Now, Bing Tianyi has undergone a tremendous transformation in both his inner world and emotional landscape. From being looked down upon by others to becoming a role model in the eyes of many, Bing Tianyi knows that he is undoubtedly successful.
Of course, there are many times when Bing Tianyi feels somewhat lost. Just like now, he is unsure of what his relationship with Fang Qing really means, yet they are still together.
Hearing Fang Qing's laughter at that moment, Bing Tianyi sighed and turned to look at Fang Qing, who was sitting closely beside him, her graceful figure and fair arms captivating him. Bing Tianyi found it hard to suppress his impulsive feelings; he inhaled the fragrance emanating from Fang Qing, and within seconds, he quickly reacted.
Fang Qing's face flushed red. In a room alone together, it would be false to say that this young woman did not yearn for something more.
"I shouldn't be too happy about this; let's just enjoy ourselves," Bing Tianyi said as he picked up Fang Qing and rushed into the bedroom.
At first, Fang Qing pretended to resist, but soon both of them were lost in the moment.
The next morning, after waking up, Bing Tianyi found that Fang Qing had already prepared breakfast for him. After getting dressed and heading to the bathroom, he noticed the toiletries that Fang Qing had set out for him. All of this warmed his heart.
After breakfast, Bing Tianyi went downstairs and took a quick look around his parents' shop before hurrying back to the company.
Three days later, the police operation was set to take place as scheduled. This morning, Bing Tianyi received a message from Qin Qi, which made him particularly cautious today. Naturally, Bing Tianyi heeded Qin Qi's advice.
A cornered rabbit will bite back, let alone someone as ruthless as Qiangzi.
In the office, Bing Tianyi sat quietly on the sofa, waiting for good news about Qiangzi's arrest to reach his ears. However, as time passed, he began to feel that things were not as simple as he had imagined or as easy as the police had previously speculated.
"Knock knock knock."
While sitting quietly on the sofa, an urgent knocking sound suddenly broke through the silence.
"Come in, the door is open," Bing Tianyi called out quickly.
At that moment, Mouse strode in through the door, panting as he came to a stop and said directly to Bing Tianyi, "Big Brother, things are not looking good."
Bing Tianyi sighed and sat down on the sofa, feeling quite helpless. It was hard to believe that a group of people couldn't handle one person, and now there was an unexpected turn of events that left everyone puzzled.
"Go ahead, tell me what happened," Bing Tianyi asked seriously.
"Today, when the police were trying to capture Qiangzi, they found out that Qiangzi had gone missing. The police reviewed all the surveillance footage in the county but still couldn't find any trace of Qiangzi," Mouse relayed the information he had gathered from the police.
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi frowned and looked at Mouse curiously. "Wasn't Qiangzi being followed by SWAT? How could he just disappear?"
"I asked, and that young officer said they weren't clear on the specifics either," Mouse replied helplessly.
Just then, Duck Brother and Old Huang knocked and entered from the office. Seeing Bing Tianyi's worried expression, Old Huang jokingly said, "Boss Bing, what could possibly stump you, the great fortune teller?"
Hearing the term "fortune teller," Bing Tianyi suddenly realized something. He quickly smiled at Old Huang and said, "Old Huang, go start the car; we need to head to the police station now."
Old Huang had only been joking earlier and was surprised by Bing Tianyi's reaction. He looked up at him in confusion and murmured, "Boss Bing, what's going on? Are we planning something else?"
Bing Tianyi took off his sweat-soaked tank top and changed into a cooler thermal shirt before looking at Old Huang seriously. "No more questions; let's hurry."
Old Huang reluctantly headed downstairs and started the car, parking it by the roadside.
As Bing Tianyi stepped outside, he smiled at Mouse and Duck Brother. "You two stay at the company for now; I'll let you know if anything comes up."
Mouse and Duck Brother nodded in agreement as Bing Tianyi stepped out of the car. After fastening his seatbelt, he looked at Old Huang, who was driving, and smiled, "I must say, Old Huang, your role is quite significant at critical moments, isn't it?"
Old Huang forced a smile and sighed helplessly, "What role could I possibly have?"
"If you hadn't reminded me just now, I would have completely forgotten that I'm a fortune teller," Bing Tianyi said with a smug grin.
Old Huang couldn't help but glance at Bing Tianyi's face, thinking that this kid must be confused. What good does being a fortune teller do? All he can do is predict others' fortunes; it's not like he can foresee Qiangzi ending up in prison.
Curiously, Old Huang chuckled softly, "Boss Bing, are you really planning to go give the police at the Public Security Bureau a fortune reading?"
What was meant to be a teasing remark took an unexpected turn when Bing Tianyi laughed and asked back, "How did you know?"
Old Huang nearly spat out blood. Was this kid out of his mind? The police were probably busy with their work; he would just be causing trouble by showing up to give them a reading. If he went there and things turned out mildly troublesome, he might get kicked out. If it escalated, they could arrest Bing Tianyi for disturbing public order and promoting superstition, which would be serious trouble.
Thinking of this, Old Huang immediately hit the brakes and said to Bing Tianyi with exasperation, "I mean it, Boss Bing. Can we not joke around? If you want to read fortunes, we can do that at the office. Going to the Public Security Bureau to read fortunes for them is just asking for trouble."
"Relax! If they manage to arrest me today, I swear I won't go by the name Bing anymore!" Bing Tianyi declared confidently.
Of course, Bing Tianyi felt somewhat assured about going there now. The police had only just begun to act after all this time, which indicated their seriousness about the matter. They had been gathering evidence, making plans, and designing action strategies; the entire arrest plan was quite meticulous.
But little did they know that just when they were about to catch Qiangzi, they couldn't find him anywhere.
At that moment, the police were undoubtedly like ants on a hot pan—restless and anxious.
If he could deduce the location where Qiangzi was hiding, it would be like sending a feather from a thousand miles away for the police; why would they still arrest themselves?
Old Huang saw the confident smile on Bing Tianyi's face and couldn't help but sigh, "I really don't know what you're thinking, Bing."
Despite Old Huang's helpless sigh, he still followed Bing Tianyi's instructions and drove towards the police station.
On the way, Bing Tianyi called Qin Qi. At that moment, Qin Qi was leading plainclothes officers in searching for the likely hiding place of Qiangzi. When she heard her phone ring and answered it, her first words to Bing Tianyi were a stern question: "What's going on? Where is Qiangzi now?"
Bing Tianyi could tell from Qin Qi's tone that she was definitely suspicious that he had leaked information.
"How would I know?" Bing Tianyi replied innocently.
"Hmph, where are you?" Qin Qi asked coldly, curious about his whereabouts.
"I'm on my way to the police station, ready to help you," Bing Tianyi explained.
Qin Qi paused for a moment on the other end of the line and then said softly, "Alright, wait for me at the police station. I'll be there soon."
After hanging up, Qin Qi temporarily handed over her tasks to other officers and hurriedly drove towards the police station.
Bing Tianyi waited at the station for just a few minutes when Qin Qi walked in. Upon seeing him, she frowned and said, "Come with me."
Old Huang was completely speechless at this point. Seeing the dark expression on Qin Qi's face, he knew that Bing Tianyi was in for a rough time today. However, looking at Bing Tianyi, who was waving and smiling at him without a care in the world, Old Huang could only bitterly smile and follow him upstairs to ensure his safety.
Upon entering the office of Qin Qi, she immediately said to Old Huang, who followed her in, "Close the door."
Old Huang nodded and shut the door tightly. At that moment, Qin Qi fixed her gaze on Bing Tianyi and asked, "Now that it's just the three of us, let's talk. When are you planning to leak the information?"
"Sister Qin, you really are wronging me. Ever since I received the news this morning, I haven't stepped out of the company even once. How could I have had time to spread any information?" Bing Tianyi replied helplessly.
Qin Qi sneered; as a police officer, she only believed in evidence. Even though she and Bing Tianyi had a good relationship in the past, when it came to handling cases, Qin Qi drew a clear line.
"Alright, you don't need to explain. I think once we catch Qiangzi, everything will become clear," Qin Qi said as she prepared to turn and leave.
Just as Qin Qi reached the door, Bing Tianyi suddenly spoke up, "Even if you want to catch Qiangzi, you don't even know where he is right now. How do you plan to catch him?"
"Are you doubting our police force's capabilities?" Qin Qi asked curiously as she looked at Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi shook his head with a smile and said, "Of course not. I just want to help you."
Qin Qi laughed and asked Bing Tianyi, "Help? How do you plan to help us? Are you going to assist us in leaking the information?"
Hearing this, Bing Tianyi was left speechless. He understood that if he wanted to help the police now, his only entry point was Qin Qi. However, since Qin Qi didn't trust him at all right now, it seemed unlikely that he could proceed with his plan through this entry point.
Thinking quickly in his mind, Bing Tianyi soon came up with a second plan. After Qin Qi finished speaking, he stood up and said directly, "I want to see your director."
"What did you say?" Qin Qi furrowed her brows in surprise and asked.
