Chapter 246: How Ignorant Are We?
Perhaps it is our fear of no longer being unique, our worry of being just a drop in the ocean, that leads us to overlook other lives that share this planet with us. We feel no qualms about slaughtering pigs, cows, chickens, or even strangers from other countries, yet we cannot bear to see our neighbors, cats, and dogs—those we understand and love—be harmed.
We claim that other beings are foolish, yet we point our guns at them to justify our actions. But just because killing is within our capabilities and often accompanies us, does that make it justified? Or does it merely reflect how ignorant we truly are?
Our actions often carry a primitive aggression rather than the reason and compassion expected of civilized beings.
One day, this perception known as life will leave us. Our bodies will decay, and our possessions will fade into memory. Everything from yesterday remains unchanged; death constantly surrounds us yet seems distant from our daily lives. We live in a world on the brink of collapse, where tomorrow's wars will have no victors because violence can never be the answer. Violence only destroys every possible answer.
If everyone could take a moment to examine their innermost desires, they would find that our dreams are not so vastly different. We all share a common goal—happiness. In pursuit of material pleasures, we have torn this world apart but have never attempted to look within ourselves. The happiest people often possess the least material wealth. Will having an iPhone, a mansion, or a luxury car truly make us happy?
The divide between people grows deeper, leading us to idolize those we have never met. We witness great deeds on screens while living mundane lives ourselves. We wait for others to change the world without ever considering changing ourselves. Presidential elections are like flipping a coin; regardless of which side lands up, it is still the same coin. We choose the side we want as if participating in some form of change and choice. Yet the world remains unchanged; we lack the consciousness to realize that statesmen do not serve us; they merely serve their sponsors. What we need are leaders, not statesmen. But in this world filled with followers, we forget to be our own leaders.
Stop waiting for change to come; create the change you wish to see. Everything we have today did not come about by merely sitting back and watching. Human survival is not due to our speed or strength but because we understand cooperation. We have mastered the art of killing; now we should learn the beauty of life. This is not about saving the Earth because whether we save it or not, it will continue to exist. The Earth has existed for billions of years; each of us is fortunate to live for over 80 years. We are merely a fleeting moment in the river of time, yet our impact can be eternal.
I often wish I lived in an era before computers and the internet were established so that we would not be distracted by chaotic information. However, I realize that there is a reason I want to live in this present time. Today we have unprecedented opportunities—the internet allows us to share information and unite millions across the globe. While there is still time, we must use the internet to bring us closer together rather than push us further apart.
Regardless of good or bad, our generation will determine the future of this planet. We can either continue serving this self-destructive system until all traces of our existence vanish or awaken to realize that we are not evolving forward but continuously declining. We place electronic screens before our eyes so that we cannot see the path ahead.
Every step taken in the past, every breath drawn, every death has led the world to this moment.
All the predecessors have shaped our present.
Now it's our turn.
You can choose to carve your own path or continue down the countless roads taken by those before you.

After watching, I was left with a mix of shock and reflection. The video expressed ideas that closely resembled the clues I had gathered before, and it elaborated on them in detail.
It turns out that our lives are pre-planned: studying, working, raising families. We think we are special, but in reality, we are not much different from one another. We only love the animals we cherish while casually slaughtering other inhabitants of this planet without a second thought. We believe technology is advancing, yet we fail to realize that it is actually a regression for humanity. Our so-called "intelligence" is the fundamental cause of our eventual demise. Perhaps this video resonates deeply with us, but maybe by the next day, we will return to that controlled world without any significant change...
I had known all this for a long time, yet each time I learn it again, I am still profoundly shocked! "Why show me this?" I held my phone tightly in my hand, feeling even more conflicted. I knew I had been affected by this video; I should be more rational, yet I couldn't help but feel emotional because I am still a relatively normal person...
I thought Divine Hand had fallen asleep, but unexpectedly he said, "I think you will need it."
