"Good to hear. I'm curious about what important matter brings you here today, Mr. Bing?"
Although Wang Debiao asked this question, he had already guessed why Bing Tianyi was there. Among the young people he knew, very few could compare to Bing Tianyi. Most importantly, this young man was very ambitious; last year, he had inferred from his daughter's words that Bing Tianyi would eventually enter the real estate market in Lan City.

Hearing this, Bing Tianyi smiled and said, "If I told you I'm planning to enter the real estate development industry in Lan City, what would you think about that, Chairman Wang?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, Wang Ziyan looked at Bing Tianyi in surprise and asked, "Mr. Bing, are you really planning to do business in Lan City? When are you coming?"
Looking at the expression on Wang Ziyan's face, it seemed she was very much looking forward to Bing Tianyi coming to Lan City.
Bing Tianyi replied calmly with a smile, "I'm just considering it for now; I don't know when I'll actually come. After all, I'm unfamiliar with this place. If I don't have anyone to help me out, I might just end up wasting money."
After saying this, Wang Ziyan laughed heartily without a second thought, "What are you talking about? How can it be unfamiliar? As long as you can come to Lan City, my father will definitely help you, right, Dad?"
When Wang Ziyan finished speaking, she directly looked at her father's face.
Wang Debiao felt completely frustrated. Despite often teaching his daughter the rules of the business world, it seemed that all that time had been in vain.

The two went upstairs to Wang Debiao's study. After closing the door behind them, Wang Debiao looked up at Bing Tianyi and said with a smile, "Bing Tianyi, you have quite an ambition. In just three short years, you're preparing to enter Lan City."
"Chairman Wang," Bing Tianyi replied while looking directly at him with a smile, "It seems like your words imply that you're not very welcoming of my arrival?"
Wang Debiao sneered and said, "Mr. Bing, to be honest, I am indeed not very welcoming of your coming. However, as you just saw, my daughter’s attitude towards you is quite clear. As long as you can promise me one thing, I will not only warmly welcome you to Lan City but also provide you with comprehensive support after your arrival."
Seeing Wang Debiao say this made Bing Tianyi feel quite happy. However, he quickly sensed that something was off.
After some simple consideration, Bing Tianyi steadied himself and asked Wang Debiao in a low voice, "I wonder what Chairman Wang wants me to promise you?"

Sitting at the desk and hesitating for a moment, Wang Debiao continued to ask, "Then why do you disagree? There must be a reason."
"Chairman Wang, I hope you won't be upset when I say this, but I believe that feelings require the willingness of both parties. If material conditions are used as a form of exchange, what was once a pure emotion becomes tainted." Bing Tianyi said earnestly, a sincere smile on his face.
Wang Debiao chuckled in response. In this society, talking about genuine emotions seemed utterly absurd. Was it that his own heart was too dirty, or was this young man simply too naive?
"Bing Tianyi, I'm quite curious and honestly a bit perplexed. How could you have such thoughts and still manage to amass assets worth over a hundred million in just three years?" Wang Debiao sighed, feeling helpless.

"Alright then, since you want to come to Lan City to develop your career, go ahead. But let me make this clear: if you encounter any difficulties in the future, don't come looking for me. Also, don't approach my daughter," Wang Debiao stated bluntly.
Bing Tianyi wasn't foolish either. Once Wang Debiao finished speaking, he smiled and replied, "Since Chairman Wang has said so, let me be bold and say this: if you agree to my coming to Lan City for development now, please don't undermine me behind my back."
Better safe than sorry; especially in business, people would do anything for profit.
After Bing Tianyi finished speaking, Wang Debiao wasn't angered by his words. Instead, he smiled and said to Bing Tianyi, "Don't worry; as long as you don't undermine me behind my back, we’ll be fine."
The two exchanged a few more words in the room. As Bing Tianyi was about to leave, he suddenly remembered something regarding Ouyang Tian and curiously asked, "Chairman Wang, there's one more thing I'd like to trouble you with."
"Go ahead," Wang Debiao smiled.
"I heard from Wang Ziyan that Ouyang Tian left your company two years ago. I'm wondering if you've had any contact with him during these past two years?" Bing Tianyi asked seriously.
Wang Debiao listened and curiously asked, "What did you ask him for? Are you worried that someone in Lan City might assassinate you?"
"That's not it. Mainly, I still owe him a favor. If I can find him, I can repay that favor, and we won't owe each other anything," Bing Tianyi casually provided a reason and said seriously to Wang Debiao.
Wang Debiao smiled lightly and replied, "I really don't know about that. Why don't you try looking for Ouyang Tian's family instead?"
For Wang Debiao, Ouyang Tian's appearance was also a surprise. If it weren't for that robbery case years ago, he might not have even met Ouyang Tian.
