Bing Tianyi originally thought that these guys were just going to come over and throw some punches, but he didn't expect that after the thief finished speaking, the seven or eight Young Men in front of him would suddenly pull out thirty to forty-centimeter-long machetes and charge straight at him.

The other guys nearby were stunned; they were serious, and this guy was serious too.
After taking down that guy, Bing Tianyi didn’t give the remaining few any chance. He charged into the crowd, using the wide attack range of his steel pipe to strike repeatedly, specifically targeting their calves.
After all, these people were just thieves. If he accidentally hit someone in the head and killed them, that would be his responsibility. Bing Tianyi was well aware of this; he didn’t want to arrive in Lan City only to face a manslaughter charge.
In just a few minutes, these guys were sprawled on the ground, moaning in pain. Meanwhile, Bing Tianyi waved his steel pipe and smiled as he asked them, "So tell me, how many times have you done this?"
The thieves had no mood to answer Bing Tianyi; they were all crying out in agony.
Seeing this, Bing Tianyi decided to take out his phone. Just as he was about to call the police, unexpectedly, the terrified thief timidly approached him from behind and whispered, "Big brother... please don’t call the police."
Bing Tianyi was speechless and turned around to look at the thief curiously asking, "If I don’t call the police, who’s going to pay for their medical expenses? I think it’s better to call the police and let them handle it."
In fact, Bing Tianyi was very confident that he hadn’t broken any laws with his actions; he had acted purely in self-defense. Even if the police came later, whether they would make him pay for medical expenses was uncertain.
However, these thieves were different; they could be considered organized and premeditated criminals. If arrested, it wouldn’t just be a simple detention.
Being in society like this, these thieves naturally understood this logic.
"Forget it; we won’t ask for medical expenses," one of the thieves said helplessly.
Bing Tianyi saw the expression on the thief's face and couldn't help but laugh, "Well, since you won't let me call the police, I'll let it go. But from now on, you all better watch yourselves and not bully anyone on the street."
This group of guys had run into a stone today, and they naturally accepted it. Thinking back to earlier on the street, anyone who offended them would surely not have a good outcome. But today, the tables had turned, and they were the ones facing consequences.
After the thief finished speaking, as Bing Tianyi turned to leave, he casually remarked with a smile, "Brothers, today I just wanted you to understand that there are always people better than you out there."
As this group watched Bing Tianyi's departing figure, their eyes were filled with hatred. The thief slowly took out his phone with trembling hands and dialed emergency services.
On the road, Bing Tianyi felt incredibly pleased. To be honest, if he had encountered such a situation in the past, he would have been buried under several feet of grass by now. But today, he had taken on seven opponents and emerged victorious. This was something he could never have imagined before.
Smiling contentedly, he kept glancing at the beautiful women passing by on the street. Just then, his phone rang. Upon answering, Old Huang quietly asked him, "Boss Bing, have you finished your business? Or is it still ongoing?"
Bing Tianyi curiously replied, "Old buddy, are you done over there? Do you need me to come help you clean up?"
Old Huang chuckled on the other end of the line and said, "Come on, I'm still young; how could I be done so quickly?"
"Alright then, just tell me what you need without all this chit-chat," Bing Tianyi said feigning annoyance.
After a moment of contemplation, Old Huang responded with a grin, "Okay, come over now; I'm waiting for you at North Street New Home Restaurant."
"Is Qin Yue still there?" Bing Tianyi continued to ask.
"Of course."
"Alright then, I'll be there soon." As he spoke, Bing Tianyi waved down a taxi and headed toward the restaurant Old Huang mentioned.
Before long, the car stopped in front of the restaurant. Just as Bing Tianyi was about to call for details about the private room, Old Huang unexpectedly poked his head out of a second-floor window and shouted, "Boss Bing! Over here! Room 203!"
Bing Tianyi looked at Old Huang and shook his head with a wry smile before heading upstairs. Upon entering the private room, he was surprised to find that there were more than just Old Huang and Qin Yue inside.
Next to Qin Yue sat a young man dressed in designer clothes with a Rolex on his wrist. For some reason, Bing Tianyi found him somewhat displeasing at first sight.
However, since it was their first meeting, Bing Tianyi couldn't be too rude. He approached the young man with a smile and asked, "And who might this friend be?"
“Zhu Xing, the son of Zhu Dachang,” Zhu Xing said loudly to Bing Tianyi while displaying a hint of disdain in his eyes as he walked on the chair.
Bing Tianyi felt a bit frustrated; why did this family have such strange names like Zhu Dachang and Zhu Xin?
Just as Bing Tianyi was curious, Qin Yue quickly explained, “Mr. Bing, this is my classmate. He is the only son of the famous Chairman of Zhu Pharmaceutical Group in Lan City.”
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi suddenly remembered that he had indeed seen this name before.
“So you are Chairman Zhu's son. It's a pleasure to meet you,” Bing Tianyi said politely with a smile.
Unexpectedly, after hearing this, Zhu Xing sneered and said, “Alright, stop flattering me. We’re all young people here; just be yourself.”
With that remark, Bing Tianyi didn’t know what to say. He stood there awkwardly smiling and nodded, saying, “Yes, you’re right.”
While saying this, Bing Tianyi secretly cursed in his heart: “Damn it, I’ve seen plenty of people more impressive than you. You think you can show off in front of me? Just wait.”
Seeing the situation unfold, Qin Yue felt a bit embarrassed and quickly introduced to Zhu Xing, “This is my sister’s lifesaver. He jumped into the water back then to save her. If it weren’t for him, my sister might not have made it.”
“Wow, a good young man who acts bravely?” Zhu Xing looked at Bing Tianyi with even more disdain.
Noticing the contempt in Zhu Xing's eyes, Bing Tianyi carefully observed his appearance. Over the past two years, he had not only made breakthroughs in his studies of I Ching but also learned quite a bit about physiognomy.
From Zhu Xing's face shape, he indeed appeared to belong to a wealthy and noble type; however, Bing Tianyi noticed an ominous sign at the corners of his eyes.
“Thank you for the compliment,” Bing Tianyi said with a smile.
At that moment, Old Huang could no longer sit still. Of course, if it weren’t for this kid showing up, Old Huang wouldn’t have called Bing Tianyi.
“Hey there, young man, can we have some decorum when we speak?” Old Huang said with a smile but in a very stiff tone.
As soon as he finished speaking, Bing Tianyi chuckled and replied to Old Huang, “Old Huang, it’s fine; they’re all young people. It’s understandable.”
Old Huang helplessly glanced at Bing Tianyi and decided to stand up and say, “Mr. Bing, I’m feeling unwell; I’ll step out for a bit.”
Bing Tianyi nodded with a smile. After Old Huang left, Zhu Xing, looking displeased, asked, "What’s up? Who was that? He seemed pretty impressive. Does he not want to make a name for himself in Lan City anymore?"
Hearing this, Bing Tianyi was completely speechless, thinking to himself how Zhu Dachang could have such a troublesome son.
Qin Yue, nearby, also felt that Zhu Xing's words were a bit out of line. As soon as Zhu Xing finished speaking, Qin Yue helplessly said, "Zhu Xing, I invited you here to meet my friend, not to show off in front of me. Please show some respect."
"You..." Zhu Xing suddenly stood up and frowned at Qin Yue.
Seeing this, Bing Tianyi played the peacemaker. As soon as Zhu Xing stood up, he quickly smiled and said, "Come on, brother, don’t be like that. We’re all friends; why make it difficult? Sit down and let’s have a drink."
After saying this, Bing Tianyi turned to Qin Yue with a smile and said, "Qin Yue, for my sake, let’s not say more."
Qin Yue didn’t respond but seemed to agree with Bing Tianyi's suggestion.
"So what do you do for work now?" Bing Tianyi changed the subject and asked Zhu Xing with a smile.
Zhu Xing didn’t think much and coldly replied to Bing Tianyi, "You wouldn’t understand even if I told you."
Of course, Zhu Xing had his reasons for this response. After all, he and Qin Yue had been dating for four years. It was only recently that her family agreed to their relationship. Who would have thought that Qin Yue would bring out a life-saver like him and insist that he show great respect when calling him?
Thinking about his own status and being asked to respect someone else was clearly lowering his own worth. Most importantly, if he praised another man to the skies, what would that make him?
