Su Qin was already feeling displeased with Chen Qian after the last incident. When she saw Bing Tianyi leaving the campus, she felt that her opportunity had come and had nothing to worry about, so she began to take action.
More importantly, she and Qiangzi's friend, Yang Qian, were somewhat close. Over time, Yang Qian had learned about Bing Tianyi's various exploits on campus. As a young troublemaker of similar age to Bing Tianyi, Yang Qian felt that Bing Tianyi's reputation seemed to overshadow her own, which naturally led to feelings of resentment.
After discussing with Su Qin, Yang Qian began to execute her plan.
Just as Yang Qian was starting her actions, Qiangzi inadvertently caught wind of the situation and began to strategize behind Yang Qian's back. The two quickly hit it off, deciding that the inexperienced Su Qin should confront Chen Qian first to provoke a response from Bing Tianyi.
At that point, Yang Qian would step in and take down Bing Tianyi. According to Qiangzi's reasoning, even if Yang Qian ended up in prison for a few years, once she got out, she would be regarded as a big shot in society.
After all, Yang Qian was still a young kid who had no idea about the dangers of the world. Clinging to the dream of becoming a leader, she manipulated Su Qin and Chen Qian to escalate their conflict, leading to the scene unfolding that night.
When Su Qin heard Bing Tianyi's question, she didn't know how to respond. Considering that Yang Qian had already been beaten up by Bing Tianyi's group and even someone like Qiangzi was willing to compromise with Bing Tianyi, how could she—just a high school student—be so arrogant?
After thinking for a moment, Su Qin trembled as she asked Bing Tianyi, "If I tell you the truth, will you let me... let me go?"
Bing Tianyi sighed and looked at Su Qin softly. "Alright, I know what you're thinking. And it's impossible for you alone to cause such a commotion tonight."
Su Qin stood frozen in place, staring intently at Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi leaned against a nearby car and continued speaking to Su Qin. "But remember this for the future: never mix in with trouble at school, especially not for someone like you. Instead of this path, it's better to focus on your studies while you're still young. When you achieve success later on, you'll understand why I'm saying this."
Su Qin was even more confused now; according to her thoughts, it was clearly impossible for her to leave the underground parking lot unscathed tonight.
However, looking at the current scene, it seemed that Bing Tianyi had no intention of harming her or Wang Ziyan at all. Instead, she was earnestly giving them good advice!
As soon as those words were spoken, Chen Qian leaned closer to Bing Tianyi and frowned, asking, "Aren't you going to help me get revenge?"
"Qian Qian, sometimes it's better to let things go. I think I've already given you enough face tonight. They are all girls like you; let's spare them," Bing Tianyi said, holding Chen Qian's shoulders and speaking each word clearly.
After hearing this, Chen Qian glared at Su Qin and the others nearby, then sneered, "Do you really think it's possible for me to let them off tonight?"
"Qian Qian, don't you listen to me?" Bing Tianyi asked with a frown.
Unexpectedly, Chen Qian pushed Bing Tianyi away and stared intently at him, asking, "Why should I listen to you?"
Bing Tianyi was taken aback by Chen Qian's words. He looked at her in surprise for a few seconds before quietly asking, "Qian Qian, what did you say?"
Seeing the expression on Bing Tianyi's face, Chen Qian realized she had misspoken. She frowned in frustration and said to him, "Darling, don't you know what they said in front of me today? If you heard it, I believe you wouldn't let them off so easily."
"I'm very curious about what they said," Bing Tianyi replied sincerely with a genuine smile.
Chen Qian was on the verge of tears; her eyes were filled with water as she choked out, "They said you're a worthless character and that even someone like Mei Fenfeng would be with you. How could I possibly like you?"
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi was stunned. He turned to Su Qin and the others and directly asked, "Which one of you said that?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Su Qin quickly shook her head and said, "It wasn't me; I didn't say that."
"Then who was it?" Bing Tianyi fixed his gaze on Wang Ziyan, who was standing next to Su Qin.
At that moment, Wang Ziyan's face turned pale. However, after hearing Bing Tianyi's question, she coldly replied, "Heh, it was me who said it."
"Why did you say that?" Bing Tianyi asked curiously.
"My mouth is on my face, so I can say whatever I want. What can you do about it?" Wang Ziyan said to Bing Tianyi, her tone steady and deliberate.
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi completely broke down, but he also understood the power of words. Moreover, Wang Ziyan was speaking the truth; he couldn't stop others from talking.
After a moment of reflection, Bing Tianyi tried his best to suppress his anger and said to Wang Ziyan with a smile, "Wang Ziyan, you should think carefully before you speak. And don’t think that just because your father is the richest in the district, you can falsely accuse others."
"Bing Tianyi, as long as you know in your heart," Wang Ziyan replied before turning to leave.
Seeing this, Chen Qian and the others stepped forward to block her. Bing Tianyi sighed and said to his group of friends, "Alright, let them go."
Although Chen Qian was displeased, she knew Bing Tianyi's temperament. At this point, it was clearly impossible for him to teach these girls a lesson.
Watching the girls leave through the door, Bing Tianyi turned to Chen Qian and said seriously, "Qian Qian, let's just forget about today. I believe they won't bother you again easily."
"Then you have to promise me one thing," Chen Qian said with her brows furrowed.
Bing Tianyi smiled casually, "Sure, I'll agree to anything you ask."
"You must not speak another word to Wang Ziyan from now on."
As a girl, Chen Qian had already sensed something was off from Wang Ziyan's gaze. However, she couldn't yet determine what had happened between Bing Tianyi and herself. Still, she felt it was better to bring it up now rather than regret it later when her worst fears came true.
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi wore a helpless smile and said to Chen Qian, "How can I promise you that? If she comes looking for me, am I supposed to pretend I can't see her?"
"You don't love me," Chen Qian said seriously.
Bing Tianyi chuckled bitterly, "Where is that coming from?"
"If you really intend to be with me, then promise me this one thing," Chen Qian said to Bing Tianyi in a domineering manner.
Bing Tianyi smiled helplessly. After seeing the expression on Chen Qian's face, he knew that if he didn't agree to her condition today, she would never let him go.
"Alright, I promise you."
Upon hearing Bing Tianyi's words, a joyful smile instantly appeared on Chen Qian's face. She rushed over and hugged Bing Tianyi, then laughed, "I knew you were the one who loved me the most."
The group of brothers watched the scene before them and felt a bit embarrassed to continue watching. Especially Chen Tian, who had pursued Chen Qian for nearly six months, never expecting that in the end, Bing Tianyi would get ahead of him.
But there was nothing he could do; after all, Bing Tianyi was more capable than he was.
The group chatted in the basement for over an hour. When Bing Tianyi noticed it was getting late, he arranged for a car to take Chen Qian and the others back to school.
After stepping out, he took a bus straight home.
However, he didn’t forget to call Fang Qing to reassure her that he was safe.
For three consecutive days, the matters concerning the Construction Company proceeded in a tense yet orderly manner. Meanwhile, during his free time, Bing Tianyi diligently read the books given to him by the old monk.
On the fourth day at noon, as Bing Tianyi was preparing to head to the west side of the square to set up a stall and earn some money, his phone suddenly rang.
After answering the call, Duck Brother cheerfully said to Bing Tianyi, "Brother Bing, my girlfriend wants to meet you."
Hearing this, Bing Tianyi recalled that he hadn't seen Duck Brother for several days. Now suddenly there was a girlfriend wanting to meet him.
Curious, Bing Tianyi asked Duck Brother, "What does your girlfriend want to see me for?"
"That's the one, have you forgotten?" Duck Brother asked with a smile.
As soon as these words were spoken, Bing Tianyi suddenly remembered and a happy smile appeared on his face. He knew that Duck Brother must have already secured the business deal.
Bing Tianyi was also preparing to open for business the day after tomorrow, which was an auspicious occasion. Now that the business was confirmed, everything was going smoothly, and Bing Tianyi found it hard to believe.
"Alright, you tell me the location, and I'll come right over," Bing Tianyi said with a smile.
"It's still at Golden Flower; we've already reserved the spot, just waiting for you," Duck Brother replied with a grin.
"Okay, then I'll come over with Nan Hao," Bing Tianyi asked.
"No need, just come by yourself," Duck Brother said with a smile.
Seeing Duck Brother's insistence, Bing Tianyi had nothing more to say and replied with a laugh, "Alright, I'll be there soon."
After saying this, Bing Tianyi quickly packed his things. Nearby, Old Li watched this scene with curiosity and asked Bing Tianyi, "Kid, are you planning to leave before even opening today?"
"I'm not doing business today; I'll let you all have this opportunity," Bing Tianyi said while tidying up, smiling at the old man beside him.
The old man wore a bitter smile and sighed, looking at Bing Tianyi with some helplessness. "Kid, don't say that. Ever since you came here, people come looking for you every day. We can't do our business anymore!"
