"What did you say? You saw him yesterday morning?" Qin Qi asked, staring intently at Bing Tianyi. 0

Bing Tianyi showed no hesitation and replied directly to Qin Qi, "Everything I said is true." 0

Seeing the serious expression on Bing Tianyi's face, Qin Qi furrowed his brows. Suddenly, the Male Officer stood up, glaring at Bing Tianyi and shouted angrily, "Kid, don't think that just because you're young I won't lay a hand on you. I advise you to be sensible and honestly explain the details of this matter. If we find out that this has anything to do with you, I will definitely..." 0

Before the Male Officer could finish his sentence, Qin Qi interjected, "Alright, Xiao Tian, stop shouting for now." 0

After saying this, Qin Qi continued to focus on Bing Tianyi and asked, "Now, tell me what happened yesterday morning." 0

Bing Tianyi was somewhat worried about being hit; after all, he had heard rumors about this matter. So when he heard Qin Qi's inquiry, he seriously recounted what had happened the previous morning. 0

After listening, Qin Qi's expression didn't change much, but the Male Officer reacted differently. He first sneered at Qin Qi and then exaggeratedly widened his eyes as he sternly asked Bing Tianyi, "Kid, who do you think will believe your nonsense? You became this old monk's disciple yesterday morning? Is this old monk supposed to turn into a ghost or something?" 0

"Ghost? That shouldn't be the case," Bing Tianyi said based on his intuition. 0

"Then what do you think it is?" 0

"I think it's Old Immortal," Bing Tianyi replied earnestly. 0

Xiao Tian sneered even more and said, "Come on, stand up." 0

As he spoke, Xiao Tian strode aggressively toward Bing Tianyi. Sensing the situation was turning unfavorable, Bing Tianyi immediately cast an innocent look toward Qin Qi. 0

Qin Qi saw this and immediately stood up, waving to Xiao Tian, saying, "Alright, if the recording is done, let's leave." 0

Xiao Tian stopped and, feeling somewhat helpless, said to Qin Qi, "Captain Qin, I think this kid definitely has something going on. Why don't I ask him a few questions?" 0

"No need," Qin Qi replied as he picked up his belongings and prepared to walk out the door. 0

Bing Tianyi, who was starving, saw the two preparing to leave and quickly asked in a low voice, "Could you please give me something to eat? I haven't eaten anything all day." 0

Upon hearing this, Xiao Tian sneered, "Serves you right if you starve!" 0

Qin Qi, however, remained silent. He just glanced at Xiao Tian and then quietly said, "Don't worry, someone will come to bring you food soon." 0

After hearing this, Bing Tianyi felt a surge of gratitude. 0

Before long, a Junior Officer arrived at the Detention Room carrying several buns and a bottle of mineral water. After dropping off the items, the Male Officer looked at Bing Tianyi with a strange smile and said, "I heard you're quite the storyteller for such a little guy?" 0

Bing Tianyi knew exactly what the officer was referring to and could only respond with a bitter smile, "I really didn't tell any stories; everything I said was true." 0

"Do you know that according to our police assessment, that old monk has been dead for at least a week? Yet you claim you became his disciple just yesterday," the officer laughed. 0

"Believe it or not," Bing Tianyi sighed helplessly as he stuffed a bun into his mouth. 0

The Junior Officer could only smile helplessly, shake his head, and sigh as he walked out. 0

Bing Tianyi had spent the entire night in the cramped Detention Room. 0

The next morning, it was still Qin Qi and the same Male Officer who stepped through the door. After entering, they resumed the same questions as yesterday. Once they finished asking, the two said little else and left through the door. 0

At noon, these two repeated what they had done the previous afternoon and morning, continuing to ask questions. Bing Tianyi, being straightforward, recounted everything that had happened to him. 0

For a full two days, Bing Tianyi lost count of how many times he had been interrogated. It wasn't until noon on the third day that he finally received notice of his release from the police station. 0

Once outside, Bing Tianyi suddenly felt a wave of relaxation wash over him. Standing at the entrance of the Public Security Bureau were Father Bing and Mother Bing. When they saw their son being released, tears of joy welled up in their eyes. However, there was still a hint of worry in their expressions. 0

Seeing this, Bing Tianyi quickly approached and smiled at his parents, saying, "Mom and Dad, I told you not to worry." 0

"You really have me at a loss," Bing Tianyi's Father sighed. 0

Mother Bing, with tears streaming down her face, embraced her son tightly. 0

After reuniting as a family of three, they took a bus toward Huating County's West Street Double Bridge. Noticing that his parents were not heading toward their rental apartment, Bing Tianyi curiously asked, "Mom and Dad, where are we going?" 0

Upon hearing this, Mother Bing sighed helplessly and replied, "The landlord asked us to move out. Your dad and I just moved everything here this morning." 0

Bing Tianyi furrowed his brows slightly as he recalled that he had lived near Double Bridge for six months before. Drawing on his past memories, he looked into the distance and then set off directly toward the rental apartment his parents had mentioned. 0
