, hurrying off into the distance.
The two quickly found Wang Debiao at Wang Group. To Bing Tianyi's surprise, Ouyang Tian, whom he had been trying to find, was also in Wang Debiao's office.
Seeing this scene, Bing Tianyi stepped forward and asked Ouyang Tian with a smile, "Uncle Ouyang, when did you arrive in Lan City?"
