After waiting for another day, we finally emerged from the Tomb Hole, but the scene before us left us at a loss...
Due to the heavy rain that had poured all night, the already damp and muddy soil resembled a vast black swamp! The trees that had long since rotted away were completely devastated by yesterday's wind and rain, broken and battered, a truly tragic sight!
Reluctantly, we stayed another day. Our injuries had mostly healed, and Lime, who had been severely injured, was now lively again, though he neither bounced nor jumped.
Three days later, we set sail again, our destination—Mountain Ghost!

“Not good! Mountain Ghost might have gone to the Village!” I shouted as I pushed myself to run faster.
The sun was setting, casting a crimson glow across half the sky, as if narrating a tragedy. I was sweating profusely; not to mention Rophie and Tong Qi, many people in the Village were ordinary folks with no means to defend themselves. If Mountain Ghost rampaged through there, many could die... Ultimately, we were the culprits behind this disaster! Although it was only a matter of time before Mountain Ghost entered the village, our arrival had hastened it.
If Mountain Ghost hadn’t been so severely injured, if I hadn’t chosen to kill it at the last moment of crisis, if I had decided to descend during the heavy rain, perhaps Mountain Ghost wouldn’t have come down at all. If they all died, I would hate myself for life!
Finally, we reached the foot of the mountain and arrived at Little Yellow Village—completely deserted...
We passed through a small grove and arrived at Dahuang Village. The journey was eerily silent; not a sound could be heard—deadly stillness.
“Look, there are no corpses on the road; maybe they’re all alive,” Xianxian said as she patted my shoulder.
I nodded, hoping that the heavy rain had been a stroke of luck that allowed the villagers to escape disaster. “Pair up and search separately; don’t reveal your weapons unless absolutely necessary.” With that parting remark, I dashed off with Lime accompanying me.
Naturally, I headed toward where Mountain Ghost was likely located. We all understood that splitting up was essential to find any fortunate villagers and my friends while also being cautious of any remaining Three Yellow Cult members!
“Master, it’s over there,” Little Black said just as I tossed it into The Dead. Drawing my sword, Lime and I cautiously moved forward side by side.
Ahead lay a Xiaoshan with its entrance blocked solidly by rubble. Was Mountain Ghost trapped inside? I couldn’t help but wonder; this entrance looked no more than three meters wide. Unless Mountain Ghost bent down or crawled in, its large frame would never fit through.
I listened closely and could faintly hear some buzzing sounds.
"Should we move it?" I asked.
Lime swung his sword with a graceful motion, "No need." After saying that, he struck fiercely at the cave entrance, and I felt a strong gust of wind rush past. The air trembled, and a sword mark suddenly appeared on the pile of rocks ahead, splitting the struck area cleanly in two!
As I sensed that powerful shockwave, I took a few steps back.
Rocks fell, dust flew everywhere from the cave entrance!
Lime struck the pile of rocks at the cave entrance? Ha, ha, ha, I couldn't help but twitch my lips; now that’s what true innate strength looks like! Damn it, if that sword struck a person, would they even remain whole!?
However, I smiled as I realized that humans could indeed be this powerful! It turned out my guesses were not wrong! Haha...
As the smoke cleared, the scene inside the cave was instantly revealed. I took a glance inside and was immediately stunned. The people in the cave were completely frozen, their mouths forming an O shape, countless pairs of eyes staring blankly at us.
This was the first time I had received such 'worship' all at once; feeling awkward, I smiled lightly, "So you all are here. Hehe, I was wondering why there wasn't a single person in Village..."
"Feng, are you okay?" A person rushed out from the crowd and quickly jumped into my arms. I stroked her long hair, and a faint fragrance wafted over. "I'm fine; how about you all?"
The head in my arms nodded vigorously as she cried and laughed simultaneously, "Where have you all been these past few days? You didn't say a word before leaving; you scared me to death!"
"It's okay; we’re back now." Rophie looked very pale and cold; it seemed she had indeed been quite frightened!
As soon as I finished speaking, two more people walked out from the crowd—one was Special Police Ma Jielian, and the other was Dr. Zhang. Dr. Zhang immediately asked me, "Where's Xianxian?"
"Xianxian is looking for you; she'll probably be here soon." Sure enough, just as I finished speaking, a laugh echoed from afar: "Haha, so you’re all here! Uncle Zhang, Village Chief, how are you?"

Xianxian showed a proud expression, "That's right! Don't be fooled by its tough skin; it wasn't a match for us..."
"Stop talking nonsense!" I glared at Xianxian and smiled at everyone, "Last time we accidentally injured that Mountain Ghost, we didn't fare any better ourselves. Now, considering the time, it should have recovered by now. We need to find it quickly." That kid really doesn't see all the police still around? Can't he keep his mouth shut?
"Brother Feng and Immortal Brother are indeed impressive. We have seen the Mountain Ghost ourselves; even guns were ineffective against it. I didn't expect you to be able to injure it. I'm truly impressed!" Major Ma's eyes sparkled as if he could see through all the filthy lies.
I smiled even brighter, "It's all said to be an accident; your words are making us feel embarrassed."

I glanced inside and saw Tong Qi Xiao Xiao and the others were all there, which eased my mind. After greeting Guide Cui Ming, we entered the cave together. Major Ma said this was a place for villagers to take shelter from rain, existing for a long time. This time they had come in due to heavy rain and the terrifying roar they heard, prompting the whole village to seek refuge.
What was initially just a precaution turned out to be necessary when the Mountain Ghost actually appeared! Although a few villagers ultimately did not escape this disaster and were taken by the Mountain Ghost, most managed to hide inside. In the end, because the Mountain Ghost was so powerful, everyone had no choice but to block the entrance. Who would have thought it would be so fragile...
I awkwardly smiled and didn't explain further; fortunately, they didn't press for more details.
After learning about the direction in which the Mountain Ghost had gone, I bid farewell to everyone: "This trouble is of our making; leave the Mountain Ghost to us. Just right, I have a few friends who also practice martial arts and need some training."
