Bing Tianyi naturally understood Old Huang's temperament. Besides, Old Huang had played this trick on him several times before; today, it was just a simple exchange of positions between the two.
With a calm smile, Bing Tianyi whispered to Old Huang, "Alright, let you have your fun with me later."
A hint of smugness appeared in Old Huang's eyes as he replied softly, "That sounds good."
Wang Meng, noticing the two whispering to each other, felt curious and smiled as she asked, "Is there something unspeakable going on? Should Manager Mo and I step out for a moment?"
Hearing Wang Meng's teasing words, Bing Tianyi quickly laughed and said, "Of course not! I was just discussing a little matter with Old Huang." After saying this, Bing Tianyi turned the conversation back to Wang Meng and asked seriously, "Sister Wang, what did you want to talk to me about today?"
Wang Meng chuckled and looked at Bing Tianyi, asking word by word, "You set up this little meeting; now that I'm here, you're asking me what I want? Are you not planning to say anything? If not, I might just leave."
"Don't! Please don't! I was just joking!" Bing Tianyi laughed. "I believe Manager Mo has already explained the situation; I'm just curious about what you think, Sister Wang."
Wang Meng's expression shifted slightly as she looked at Bing Tianyi and asked curiously, "I'm not a big shot; what could my opinion be? If you want to develop that piece of land, just follow the normal procedures."
With Wang Meng's reassurance, Bing Tianyi felt completely at ease. He looked up at Wang Meng and smiled, saying, "Thank you very much for your help!"
Wang Meng smiled brightly at him and said, "Alright, little one, no need for such formalities in front of me."
"Hehe, Sister Wang is right; one should still be polite when it's appropriate," Bing Tianyi replied with a grin.
After a brief conversation among the four in the room, Wang Meng stood up to leave. Bing Tianyi along with Mo Yonggang and Old Huang escorted her out before returning to the private room.
As soon as he entered, Mo Yonggang didn't think twice and directly pounced on Bing Tianyi from behind, lifting him up and tossing him around a few times on the ground. With surprise, he exclaimed, "President Bing, you are amazing! Just a small note led Wang Meng to come out and meet you, and you even managed to strike a deal for that piece of land."
Bing Tianyi was panting, genuinely startled by Mo Yonggang's actions. Sitting on the sofa, while trying to calm himself down, he looked at Mo Yonggang and said frankly, "Manager Mo, this matter is not that simple. I thought about it, and although we have resolved the biggest difficulties, there are still many small issues that we need to address."
The reason Bing Tianyi said this was that he understood clearly that for big matters like these, he could rely on his memories of the actual situation back then and make appropriate adjustments. Solving them wasn't particularly difficult.
However, dealing with those small issues based solely on his memory was clearly unreliable. After all, his memory was limited, and back then he only knew about significant events happening around him; he had no knowledge of trivial matters.
After Bing Tianyi finished speaking, Mo Yonggang frowned and asked, "President Bing, since the land deal has been settled, what other issues could there possibly be?"
Seeing the expression on Mo Yonggang's face, Bing Tianyi couldn't help but smile and said, "Isn't it simple? You've been working at the Construction Company for so many years; you should know which aspects are the most challenging."
"Are you talking about land acquisition?" Mo Yonggang suddenly furrowed his brows tightly and quickly asked Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi sighed deeply and nodded, "Yes, it's about land acquisition."
At this mention, Mo Yonggang felt a jolt in his heart. Such matters are notoriously difficult to navigate anywhere, especially around urban areas.
Thinking to himself, Mo Yonggang quietly suggested, "How about we call that old crow over from Huating County Town?"
"No way. He can manage in Huating County Town, but once he gets to Lan City, he'll surely act like a fool. Besides, we are going to negotiate calmly for land acquisition; we are not looking for a fight," Bing Tianyi had already seen some conflicts arising from land acquisition in news reports and understood the importance of this matter.
Old Huang beside them knew he wouldn't have a good time later but refrained from interrupting too much since they were discussing serious matters. Once Bing Tianyi finished speaking, Old Huang earnestly said, "President Bing, most of the negative impacts caused by land acquisition stem from developers offering too little money, which leads to conflicts."
"Old Huang, that's not quite right. Our country has corresponding standards for land compensation; we can't go against those standards when acquiring land," Mo Yonggang interjected.
Upon hearing this, Old Huang was also taken aback.
Bing Tianyi, after listening to these words, suddenly realized and looked at Mo Yonggang with a smile, asking, "Why can't we? I want to know why we must compensate according to the standards."
"Mr. Bing, please don't joke around. If we raise the land price now, the real estate industry in Lan City will suffer greatly in the future. More importantly, have you considered how many real estate development companies there are in Lan City? Even a business tycoon like Wang Debiao wouldn't dare to compensate beyond the national standards. Do we have the courage to do that? In the end, won't these people unite and take us down?" Bing Tianyi smiled and said cheerfully, "You're only thinking about the negative impact. Have you not imagined what positive effects this could bring us?"
"What positive effects could there be? If we proceed like this, our real estate business will definitely be unable to continue," Mo Yonggang sighed helplessly.
Bing Tianyi chuckled, poured himself a glass of wine, took a sip, and then whispered to Mo Yonggang, "Brother, to be honest with you, this real estate deal is the last one I'll be doing in the next twenty years."
After Bing Tianyi finished speaking, both Mo Yonggang and Old Huang were stunned. They knew that their company had made all its money from the real estate market since its inception; if they were to abandon such a lucrative business in the future, wouldn't that be a huge loss?

"Weren't you against it at that time? You gave such a good place to that bastard Puzhu from the south." Mo Yonggang became angry just mentioning this matter; every time he returned to the county town and saw those high-rise buildings rising by the pond, he felt uneasy inside.
Mo Yonggang laughed heartily after hearing this and said, "Brother, don't be angry anymore. The main structures over there have already been partially completed. But do you know the sales figures for their rooms? By now, if it were the properties in Huating County Town from previous years, they would have probably sold out at least ten percent. Old Huang, who was listening, became even more curious and asked, "Mr. Bing, but after all, Huating County Town is just a small county; it looks like a tiny dot on the map. How can it represent the entire Northwest Region's real estate situation?"
Bing Tianyi chuckled again and looked at Old Huang with a sigh. "Let me ask you this: which county in our Northwest Region has the best economic level and the highest consumption?"
Seeing that Old Huang didn't know how to respond, Bing Tianyi continued with a smile, "Alright, let's not talk about the entire Northwest Region; let's just discuss our province."
After Bing Tianyi finished speaking, Mo Yonggang interjected, "I actually know this; Huating County Town has one of the highest consumption rates. But what does this have to do with the real estate market?"
Bing Tianyi smiled and said seriously, "Think about it carefully. Why is our real estate market in Huating County Town experiencing such a sharp decline? I believe with your intelligence, both of you can figure it out."
Seeing the strange smile on Bing Tianyi's face, the two suddenly understood something and looked at him with joy. "Mr. Bing, we get it!"
