Chapter 262: Space is a Relative Perception
At this point in our discussion, we have used Spatial Physics to support the existence of Buddha and Bodhisattva and Buddha Realm. However, there remains a crucial question to be addressed: Do humans have souls? Do animals have souls? Do microorganisms have souls?
Recent analyses in quantum mechanics suggest that human thought may be composed of Quantum Waves. Quantum Waves are constant and are the source of Cosmic Information. The Quantum Wave of a person, shaped by all experiences, thoughts, actions, and consciousness throughout different times and spaces, forms the soul.
The occurrences of Reincarnation around the world serve as compelling evidence for the existence of souls. Such events have been documented with significant authority both in ancient and modern times, and are not fabrications.
Scientists have statistically analyzed reports of reincarnation phenomena from various regions worldwide. They found that individuals involved come from different countries and cultural backgrounds, are unfamiliar with one another, and number in the thousands. Therefore, it is impossible and unnecessary for them to collude to fabricate a grand lie.
Additionally, scientists have been unable to unravel the mystery of the Near-Death Experience phenomenon.
Near-Death Experience, which refers to profound subjective experiences reported by individuals who have suffered severe trauma or serious illness but unexpectedly recovered, occurs when death seems imminent. Many in the scientific community believe that studying human Consciousness is one of science's final challenges. The question of how Consciousness disappears—especially regarding “Near-Death Experience”—remains an enigma. Consequently, the occurrence of death and “Near-Death Experience” has become a focal point for research across biology, medicine, psychology, and philosophy.
China has also initiated research on “Near-Death Experience”.
Recent reports from the medical field indicate that Tianjin Anding Hospital has conducted research on “Near-Death Experience” from a scientific perspective for the first time in our country. They believe that “Near-Death Experience” is a universal phenomenon but manifests differently among ethnic groups due to social psychology and cultural factors. The main experiential stages reported by Chinese individuals who have undergone “Near-Death Experience” include: Life Review, Separation of Consciousness and Body, Physical Anomaly, World Destruction Sensation, Death Paradox, Time Stopping Sensation, and Emotional Loss, among others.
Of course, due to various reasons, research on “Near-Death Experience” in China lags many years behind that in other countries, where it has long been recognized as an important topic in life sciences.
A report on a “Death Experiment”:
According to foreign sources, a “Death Experiment” was conducted in Germany, involving 42 young and healthy male and female Volunteers.
The method of the "Death Experiment" is quite simple: using drugs to place 42 volunteers in a state of complete unconsciousness similar to death.
In the brief span of 22 seconds, the volunteers each experienced different phenomena—
Some saw colorful lights;
Some saw friends and family;
Some perceived their own "soul" glowing blue as it "escaped" from their bodies;
Some witnessed a glowing "tunnel."
It is noteworthy that similar "Death Experiments" are not unprecedented. American Heart Disease Expert Michael Sabom also organized an event called "Hell Examination," which involved using drugs to induce deep comas in some individuals, followed by high-level resuscitation. The experiences of these individuals were similar to the results of the aforementioned experiment.
The five stages of "Near-Death Experience":
Psychologist Kenneth Ring has categorized human "Near-Death Experiences" into five stages recognized by academia—
First Stage: Peacefulness and relaxation, with about 57% of respondents reporting this feeling;
Second Stage: Consciousness "escaping" the body, experienced by approximately 35%;
Third Stage: Passing through a "black hole," felt by about 23%;
Fourth Stage: Gathering with family and friends, all of them tall and majestic, colorful and radiant, like angels;
Fifth Stage: Merging with the universe.

Although we all know of the existence of the soul, this still needs to be said. Well, let us continue our journey of the soul...
Some may raise the question: Since Buddha's Land and Buddha Realm have been proven to exist, and Buddha and Bodhisattva also exist, now that the existence of the soul has been confirmed, how can we possibly reach the Western Paradise, which is said in the Amitabha Sutra to be 1.27 x 10^19 light-years away from Earth, a distance that is 128.8 billion times greater than that from Earth to the Pure Land?

Einstein's second formula of Relativity:
Relative Length Formula L = Lo * √(1 - v^2/c^2)
Lo is the length of an object at rest, L is the length of an object in motion, v is the speed of the object, and c is the Light Speed. From this, we can see that as speed increases, the length of an object compresses; when an object moves at Light Speed, its length in the direction of motion becomes zero.
The reasoning is simple. For example, Mars is about 120 million kilometers away from Earth. Currently, the most advanced spacecraft takes several years to reach it. However, when you think about Mars with your mind's brainwaves, your thoughts have already arrived there; in other words, your Quantum Wave has reached Mars. Do not mock this "Ah Q fantasy" theory; it is very scientific. This is why it is often said in orthodox teachings that frequently reciting the name of Amitabha Buddha can help one be reborn in the Pure Land. This is also why high monks who meditate and practice Zen find it easier to be reborn in different Buddha's Lands. This occurs because the soul (Quantum Wave) establishes a connection with Buddha's Land and Buddha and Bodhisattva, allowing it to arrive instantaneously.
Hawking's theories on spatial physics and Einstein's Relativity both prove that space-time can be warped and folded. You may have played a physics game asking what the shortest distance between two points on a piece of paper is. Some say it’s a straight line between those two points; that’s incorrect! The true shortest distance is achieved by folding the paper so that the two points coincide.
People tend to overly trust what they can see; however, just because you cannot see something at present does not mean you can deny its existence. For instance, before humans discovered neutrons and electrons within matter, could you claim that neutrons and electrons did not exist in the world?
So, how do humans and the universe form?
1. Relative Velocity Formula: △v = |v1 - v2| / √(1 - v1v2/c^2)
2. Relative Length Formula: L = Lo * √(1 - v^2/c^2)
3. Relative Mass Formula: M = Mo / √(1 - v^2/c^2)
4. Relative Time Formula: t = to * √(1 - v^2/c^2)
5. Mass-Energy Equation: E = mc^2
The Relative Time Formula indicates that to is the rate of time flow when an object is at rest, t is the rate of time flow when the object is in motion, v is the object's speed, and c is the speed of light.
From this, it can be understood that the greater the speed, the slower time passes for the object. When an object moves at the speed of light, time for that object ceases to flow, effectively stopping time. If one exceeds the speed of light, time could theoretically reverse; this implies a possibility of returning to the past.
Therefore, it can be concluded that time and space are both relative concepts and do not truly exist; they are a form of relative perception.
