Chapter 260: Illusory World
"We are not promoting Buddhism, nor are we believers. What I am about to say is from an objective perspective. Regardless of whether they are legends or superstitions, they all evolve from truths. The mysteries within can only be pondered by oneself; no one will lay the truth bare before you..." Xiao Zian said seriously.
Bai Gu Fei also smiled, "I know you might question that this is merely a metaphor based on a feeling, but a dream is a dream, and reality is reality!"
Xiao Zian continued, "However, the latest research in Spatial Physics by Nobel Prize winner Hawking Professor proves that this universe is composed of multidimensional space and time. The world we live in is a Four-Dimensional Space, made up of time and three-dimensional space. Hawking Professor's research also tells us that you and I are actually projections from a higher-dimensional space, mapped into our Four-Dimensional World. These projections are essentially illusory bodies, not our true selves! This aligns with what Buddhism says about our 'True Nature' and 'True Self' not being part of the Six Paths of Reincarnation, while the 'True Self' exists in another space or a higher-dimensional realm. Therefore, the human world we inhabit is merely a 'Relative Material Space'!"
"The arguments above use Hawking Professor's perspective in Spatial Physics to demonstrate that the world we live in is an illusory one, while also proving that Buddha's Land corresponds to the higher-dimensional space described in Spatial Physics. However, we must correctly understand the true meaning behind the Buddhist scriptures that tell us this world is an illusory Realm: on one hand, it encourages everyone to see through and let go of attachments; on the other hand, it urges us to live freely and joyfully, not to be hindered by troubles. Although life is a grand dream, we should cherish life and strive to make this dream a beautiful one rather than a nightmare!"

Indeed, the Anti-Buddhist was partially correct because the images of deities across different regions have evolved under the influence of their respective historical cultures.
For example: there are significant differences in the images of deities between mainstream Buddhism and Tantric Buddhism; Allah in Islam and Taishang Laojun in Taoism clearly reflect the evolution of their respective cultural images; even Guanyin Bodhisattva in Buddhism has transformed from a male figure to a female figure as human culture developed. However, these changes do not negate the existence of Buddha and Bodhisattva or other deities! Why?
Because Buddhist scriptures never claimed that Buddha and Bodhisattva have specific forms; rather, they state that Buddha and Bodhisattva do not have concrete images but are formless entities. From a scientific perspective, this can be interpreted as a type of indescribable material composite. Yet this composite is not akin to aliens from science fiction (advanced extraterrestrial civilizations are merely another human realm or what might be called heavenly realms or civilizations from higher dimensions).

Therefore, there exists a distortion of time and space, which means we cannot measure extremely distant spacetime phenomena using the theoretical distances and spaces we experience in our reality because the spacetime beyond extreme distances cannot be compared to or understood through the physical imagination represented by our Four-Dimensional Space.
So, in a certain sense, that is also a higher-dimensional world achieved through the transformation of spacetime distortion. The mysterious composite of matter like Buddha and Bodhisattva does not exist on the same plane of time as our Four-Dimensional Space, while the souls of humanity (the quantum composite of thought) have a direct connection to the high Dimensional Space of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Therefore, the divine beings of Buddha and Bodhisattva cannot simply be equated with extraterrestrial highly advanced civilizations.
Then you might deduce that since science proves there are different spaces and also highly advanced civilizations like Buddha and Bodhisattva, it implies that Deities exist. But why are there so many disasters in the world? Why did Deities not manifest during events like the Second World War to prevent this human catastrophe?
Isn't it said that the divine beings of Buddha and Bodhisattva are here to relieve suffering?
In fact, if everyone delves deeper into Spatial Physics and quantum mechanics, they will understand the reasoning behind this.
This mysterious composite of matter in higher-dimensional space (such as Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, deities, etc.) can traverse spacetime below its dimensionality through certain channels. For example, Hawking Professor mentions in his "A Brief History of Time" that ants live in a two-dimensional space relative to them; in their perception, their world is flat with no concept or sensation of three dimensions, let alone a concept of a time dimension.
Thus, humans living in Four-Dimensional Space can understand and perceive everything about the two-dimensional space where ants live. Similarly, super life forms existing in higher-dimensional spaces above what humans currently live or perceive can see our Four-Dimensional Space beings and influence our lives and destinies. They can even traverse different Dimensional Spaces to arrive at Four-Dimensional Space, but such traversal and influence are very difficult and limited.
