Beside him, Mo Yonggang breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this. After years in the business world, Mo Yonggang understood better than Bing Tianyi how crucial it was to gain Wang Debiao's approval.
After a brief conversation in the room, Bing Tianyi turned to leave with Old Huang and Mo Yonggang.
Once outside, it was already past one in the afternoon. The three of them casually found a restaurant on the street, ordered a few small dishes and three bowls of noodles, and began to eat.
At the dining table, Mo Yonggang finally asked about the situation between Bing Tianyi and Wang Debiao in the study.
Seeing Mo Yonggang's inquiry, Bing Tianyi recounted the circumstances as they were. After listening to Bing Tianyi's response, Mo Yonggang put down his chopsticks and looked at him with confusion, asking, "President Bing, have you lost your mind? You just let go of such a great opportunity?"
"Brother, what's wrong with you? It's not like I'm asking you to be my son-in-law; why are you so worked up?" Bing Tianyi replied with a helpless smile.
Mo Yonggang was left speechless. Looking at Bing Tianyi, he sighed and said, "President Bing, there are some things I don't know whether I should say or not."
"Just say whatever's on your mind; there's no need to beat around the bush in front of me," Bing Tianyi said lightly while eating.
At that moment, Mo Yonggang murmured, "President Bing, of course I know that our company's development up to this point is largely due to your efforts. But do you really think our company is strong enough now?"
"Don't you think so?" Bing Tianyi asked with a smile.
"No. Our company is definitely among the top in the county. However, if we were to enter Lan City, it would be like throwing a small stone into a vast lake; initially, there might be ripples, but after a while, once those ripples fade away, it would be nearly impossible to see our company's presence again," Mo Yonggang explained honestly.
This was also why Mo Yonggang had previously refused Big Head's proposals to enter Lan City. Big Head had suggested several times to expand into Lan City, but each time Mo Yonggang had turned him down. The reason was simple: they couldn't find a powerful backing in Lan City.
However, now Mo Yonggang thought that Bing Tianyi could leverage his connection with Wang Ziyan to establish ties with Wang Debiao. At that point, if their company entered Lan City, everything else would fall into place.

"Boss Bing, please stop pretending. I already know why you want to refuse," Mo Yonggang replied confidently with a smile.
Bing Tianyi shook his head with a bitter smile and then asked Mo Yonggang, "Then tell me, what do you think my intentions are?"
Without hesitation, Mo Yonggang said, "You must know that our arrival in Lan City is not going to be easy, and there will be many difficulties ahead. If you agree to Wang Debiao's terms now, it would mean telling him that we will have to rely on him to enter the real estate development industry in the future. If that's the case, we will likely have to listen to him for everything. However, if we refuse directly, Wang Debiao will definitely look at us differently. Mo Yonggang was even more curious now. Sitting in his chair and looking at Bing Tianyi with a helpless expression, he asked, "Boss Bing, we're discussing the land issue; what do you want to visit Liu Dacai for?"
"Haha, you may not know this, but if I'm not mistaken, Liu Dacai is currently interested in this piece of land, and I estimate that Liu Dacai has relatives in the political sphere here," Bing Tianyi asserted.

At this point, Mo Yonggang had already made the call. A few seconds later, he spoke directly into the phone, "Brother, how have you been lately?"
"Look at you! The reason I'm calling today is to ask for your help in finding someone," Mo Yonggang said seriously before hesitating for a moment and then mentioning Liu Dacai's name.
Time passed quickly, and a few minutes later, Mo Yonggang hung up the phone and put his mobile back in his pocket. With a helpless expression on his face, he said, "Boss Bing, you were right about this; that piece of land is indeed being prepared for acquisition by Liu Dacai."
After Mo Yonggang finished speaking, Bing Tianyi frowned and then quietly asked, "Brother, did you find out which company he's with?"
"He's the chairman of Mao Cai Company, and it seems that the city government has relatives from their family," Mo Yonggang continued earnestly.
After a brief moment of thought, Bing Tianyi smiled at Mo Yonggang and said directly, "Do you know specifically who their relatives are? Can you tell me?"
"I don't know that on his end, but give me half a day; I'm sure I can find out," Mo Yonggang replied confidently with a smile.
