Bing Tianyi nodded in agreement and curiously asked the dazed Huang Ke beside him, "Huang, what exactly did you want to talk to me about today?"
"It's simple. I just want to hear you talk about your relationship with Ziyan," Huang Ke said with a cold smile as he looked at Bing Tianyi.
"What do you mean by that?" Bing Tianyi asked, somewhat confused.
However, Huang Ke's next words left Bing Tianyi both amused and exasperated.
"Bing Tianyi, since Wang Ziyan is here today, I'll be straightforward with you. I like Wang Ziyan, but she doesn't like me. The reason for that is your presence. If you could step aside from between us, I think it would be very beneficial for you," Huang Ke said seriously, looking at Bing Tianyi with a threatening tone.
Bing Tianyi chuckled and frowned as he asked, "Brother, what if I choose not to step aside?"
"Well, I can clearly tell you that you won't be able to attend this school anymore," Huang Ke said directly, a hint of arrogance in his expression.
Bing Tianyi smiled wryly. To be honest, he had never encountered such an arrogant young man before. But today, he finally met one.
"Very well, your words have truly scared me," Bing Tianyi said as he took a sip of tea from the table.
Wang Ziyan could no longer contain herself. She looked at Huang Ke with helplessness and sighed, "Huang Ke, there’s no possibility between us. I've made that very clear to you long ago. Also, whether I like you or Bing Tianyi has nothing to do with this, so why are you confronting him?"
Bing Tianyi glanced at Wang Ziyan and chuckled softly, "Alright, just don't waste your breath talking to someone like him."
As soon as Bing Tianyi finished speaking, Huang Ke stood up excitedly and pointed angrily at Bing Tianyi's nose, shouting, "Bing Tianyi, who are you calling brainless? Say it again if you dare!"
Bing Tianyi had long seen that Huang Ke was unhappy with him. He never expected that he would openly try to steal a woman from him now; wasn't this just looking for trouble?
Since things had developed to this point, Bing Tianyi felt it was time to teach this kid a lesson.
"Come on, step outside with me." Bing Tianyi walked over to Huang Ke, grabbing him by the neck and saying sternly.
Having spent so much time in the streets, Bing Tianyi may not have learned much else, but he had picked up quite a few fighting skills. After all, with experts like Rat and Old Huang around, learning a few moves to deal with this group of elementary school students was more than enough.
As Bing Tianyi pulled him, Huang Ke grabbed a nearby cup and splashed half of its water onto Bing Tianyi's face.
If he hadn't splashed that water, Bing Tianyi would have just taken Huang Ke outside. But now that the water was on his face, Bing Tianyi was completely furious.
"Are you looking to die?" Lin Chen said, turning and delivering a loud slap to Huang Ke's face.
Huang Ke was just a student after all; one slap from Bing Tianyi left him dazed.
"You hit me! How dare you hit me!" After a moment, Huang Ke steadied himself, tears of grievance welling in his eyes as he glared fiercely at Bing Tianyi and muttered.
Bing Tianyi frowned. He had originally planned to kick Huang Ke a few times, but seeing the tears in his eyes made him feel a bit reluctant.
"Get lost. Don't come looking for trouble in front of me again," Bing Tianyi said firmly.
Huang Ke sneered through his tears, hesitated for a moment on the spot, then turned and slammed the door as he left.
In the private room, Bing Tianyi sat across from Wang Ziyan. With a helpless sigh, he said, "What’s wrong with Huang Ke? Has he gone mad?"
"What’s wrong? Don’t you know? You should have understood what Huang Ke said just now," Wang Ziyan replied with a bitter smile.
Bing Tianyi inhaled sharply and chuckled helplessly. "This kid really doesn’t know what he’s thinking."
"Alright, let’s talk about your situation. I heard Qiangzi got caught. You must be the boss in the county now, right?" Wang Ziyan asked curiously while looking at Bing Tianyi with a knowing expression.
Bing Tianyi furrowed his brow and asked quietly, "Did Ouyang Tian tell you?"
"Who else could it be?" Wang Ziyan retorted.
"What else did he say to you?"
"Not much, just that your ambitions are quite large," Wang Ziyan replied, not looking up from the food that had just been served.
Of course, in Bing Tianyi's mind, those so-called ambitions were undoubtedly about his desire to continue developing and expanding his career. He also understood that within the next four years, the construction industry still had significant growth potential. However, after four years, the prospects for the construction industry would not be as prosperous as they were now.
In just four years, Bing Tianyi couldn't guarantee much else, but he was quite confident that he could become a billionaire.
Just as the two were talking, there was a sudden urgent knocking at the door of the private room.
Bing Tianyi frowned and curiously asked Wang Ziyan, "What’s going on? Did you invite someone else?"
Seeing Bing Tianyi's inquiry, Wang Ziyan expressed some concern, saying, "Could it be Huang Ke bringing someone here?"
"Bringing someone? Who?" Bing Tianyi laughed dismissively as he stood up and walked toward the door.
When he opened the door, it was indeed Huang Ke, followed by two brothers from A-Kun. As the door opened, the two were about to curse loudly but were taken aback to see Bing Tianyi standing before them.
"Bing... Brother Bing, what are you doing here?" one of the men on Huang Ke's left asked nervously with a forced smile.
"What? Didn't Huang Ke tell you who attacked him earlier?" Bing Tianyi asked with a frown.
"Oh... no, we just came to take a look. Brother Bing, if you have something to do, please go ahead. Sorry for bothering you," they said hurriedly as they turned to leave.
This left Huang Ke standing alone at the entrance of the private room, looking foolish with a dazed expression and despair written all over his face.
"I told you before, brother, if there's anything going on, we can discuss it properly," Bing Tianyi said earnestly.
"Alright, Bing Tianyi, you're impressive. I still don't believe there's no one who can control you."
Huang Ke was so furious that his eyes turned red. After saying this, he actually charged straight into the door frame.
Seeing this, Bing Tianyi felt like his world had shattered. What on earth was this guy trying to do?
In the room, Wang Ziyan heard the commotion and hurriedly got up. When she saw the scene before her, she was also stunned. At that moment, Huang Ke was bleeding from his head and collapsed limply onto the floor.
"Brother, why go through all this? Even if you want to frame me, at least find a place without cameras, right? Look over there; such a big camera is right in front of you, and you didn't even glance at it," Bing Tianyi sighed helplessly as he rushed over to help Huang Ke up.
When Huang Ke saw the camera in the corner to his left, he felt utterly defeated. However, due to the force he had exerted earlier, his mind was now foggy, and he could only let Bing Tianyi help him outside.
At the county hospital, Huang Ke lay on the hospital bed receiving an IV drip. A few minutes later, a middle-aged man burst into the room. He wore gold-rimmed glasses and had very sparse hair on top of his head, looking like someone who had been overly exhausted.
As a fortune-teller, Bing Tianyi first looked at the man's face upon seeing him.
From just the shape of his face, although he seemed to have a wealthy appearance, his life path was riddled with disasters.
"What happened?" The man frowned as he looked at his son lying on the bed.
Huang Ke said nothing; tears streamed down his face instantly.
"How old are you now? Why are you crying? Just say whatever you need to," Huang Ke's father scolded him with a tone of disappointment.
"Uncle, you must be Huang Ke's father?" Bing Tianyi stepped forward to ask.
"Yes, and you are?" Huang Ke's father asked quietly as he looked at this seemingly familiar face.
Bing Tianyi didn't think much and replied directly, "My name is Bing Tianyi. I'm Huang Ke's classmate. This is Wang Ziyan; we're all in the same class."
"Oh, since you are classmates, please have a seat," Huang Ke's Father said. After this, he frowned and asked Bing Tianyi, "Child, could you please explain how the injury on his head happened?"
Bing Tianyi showed an awkward expression on his face, unsure of how to start explaining the situation. After thinking seriously for a moment, Bing Tianyi proceeded to recount the entire story.
Of course, this included the part where Bing Tianyi slapped Huang Ke.
Upon hearing this, Huang Ke's Father glanced at Wang Ziyan standing next to Bing Tianyi and then turned to look at his son lying helplessly on the hospital bed, curiously asking, "Is that how it happened?"
Huang Ke did not respond, but his eyes indicated that there was a high probability that it was true.
Seeing this, Huang Ke's Father waved his hand at Bing Tianyi and said, "Alright, you two can go now."
Bing Tianyi nodded. As he was leaving, he quietly told Huang Ke on the bed, "Don't worry, I will help you get a leave of absence."
Huang Ke remained silent, turning his back to the door and saying nothing.
After Bing Tianyi left, Huang Ke's Father stepped forward to close the hospital room door and then looked at his son sternly, shouting, "You worthless thing! You're still so young and you've gotten yourself into this mess over a girl. Have you been kicked in the head by a donkey?"
Hearing his father's scolding, Huang Ke could no longer hold back. He turned around and passionately said to his father, "Dad, I must marry Wang Ziyan in this lifetime; otherwise, I won't live!"
Huang Ke's Father was taken aback and gritted his teeth as he looked at his son. At that moment, he felt an impulse to beat his son to death. However, seeing Huang Ke's pitiful expression softened his heart as a father.
