After seeing the expression on Su Qin's face, Bing Tianyi initially thought that she was just joking with him. However, unexpectedly, less than two days after the gathering, an incident occurred.
That day, after finishing his class, Wang Peng approached Bing Tianyi with a strange expression and said, "Brother Bing, something big has happened."
Feeling a bit helpless, Bing Tianyi asked Wang Peng, "What happened? What do you mean something big?"
Wang Peng sighed and said quietly, "Brother Bing, have you heard? Mei Yuan got beaten up."
"What? Beaten up? Who did it?" Bing Tianyi asked in surprise. At this point, he had not yet realized that Su Qin was involved.
Upon hearing Bing Tianyi's question, Wang Peng sighed again and said softly, "Brother Bing, I heard that Su Qin did it to help you."
"Come on, don't joke around. Su Qin and Mei Yuan have no grudges against each other. Why would she go and hit her?" Bing Tianyi replied, recalling the scene from two days ago when they were all drinking together.
However, after saying this, Bing Tianyi realized he was wrong. On that day when Su Qin mentioned she would handle the matter, he had simply smiled at her and told her not to get involved.

Thinking of this, Bing Tianyi quickly got up and rushed to find Su Qin without saying much more to Wang Peng.
At that moment, Su Qin was having a meal with two female classmates at a restaurant across from the school gate. When she saw Bing Tianyi rush in, she guessed he was looking for her regarding something important.

Su Qin nodded in agreement and followed Bing Tianyi out. Once outside, he smiled and asked, "What exactly is going on?"
"Did you do something about Mei Yuan?" Bing Tianyi asked directly without hesitation. After all, this was a significant matter, and he needed to confirm it now. If Su Qin admitted to it, he might be able to think of some remedial measures; at the very least, he would find a way to ensure Su Qin's safety.
Sure enough, after Bing Tianyi finished asking, Su Qin nodded and said, "Yes, I did this."
"No way, really? It was you?" Bing Tianyi's face was filled with a bitter smile as he stared intently at Su Qin.
Seeing the expression on Bing Tianyi's face, Su Qin raised an eyebrow and quietly asked, "Don't you like Wang Ziyan?"
"This isn't about liking or not liking. Do you know Mei Yuan's background?" Bing Tianyi asked curiously.
Su Qin chuckled dismissively and said, "Hah, what can she do to me? She's just a kid. I've been around in society for so many years and have plenty of friends in Lan City. It's no big deal if I slap her a few times or even cut her a bit; as long as it helps you get together with Ziyan, that's all that matters."
"Isn't that just reckless? Why would you do that? Didn't I tell you not to get involved in this matter?" Bing Tianyi shook his head with a sigh.
At the same time, he kept thinking that since things had already come to this point, from his brief interactions with Mei Yuan, he could tell that although she appeared delicate on the surface, she harbored a strong desire for revenge inside. Driven by this mentality, not only could she cause trouble directly, but even a glance or something minor could lead to unexpected trouble.
Realizing this, before Su Qin could speak again, Bing Tianyi said directly to him, "How about this: since the situation has already happened, I'll take you to apologize to Mei Yuan."
Upon hearing this, Su Qin gasped in surprise and looked at Bing Tianyi curiously. "I mean Brother Bing, are you still the same Bing Tianyi as before? What's happened now? It's just a girl; is there really a need to be so afraid of her?"
Bing Tianyi replied with a wry smile, "It's not about being afraid; I'm mainly worried about you. If you get hurt because of my issues, then that would be serious."
"Don't worry; she won't do anything to me. Even if she wants to deal with me, do you think I'm that easy to handle?" Su Qin smiled at Bing Tianyi.
Seeing the expression on Su Qin's face, Bing Tianyi could only helplessly smile and say, "Alright then. Just be careful during this time; don't let anything unexpected happen."
Su Qin quickly nodded in agreement, while Bing Tianyi sighed and turned to leave.
However, he did not head directly to the school. Instead, he walked partway and dialed Mei Yuan's number.
To his frustration, after calling four or five times, he found that the other party's phone was still temporarily unreachable.
At this point, he realized that the situation was serious.
With no other choice, he called Qilin. Once the call connected, Bing Tianyi smiled and said, "Brother, have you been training lately?"
After their last conversation, Qilin had successfully started learning martial arts under the guidance of Haozi. Although it had only been a short time, Qilin had made significant progress. As he spoke, Bing Tianyi stepped toward a nearby corner. A few minutes later, after avoiding the crowd, he whispered to Qilin, "Brother, I need your help with something."
"Brother is too polite; just tell me what you need. As long as it's within my capability, I'm willing to go through fire and water for you," Qilin replied generously.
Bing Tianyi nodded in agreement and then said seriously to Qilin, "It's quite simple. I want you to secretly protect someone for me during this time."
"Who? Is it your sister-in-law?" Qilin asked with a mischievous grin.
Bing Tianyi shook his head with a wry smile and said, "It's more like a friend."
"You say the name."
"Su Qin," Bing Tianyi said with a wry smile.
Upon hearing this, Qilin frowned and asked, "Are you talking about the Su Qin from freshman year? Did she hit Mei Yuan from your class this morning?"
"You know about this?" Bing Tianyi asked in surprise.
At this moment, Qilin laughed and said, "Of course I know. Not just me, I bet almost all the students in the school know about it now."
"How could everyone know? Did it happen in the schoolyard?" Bing Tianyi was even more speechless, wondering what Su Qin was thinking. Even if she was going to hit someone, at least she could have chosen a more discreet place.
However, in response to Bing Tianyi's inquiry, Qilin smiled and said, "Brother Bing, you probably won't believe it, but Su Qin hit Mei Yuan right in front of hundreds of people while having breakfast this morning. Her attitude was so arrogant that I felt a bit inferior."
After hearing this, Bing Tianyi felt like his world was collapsing. With a mournful expression, he looked at Qilin and sighed, "Alright, what's done is done. Just keep an eye on things for now. Mei Yuan isn't seriously hurt, right?"
"It seems like she's not seriously hurt; she just got slapped a few times. But I don't think Mei Yuan is an easy target. You'd better remind Su Qin to be careful too. You know I can't protect her every hour of every day," Qilin said frankly.
Bing Tianyi nodded and quietly said, "Don't worry; I'll tell her what she needs to know."
Qilin nodded, and after chatting for a few more minutes, he led his two friends away.
Once Qilin left, Bing Tianyi finally breathed a sigh of relief. With no classes in the afternoon, he headed straight to the Construction Site.
Time passed quickly, and in just two days, Bing Tianyi thought that Su Qin's incident might have settled down. However, unexpectedly, something caught him off guard.
On the morning of the second day after the incident, as soon as Bing Tianyi arrived at his class and the teacher had not yet entered, he was chatting with Wang Peng and others when his phone suddenly rang.
He answered the phone, and before he could ask anything, Qilin weakly said, "Bing... Brother Bing, something happened."
Bing Tianyi's expression immediately turned serious. He paused for a few seconds before asking in surprise, "What happened?"
"Brother Bing, just now... while we were shopping with Su Qin, Su Qin got hit by a car," Qilin said painfully.
"Are you okay? You're not hurt, right?" Bing Tianyi quickly asked.
At that moment, Qilin sighed softly, "I'm fine, but Su Qin might not make it."
Bing Tianyi immediately stood up and walked two steps to Mei Yuan, looking at her angrily and asking, "Mei Yuan, have you gone too far with this?"
In his anger, Bing Tianyi forgot the setting they were in. Mei Yuan, facing his accusation, pretended not to know and retorted, "What happened? Did I do something?"
"What’s going on with Su Qin?" Bing Tianyi demanded sharply.
"Heh, how would I know what happened?" Mei Yuan sneered and lowered her head to look at the book on her desk.
Seeing Mei Yuan's attitude at that moment, Bing Tianyi realized that this incident must be closely related to her. However, given the current situation, he felt that the most important thing was to get to the hospital quickly.
With that thought in mind, he glared at Mei Yuan fiercely before turning around and storming out.
