After hanging up, they arrived at the agreed location—a rental house in a residential area on the west side of the county. Two plainclothes police officers stood at the door while Xu Zihe was receiving an IV inside. His chest injury needed treatment; if it became infected, it would be a serious issue.
At the door, Bing Tianyi exchanged a few words with the two officers before leading Xu Zhiqiang inside.
Once inside, when Xu Zhiqiang saw his brother Xu Zihe lying on the bed, he was stunned and rushed over to ask, "Little brother, how are you? Are you okay?"
Xu Zihe opened his eyes upon seeing his brother and smiled, saying, "I'm fine. What brings you here?"
"I came with Brother Bing to check on you," Xu Zhiqiang replied straightforwardly.
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi had a sudden idea and quickly said to Xu Zhiqiang, "Brother Xu, now that you've seen him, you should feel relieved."
