Seeing Bing Tianyi say this, Nan Hao frowned and was about to continue asking. Unexpectedly, Bing Tianyi's phone suddenly rang. After answering the call, Chen Huaqiang on the other end said directly, "Tianyi, come to Golden Flower. I'll be waiting for you on the second floor."
Bing Tianyi curiously asked, "Is there something going on?"
"I'll tell you when you get here," Chen Huaqiang replied with a smile.
Although Bing Tianyi felt a bit puzzled, he still followed Chen Huaqiang's instructions and hurried to Golden Flower with Nan Hao and Duck Brother.
On the bus, Bing Tianyi sat at the back. After about three or four minutes of travel, the bus arrived at a stop where seven or eight people got on. The last person to board was an elderly man who looked quite normal and was dressed well.
After getting on the bus, the old man surprisingly did not pay and went straight to sit down in the empty seat in front of Bing Tianyi. The driver, seeing this, unhappily shouted, "Hey old man, why didn't you pay?"
Hearing this, the old man looked at the driver with a pitiful expression and said, "I'm looking for my son; he's gone missing."
Upon hearing this, the driver pressed the accelerator, causing the bus to lurch forward as he coldly mocked the old man, "Old man, how did you end up looking for your son on a bus? And by the way, this costs money! It's just one dollar."
As soon as he finished speaking, Bing Tianyi took a dollar out of his pocket and handed it to Duck Brother.
Duck Brother took the money and walked to the front. Just after he paid, the driver jokingly said, "Old man, stop looking; your son just helped you pay."
Hearing this made the passengers on the bus burst into laughter. After hearing this, Duck Brother looked at the driver and asked, "What did you just say?"
"What? Are you not that old man's son?" The driver asked playfully while driving.
To prevent any unexpected incidents, Bing Tianyi quickly called out to Duck Brother, "Brother, come here."
Duck Brother frowned and glared at the driver. As he turned to leave, he suddenly stopped and asked the driver, "How old is your daughter?"
The driver was a middle-aged man in his forties. Upon hearing "Duck Brother," he momentarily didn't react and casually replied, "Fifteen." However, after saying this, he looked at "Duck Brother" with curiosity and asked, "Why do you want to know that?"
"Father-in-law, when can I marry your daughter?" "Duck Brother" suddenly said to the driver.
With that one sentence, the driver instantly became furious. Just as they reached a stop, he parked the car and got up to charge towards "Duck Brother."
Seeing this, "Duck Brother" continued to smile and asked, "Father-in-law, what are you planning to do? Do you want to fight me?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the rat and Nan Hao sitting in the back stood up and walked straight towards the driver. The driver realized that he might end up on the losing side.
Just as he was about to take action against "Duck Brother," he turned around and shouted at the old man in the car, "Get out!"
The old man, hearing this, pitifully continued to plead with the driver, "I want to find my son."
"You old fool! You want a free ride without paying? Do you believe I’ll call the police right now?" The driver yelled from inside the car.
Bing Tianyi was also somewhat angry, but he knew that Chen Huaqiang was still waiting for him at the restaurant. If he took too long, it wouldn't be good. Considering this, Bing Tianyi could only helplessly say to Nan Hao, "We should get out first."
Nan Hao nodded and stepped forward to help the old man up, softly saying, "We'll take you to find your son."
The old man clearly suffered from dementia; upon hearing Nan Hao's words, he nodded and started walking down from the car. Meanwhile, the driver was still shouting from inside.
As "Duck Brother" saw this scene while getting out of the car, he didn't forget to turn around and smile at the driver, saying, "Father-in-law, I'll bring two bottles of good wine to propose someday."
The driver completely lost it and began cursing at "Duck Brother."
"Duck Brother" laughed dismissively. After helping the old man out of the car, Bing Tianyi smiled at the rat and "Duck Brother," saying, "You two try to find the old man's family. Nan Hao and I will go handle some matters at the restaurant. If you find us before we come out, just come look for us."
Duck Brother nodded in agreement. Seeing that it was getting late, Bing Tianyi hurriedly took Nan Hao to the hotel.
Upon arriving at the entrance of Golden Flower, Bing Tianyi quickly dialed Chen Huaqiang's number. Once the call connected, Chen Huaqiang clarified the room number. By the time Bing Tianyi and Nan Hao reached the door, Chen Huaqiang had already come out to greet them.
Seeing Bing Tianyi, Chen Huaqiang smiled and asked, "Why did it take you so long?"
"There was a slight delay on the road. What brings you here today, Uncle?" Bing Tianyi asked with a smile.
Without much thought, Chen Huaqiang replied, "Let's go inside and talk."
Once they entered with Chen Huaqiang, they were surprised to find a young and beautiful woman sitting in the private room. She had long flowing hair, big eyes, and wore glasses. She looked delicate, and when Bing Tianyi walked in, her expression changed from surprise to curiosity as she stood up and asked, "Are you Bing Tianyi?"
"Just call me Bing Tianyi; I really can't accept being called 'President Bing,'" he said with a smile.
Hearing this, Chen Huaqiang chuckled and introduced her: "This is Murong Qing, Qian Qian's cousin. She graduated from Finance University and hasn't found a job yet. I thought she could help manage the finances for your Construction Company."
Upon hearing this from Chen Huaqiang, Bing Tianyi quickly responded with a smile, "That would be perfect; I'm currently worried about the lack of personnel."
Murong Qing nodded with a smile. After Bing Tianyi finished speaking, she quietly asked, "When can the Construction Company be established?"
"I'm planning to meet with a brother who previously worked as the manager of a Construction Company this afternoon to discuss specific matters. But it should be within this recent period," he replied.
"Have you registered with the industrial and commercial bureau yet?" Chen Huaqiang asked curiously.
"Not yet."
"You should register with the industrial and commercial bureau first; otherwise, it will waste a few days of time. You can use these days to handle other matters," Chen Huaqiang advised directly.
"Well, I know very little about these matters, and it really feels quite challenging," Bing Tianyi said with a wry smile.
Chen Huaqiang lowered his head in thought. After a few seconds, he looked at Bing Tianyi and said seriously, "How about this? You can hand over the external matters to Nan Hao and let Murong Qing handle the financial side. They can take care of things for now. You should go directly to the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and see if you can get those projects under Big Head's control moved over."
"I was thinking the same thing. Running around alone feels like a waste of time," Bing Tianyi replied helplessly.
Chen Huaqiang nodded in agreement and added, "Wasting time is a minor issue; what I'm really worried about is that if we don't finalize this deal quickly, someone else might snatch it away from us."
"Surely no one would steal this deal, right? After all, a third of it has already been built," Nan Hao asked curiously.
At that moment, Chen Huaqiang bluntly stated, "You only know part of the story. As far as I know, we're not the only ones eyeing this deal. Qiangzi and another person are also interested. It seems Qiangzi has recently contacted a construction company in the city to prepare to bid for this deal. As for the other person, I've inquired around but no one knows who is behind it. All I know is that someone named Qi Xin is involved."
"Could it be someone related to Master Qi?" Upon hearing the name Qi Xin, Bing Tianyi immediately thought of Master Qi.
However, Chen Huaqiang frowned and sighed, "It shouldn't be him, right? Although Master Qi has made quite a bit of money from fortune-telling in the county over the years, he wouldn't have that much money to invest in such a large project. "Then you'll need to put in more effort. This is the address of the Director of the Construction Bureau; you should go find him based on what's written here. If it doesn't work out, you can have Shi Tao accompany you," Chen Huaqiang suggested for safety's sake.
Upon hearing this, Bing Tianyi nodded and said, "Alright then, I'll go look for Director Zhong this afternoon."
After saying that, Bing Tianyi continued speaking to Nan Hao beside him: "Brother Nan Hao, when Mo Yonggang returns this afternoon, you should discuss the specific details with him."
Nan Hao nodded in agreement. At that moment, Murong Qing smiled and said, "It seems like I don't have much to do these days?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Bing Tianyi laughed and replied, "How could you possibly have nothing to do? For the next couple of days, focus on bookkeeping. Record our daily expenses first; I'm not quite sure how to handle it either, so just manage it as you see fit."
"Alright, starting today we will operate uniformly. Whoever needs money can come to me with a receipt for reimbursement," Murong Qing said with a smile.
Bing Tianyi nodded in agreement and continued speaking to Nan Hao beside him, "Brother Nan, this is how it will be from now on. After you're done, please tell Duck Brother and the Rat about it."
As soon as he finished speaking, Nan Hao nodded and said, "Don't worry, Brother Bing, I know what to do."
Bing Tianyi smiled and nodded. Just then, unexpectedly, his phone rang. When he answered the call, he was surprised to find that it was Ouyang Xukong on the other end.
"Is this Brother Bing?" Ouyang Xukong asked directly.
Bing Tianyi responded with a smile, curious as he asked Ouyang Xukong, "What can I do for you, Brother Ouyang?"
Upon hearing this, Ouyang Xukong quietly asked Bing Tianyi, "I wonder if Brother Bing has time tonight? If so, could you come by my little shop for a moment?"
"Is there something you need to discuss, Brother Ouyang?" Bing Tianyi continued to inquire.
Ouyang Xukong chuckled softly and replied, "It's nothing major, just a small matter I'd like to talk to you about."
After thinking for a moment, Bing Tianyi nodded and smiled, "Alright then, I'll definitely come by tonight."
After hanging up the phone, Bing Tianyi looked at Nan Hao and smiled, saying, "It seems like things are moving forward with Ouyang Xukong."
