Nan Hao pondered and quietly asked Bing Tianyi, "What did you say on the phone?"
"Just that I would drop by tonight; I'll explain in detail later," Bing Tianyi replied with a smile.
After staying in the hotel for a while and waiting for the banquet to end, Bing Tianyi just took Nan Hao outside to see off Chen Huaqiang and the others. At that moment, Hazi and Duck Brother were strolling over casually from a distance.
Seeing this, Bing Tianyi waved, and the two quickened their pace. As they reached Bing Tianyi, Duck Brother widened his eyes and asked with a grin, "Brother Bing, do you know who that old man was today?"
"Just an old man," Bing Tianyi teased.
Duck Brother felt a bit frustrated and replied with a wry smile, "We all know he's an old man. Do you know whose family he belongs to?"
"Why don't you tell me?" Bing Tianyi asked nonchalantly.
At this point, Hazi couldn't help but laugh out loud, while Duck Brother sighed and said in a low voice filled with displeasure, "You really lack chemistry."
"What do I need chemistry with an old man like you for? Are you planning to play both sides?" Bing Tianyi asked curiously.
"He's the father of the Director of the Construction Bureau. Also, let me tell you something else: the Director of the Construction Bureau is not only beautiful but also single. She just got divorced not long ago, and she has a daughter who's only two years old this year."
Duck Brother kept chattering on, but now it was Bing Tianyi's turn to be speechless. He stared at Duck Brother with a face full of disbelief. To be honest, it was the first time he had met someone who could gather so much detailed information just from knowing someone's family.
"Duck Brother, are you joking? Where did you learn all this?" Bing Tianyi interrupted him, astonished.
At that moment, Nan Hao also couldn't help but laugh and said, "He probably knows even more."
"Speak, tell me everything you know," Bing Tianyi couldn't help but say to Duck Brother, driven by curiosity.
"Forget it. I have a date with her tonight; I'll let her tell you her situation then," Duck Brother replied with a serious smile, looking at Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi let out a bitter laugh and said to Duck Brother, "If I could find out all this, what would I need you for? But are you kidding me? You're asking her out so soon, do you really think you're the most handsome guy in the world?"
As soon as Bing Tianyi finished speaking, a strange smile appeared on Duck Brother's face. He sighed and said without thinking, "Alright, from now on, don't call me Duck Brother anymore; just call me the Most Handsome Guy in the World."
"Okay, enough joking. I need to know the truth. Director of the Construction Bureau, can you really get her out tonight?" Nan Hao, aware that time was precious for them and that they were in a crucial period for contracting business, asked Duck Brother directly.
Duck Brother frowned and replied to Nan Hao, "I've already arranged it; we'll meet at Starlight Club at seven-thirty tonight."
After Duck Brother finished speaking, Bing Tianyi furrowed his brows tightly. As he moved forward, he quietly asked Nan Hao, "If that's the case, I think it might be a bit troublesome. I'm also supposed to meet Ouyang Xukong tonight. If we can get their director from the Construction Bureau here, then regarding business matters..."
Before Bing Tianyi could finish his sentence, Duck Brother chimed in with a laugh, "Big Brother, if you trust me on this, leave it to me. I guarantee that within two days, I'll bring over all of Big Head's previous business."
"Can you guarantee that?" Bing Tianyi asked seriously.
Before Duck Brother could respond, Nan Hao whispered, "Don't worry about that. Duck Brother may not be reliable when dealing with men, but when it comes to a woman, he’s foolproof."
"If that's the case, then I'll leave Big Head's previous business to you. You must bring it over. As for how to do it, just figure it out yourself. Also, if you need money, just let me know," Bing Tianyi said earnestly to Duck Brother.
Duck Brother nodded and cheerfully replied, "Brother Bing, don't worry too much about the money for now. We're a team now; since we're just getting started, let's save where we can. As for methods, don't worry; just adding another bed will solve this problem."
"Come on, be reliable; this is serious," Bing Tianyi said after Duck Brother finished speaking, completely speechless and smiling wryly.
Duck Brother grinned mischievously and murmured, "Dealing with men requires fists; dealing with women requires a big bed. That's my principle for getting things done."
Nan Hao took out his phone to check the time and quickly said to Duck Brother, "Alright, it's getting late. You should head out soon. Remember to call if anything comes up."
Duck Brother nodded in agreement and turned to walk away. At that moment, Nan Hao looked at Bing Tianyi and said seriously, "Brother Bing, I estimate that Mo Yonggang will be back soon as well. How about you take the Rat to look for Ouyang Xukong tonight? I'll go meet Mo Yonggang for now. It would be best to bring the original team from Big Head Construction Company along."
"Alright, you go ahead," Bing Tianyi nodded with a smile.
In truth, Bing Tianyi felt a bit uncertain about going alone to Ouyang Xukong's club. However, if he brought the Rat along, he could confidently enter without worry.
Once Nan Hao left, Bing Tianyi took the Rat and headed straight for Ouyang Xukong's club by taxi.
In just a few minutes, they arrived at the entrance. After getting out of the car, Bing Tianyi turned to the Rat and said with a smile, "Brother, don't act impulsively once we go in; just follow my lead."
The Rat grinned and nodded in agreement. As soon as Bing Tianyi entered the door, the Rat followed closely behind.
However, Bing Tianyi was surprised to find that there were hardly any people inside after entering. It seemed that everyone present were staff members of the club.
When they saw Bing Tianyi enter with only the Rat, the staff stopped what they were doing and stared intently at him.
Seeing this made Bing Tianyi feel an uneasy premonition.
"Brother Bing, our boss is waiting for you inside. But he only allows you to go in alone," a young man approached and whispered to Bing Tianyi.
As soon as he finished speaking, the Rat asked sharply, "Not letting me in? Are you planning to leave me outside to teach you a lesson?"
Hearing the Rat's words, the staff members lowered their heads in silence.
Bing Tianyi smiled at the Rat and quietly said, "It's fine; just wait outside for a bit while I go take a look."
"Brother Bing, I'm always a bit worried when you go in alone," Mouse said as he approached Bing Tianyi, his voice filled with concern.
Of course, for Mouse, if anything happened to Bing Tianyi, it would mean he wouldn't be around much longer either. So from another perspective, protecting Bing Tianyi was also protecting his own life.
"Don't worry, they wouldn't dare do anything to me," Bing Tianyi replied confidently.
Mouse could only nod in agreement.
Bing Tianyi stepped forward and walked from the club lobby to Ouyang Xukong's room. After knocking on the door, Ouyang Xukong called out softly from inside, "Come in, the door is open."
Bing Tianyi pushed the door open. Just like that day, Ouyang Xukong was still hitting the punching bag nearby. However, upon Bing Tianyi's entrance, Ouyang Xukong immediately stopped.
"Brother Bing, I didn't expect you to come so early," Ouyang Xukong said with a smile.
Noticing the scars on Ouyang Xukong's face, Bing Tianyi nodded and then curiously asked, "Brother Ouyang, what happened to your face?"
"Heh heh, didn't your underlings tell you?" Ouyang Xukong sneered at Bing Tianyi.
Hearing this, Bing Tianyi was even more confused. He stared blankly at Ouyang Xukong before finally asking, "My underlings? Are you talking about Mouse?"
"Alright, since you're here, I'll be straightforward. My club definitely plans to keep running in the future, but only if you agree to let Mouse come to my club as a coach. Then I'll agree to work with you," Ouyang Xukong stated plainly.
In fact, what Bing Tianyi didn't know was that Mouse had been coming to the club during his free time to challenge others. Over several days, he had already injured eighty percent of the training staff at the club, including Ouyang Xukong himself.
Reluctantly, in order for the club's business to continue, Ouyang Xukong had no choice but to put forth this condition.
Bing Tianyi thought for a moment and then curiously asked Ouyang Xukong, "How much time does a coach spend each day?"
"From eight to ten in the evening, two hours, with a monthly salary of four thousand five hundred," Ouyang Xukong said to Bing Tianyi.
Bing Tianyi thought for a moment; after all, Mouse was just one of his subordinates, and he had no authority to decide what Mouse should do. With this in mind, Bing Tianyi replied to Ouyang Xukong, "I think I should ask Mouse for his opinion."
"Sure," Ouyang Xukong nodded in agreement.
Bing Tianyi went out and found Mouse, bringing him into the room. Once inside, Ouyang Xukong noticed that Mouse seemed a bit timid and immediately asked, "Brother Mouse, did Brother Bing tell you about what just happened?"
Mouse frowned and asked, "What happened?"
At this moment, Ouyang Xukong stopped speaking and simply glanced at Bing Tianyi.
Seeing this, Bing Tianyi smiled at Mouse and said, "Actually, it's nothing important. Ouyang plans to have you work as a coach at his club for two hours every day, with a monthly salary of four thousand five hundred."
For Mouse, returning to his old profession was the most comfortable option. After all, he had been doing this for many years. Suddenly switching to another industry felt unfamiliar and created an imbalance in his mindset.
Once Bing Tianyi finished speaking, he looked at Bing Tianyi awkwardly and asked, "Brother Bing, do you think I can do it?"
From Mouse's expression, Bing Tianyi could tell that deep down, he still wanted to pursue this line of work. With that in mind, Bing Tianyi smiled and said, "What's wrong with that? It's only two hours every night from eight to ten. If you want to do it, go ahead."
Upon hearing this, Mouse quickly nodded and smiled, saying, "Alright then, I accept."
