"Hey, are you dead?" A person asked with a harsh tone after kicking me hard in the waist. 0

"Hehehe~" After a laugh, another voice chimed in, "At this rate, you might as well have kicked him to death!" 0

"What the hell is this place? There isn't even a Shadow of a Ghost around!" 0

Lying on the cold ground, unable to move my body, I could only hear the low murmurs of the people around me. Am I still alive...? Haha, it seems my luck has always been pretty good. Although I couldn't open my eyes and didn't know who these people were yet, they didn't seem to harbor any ill intentions towards me. 0

"What else could it be? Are you blind? But in such a big Burial Pit, there isn't even a single burial item!" 0

"Speaking of which, is this guy dead or alive? He isn't moving at all; he must be freezing cold, hahaha..." I felt another kick to my waist. Despite my body being icy, the pain still accurately transmitted to my brain. 0

"I didn't expect this kid to have such a strong life force!" I felt someone pinch my chin and turn my head. A somewhat familiar voice rang in my ear, but I couldn't recall who it was at that moment. 0

"Should we tell the boss about him?" one person asked doubtfully. 0

"Looks like he's half dead already. Even if we tell them, can he be saved? We don't have much medicine left! Rather than waste it for nothing, it's better to just leave him be; he doesn't know much anyway! He won't be of any use to us!" 0

"True, just a dead weight..." 0

After some rustling and noise, their voices gradually faded away. It seemed they really intended to leave me behind! What the hell, these heartless scoundrels! Anger boiled within me, but my body wouldn't move at all; my limbs were numb and completely unresponsive. I couldn't even open my eyes, let alone speak. 0

Time passed second by second. I could even clearly feel my soul drifting further away from my body... Just when I thought I would never see the sun again, chaotic footsteps approached from ahead. I quickly perked up my ears to listen; though I couldn't see them yet, I could hear their voices. 0

"Are you sure it's him?" a doubtful voice asked. 0

"Yes, it's him!" The person paused for a moment before asking again, "He's half dead already; do we really need to save him?" 0

The voice fell silent for a moment before the person said, "Take him over first, wait..." 0

Before he could finish his sentence, I could no longer hold on and fell into unconsciousness once again. 0

I don't know how long I slept; it could have been a long time or a short time. My body was no longer as numb and cold as before. It was even somewhat warm around me, so I couldn't help but open my eyes. What greeted me was several bonfires burning brightly. Although the smell was unpleasant, my body felt much better. 0

"You're awake?" 0

Just as I managed to sit up, a calm voice rang out. I turned my head and saw a familiar figure nearby. Beneath a clean and tidy short haircut, a large black windproof sniper goggle covered most of his face. Below the high bridge of his nose, thin lips curled slightly. Although he was smiling, there was no warmth in it; it even felt icy... 0

"Divine Hand!" As soon as I spoke, I felt my throat dry and painful, and my voice came out hoarse and unpleasant! But none of that mattered; what mattered was that I had been saved! They actually saved me! Looking closely, I saw that the wounds on my body had already been bandaged. Even so, I still felt sore all over... This time it was truly a life-and-death situation! 0

"You have quite the luck." Divine Hand looked at me and tossed a water bottle my way. The large Sniper Goggles obscured most of his face, leaving only his slightly curled lips visible, devoid of any smile. 0

The water bottle hit my leg. I struggled to lift my arm and noticed a pack of Compressed Biscuit lying next to the bottle. I immediately took a few sips of water, and once my throat felt better, I quickly asked, "How did you guys end up here?" 0

"We were going to ask you how you ended up here!?" Another person spoke up; his voice was somewhat rough. I turned around to see a muscular man with a sturdy build approaching with a gun slung over his shoulder. 0

This person was clearly Evil Bird. He glanced at me with disdain before plopping down next to Xianxian. He shot me a glare and said, "I estimate there's an exit ahead; it's all twists and turns inside. We didn't dare go too far." 0

An exit? Twists and turns? It sounded like the place I had come from earlier. Although my mind had been hazy at that time, it couldn't be too different. 0

"That's a maze." After taking another sip of water and eating some Compressed Biscuit, I regained some strength. Noticing Evil Bird looking at me curiously, I continued, "I came from that direction." Pausing for a moment, I then asked in confusion, "How did you guys get here?" 0

"How did we get here?" Evil Bird glanced at me before scoffing, "We walked down!" After a pause, he raised his hand to point left and explained with rare kindness, "There's a staircase over there." 0

"This Burial Pit is too big; it seems inconsistent with that person's methods. Could it be a trap?" Just as I realized this, another strong man approached. When I caught sight of his face, I was momentarily taken aback. He glanced at me with an ordinary expression but sharp eyes—wasn't this White Two!? He shouldn't be... I suddenly felt disoriented; it was already miraculous that White Two hadn't died, and now he had successfully reunited with Divine Hand! 0

"Indeed inconsistent," Divine Hand said calmly while pointing towards the vast Burial Pit. "Bring everyone back; check the middle and surroundings thoroughly." 0

"Withdraw?" White Two asked, somewhat puzzled. 0

"This kid came from that direction, so there's no need to waste manpower scouting. We don't have that much time," Evil Bird said, pointing at me. 0

"Divine Hand, do you mean..." White Two didn't look at Evil Bird and instead stared curiously at the calm Divine Hand sitting nearby. 0

"Go ahead," Divine Hand nodded, saying little more. 0

"Alright." White Two didn't ask further and immediately turned to leave. I heard him gathering people to check inside the Grave Pit. 0

Though he said he was gathering people, I only realized when everyone arrived that there were only eight of them left. Excluding White Two, it seemed they had lost two more members! 0

I have never really understood Divine Hand. I couldn't understand him before, and I still can't now. If I say we are enemies, they have saved me several times; if I say we are friends, that seems impossible. Even though they saved me, I can still sense their hostility. 0

It was like the first time I woke up; those people were clearly Divine Hand's followers, yet they didn't save me. Instead, they kicked me a few times and left. But now I've been saved again. I can't figure out what use I am to them... Black Key has already been given to them... Although I now know their purpose and the origins of this Underworld—its secret origins—I have only just learned about it. As for any clues, I'm still completely in the dark; I know less than they do! 0

Although my dad might know more, I'm truly in the dark about it. Besides, I don't even know where my dad is right now, let alone that elusive secret... So why did they save me? Is it just to threaten my dad someday in the future? That's impossible! That thought is completely unfounded! 0

Could it be that there's some secret about me that they want to uncover... or perhaps someone close to me? Xianxian? Lemon? 0
