The old man frowned in displeasure as he saw Bing Tianyi offering him a cup of wine.
Turning his head to glance at Bing Tianyi, he curiously asked, "What's going on? Can't you handle such a small matter? I am your Second Uncle; is this how you show respect when toasting me? Are you not planning to kneel?"
Bing Tianyi stood there, holding the wine cup, staring at the old man.
Seeing that Bing Tianyi remained unmoved, the old man became even angrier. He stood up, grabbed the wine bottle from the table, and smashed it on the floor while shouting loudly, "Tell your father, Second Uncle Bing, to come out! What kind of nonsense is this? How did he raise such an ungrateful brat who knows nothing of manners and decency!"
As the old man shouted, the surrounding guests turned their heads to look over.
Bing Tianyi's face turned red with embarrassment. He quickly said to the old man, "My Second Uncle, today is my special day; please let it go. If I've done something wrong, I will correct it as best as I can."
Nearby, Second Uncle's Third Son noticed that the old man's tactics were effective and quickly gestured for him to be even more severe. The old man was truly determined for his Third Son to find a wife.
After seeing the expression on his Third Son's face, the old man frowned and said, "Tell your father to come out; I don't need to argue with you."
At the same time, Duck Brother Chen Tian and his group of young men gathered around. They focused intently on the five in front of them. Honestly, if Bing Tianyi weren't here today, these young men would probably have thrown the old man out directly.
"What are you looking at? I am Bing Tianyi's Second Uncle; remember me well," the old man declared clearly.

"Brother Bing, come here for a moment," Duck Brother said with a frown as he leaned closer to Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi nodded and said directly to the old man with a smile, "Second Uncle, please wait a moment; I'll go call my parents."
"Come on, you little bastard, now that you're making money, you don't plan to acknowledge us poor relatives?" The old man shouted angrily from the side.
Bing Tianyi walked away and approached Duck Brother, asking in a low voice, "What's going on?"
"Brother, since we're already in this situation, let's just get rid of this old man," Duck Brother said bluntly.
"Stop talking nonsense," Bing Tianyi waved his hand and sighed helplessly.
After some consideration, he realized that under these circumstances, he would have to ask his parents for help.
Father Bing and Mother Bing came over, and the old man clearly became much more amiable as they started chatting. Seeing that the situation had stabilized, Bing Tianyi finally breathed a sigh of relief.
By around three in the afternoon, after all the guests had left, Bing Tianyi was left with Chen Huaqiang and his wife, along with Chen Qian and his parents. The family moved to a private room. Of course, Bing Tianyi's newly emerged Second Uncle's family also joined the gathering.
Once inside, Chen Huaqiang took out a paper box filled with wine and handed it to Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi opened it to find it contained nearly half a bag of cash.
"Uncle, what is this for?"
Chen Huaqiang smiled and said, "This is your gift money; just take it. Also, the list of people who sent gifts is inside that box; you can take a look."
"Alright then, if that's the case, I'll accept it." Bing Tianyi placed the bag aside and said with a smile.
Chen Huaqiang sighed and looked at Bing Tianyi directly, saying, "Now that you're somewhat of a boss yourself, it's best to buy a car when you go out. I think this gift money could almost buy you a decent one."
"I'm not old enough to get a driver's license yet."
"That's alright; your subordinates Nan Hao and Duck Brother can drive. Just let them take you wherever you need to go," Chen Huaqiang had already planned everything out for Bing Tianyi.
After Chen Huaqiang finished speaking, Bing Tianyi nodded and smiled in agreement.
Having been busy all day, Bing Tianyi already felt a void in his stomach. After exchanging a few simple words, he began to eat.
In the afternoon, after settling the bill, Bing Tianyi returned home with some extra money. Along the way, Father Bing was quite polite to the old man’s family. Upon arriving home, Bing Tianyi greeted everyone briefly before quickly retreating to his bedroom.
To be honest, Bing Tianyi felt he would never forget what the old man's family had done to his family back then.
After resting for about twenty minutes on the bed, Bing Tianyi's phone rang. Upon answering, Duck Brother directly told him, "Brother Bing, my girlfriend and I are at the company right now. Could you come over? She wants to sign a contract with you."
Hearing this, Bing Tianyi immediately got out of bed. To be honest, after a busy day, he had completely forgotten about signing the contract.
Once he stepped outside, Bing Tianyi saw the old man talking to his father. He approached and smiled, saying, "Dad, I'm heading to the company to sign a contract."
"Go ahead," Father Bing waved and smiled.
Bing Tianyi hurried out but noticed that the old man seemed to be lecturing his father again. However, there was nothing he could do; his father had always shown great respect for these old relatives.
Taking a taxi to the company, Bing Tianyi found Duck Brother and Hu Qin sitting in his office.
As he entered, Duck Brother and Hu Qin stood up. Hu Qin teased Bing Tianyi, "Can I call you Director Hu now?"
"Director Hu is too polite; please have a seat," Bing Tianyi replied with a smile.
Hu Qin sat down on the nearby sofa, took out a folder, opened it, and handed it to Bing Tianyi while saying with a smile, "I've already discussed the contract with other leaders in the bureau. Take a look at the contents; if everything is fine, just sign at the top."
"Could you wait a few minutes? To say something that might make Director Hu laugh, I don't know much about the construction industry, so I plan to let someone else take a look," Bing Tianyi said candidly with a smile.
"Of course," Hu Qin nodded with a smile.
Bing Tianyi smiled at Duck Brother beside him and said, "Duck Brother, could you please go out and ask Manager Mo to come in?"
Duck Brother stood up and left the room. Shortly after, Mo Yonggang entered. Bing Tianyi handed the contract to Mo Yonggang, who, after reviewing it, initially showed a look of surprise, followed by curiosity as he asked, "Is this all the content in the contract?"
"Manager Mo, do you have anything you want to add?" Hu Qin asked with a smile.
"No need. Since you and our General Bing have agreed on the contract terms, there's no need for any modifications," Mo Yonggang quickly replied with a smile.
Although Mo Yonggang said this, he already understood that according to the contract's content, they could continue construction based on the foundation previously built by the Construction Company. Most importantly, the costs incurred for this project would still belong to Bing Tianyi and the Construction Company.
In this way, just from this project alone, they could net over ten million. Fortunately, it was for a school building; if it were commercial property, it could easily exceed one hundred million.
Hearing Mo Yonggang say this, Bing Tianyi took out paper and pen and quickly signed his name. Then he looked at Hu Qin and smiled, "Director Hu, can we start work tomorrow?"
"Of course."
Seeing Hu Qin nod, Bing Tianyi turned to Mo Yonggang beside him and said directly, "Manager Mo, I will leave everything regarding the school to you and Nan Hao. Just handle it well. At year-end, if the profits are good, I will definitely reward you."
"Thank you, General Bing," Mo Yonggang replied with a smile.
Bing Tianyi waved his hand and said with a smile, "Alright then, you can go out now."
After Mo Yonggang left, Bing Tianyi chatted briefly with Hu Qin and Duck Brother before they both left one after another.
Bing Tianyi stepped over to the window and saw that everything at his Construction Company was getting back on track. A successful smile spread across his face. To be honest, he had only felt this way in dreams before; now that his dream had come true, there were times when he found it hard to believe it was real.
Time seemed to fly by while busy at the company. In the blink of an eye, more than half a month had passed. As the first snowflake of early winter fell, Bing Tianyi stepped out of the school gate holding his third monthly exam paper and muttered to himself, "Damn it, first place again! At this rate, am I going to end up at Huqing University?"
Before he finished speaking, Chen Qian quietly approached Bing Tianyi from behind and covered his eyes directly: "Guess who I am?"
"Alright, Qian Qian, stop messing around," Bing Tianyi said without needing to guess.
It had been over ten days since his fasting period ended, and it seemed that during this time, Bing Tianyi had managed to rid himself of many of his bad habits. He had stopped drinking and smoking, but the one thing he couldn't shake off was his attraction to beautiful women.
However, whenever he saw Chen Qian, there was an indescribable feeling of repression in his heart, largely stemming from her first boyfriend.
"That's boring," Chen Qian said as she let go of his hand and glanced at him before striding ahead while muttering.
Curious, Bing Tianyi asked Chen Qian, "What would make it interesting then?"
"How about we go karaoke tonight?" Chen Qian said with her big round eyes, smiling earnestly at him.
Bing Tianyi thought for a moment and nodded, saying, "Sure, then you can call Wu Zhaojun and the others. I'll treat tonight."
"I meant just the two of us. Why invite them?" Chen Qian replied somewhat unhappily.
While Bing Tianyi and Chen Qian were talking, unexpectedly a motorcycle came speeding up from behind Bing Tianyi. Two men wearing helmets were on the bike, and the one sitting at the back held a baseball bat. As they approached Bing Tianyi, the man swung the bat down viciously from above.
Seeing this, Chen Qian didn't have time to think; she pushed Bing Tianyi away and shouted, "Tianyi, watch out!"
By the time Bing Tianyi regained his balance, Chen Qian had already fallen to the ground. He didn't have time to chase after the motorcycle and hurriedly rushed over to Chen Qian, patting her as he asked, "Are you okay? Don't scare me!"
