Entering the path has been many days now, and this time we have truly found our destination: the majestic and imposing Majestic Peak. However, with leaves falling and the yellowed foliage scattered between heaven and earth, there is a sense of desolation and solemnity, lacking the vibrancy of life. 0

The gray sky seems to be avoiding the unusual strangeness of this path, with a heavy atmosphere surrounding us, reminiscent of the silence before a storm. After climbing several dozen meters through ancient trees, we finally reached the cave we had seen earlier. 0

From below, this cave did not seem large. If it weren't for the special functions of Divine Hand's Sniper Goggles, we might not have found it at all. Now that we are here, the cave is barely over a meter high. Strangely, there are no trees at the entrance, not even a blade of grass! The dark soil exposed under the dim light appears somewhat sinister. 0

"I didn't expect it to be so easy to find; it can't be a trap, can it?" Evil Bird scrutinized the cave before us, his rugged and somewhat dark face filled with vigilance and doubt. 0

"Kong Quan?" Divine Hand did not answer him but instead looked at Kong Guayan. 0

Kong Guayan did not seem like an ordinary character; his delicate yet somewhat frail face remained unchanged as he calmly said, "The mountain is reversed, water flows away; water does not return to its source. This forest has a chaotic magnetic field where spiritual energy cannot gather. Vital energy cannot enter, and Death Qi cannot escape. Over time, it has become a place of great misfortune; it's hard to survive here." 0

"You mean this place is a land of great misfortune?!" Upon hearing Kong Guayan's words, Evil Bird was even more astonished. I looked at him in confusion; although he spoke at length this time, I only understood that it was indeed a land of great misfortune where survival was difficult. However, would anyone really choose to bury their dead here? 0

"Logically speaking, there shouldn't be so many ghosts in this world. But as you have seen on this journey, vital energy and Death Qi are colliding chaotically. Every night when darkness falls, those filthy things come out to cause trouble. Do you think it's suitable for burial?" Regardless of our grim expressions, it seemed that whenever the topic of feng shui came up, Kong Guayan turned into a chatterbox. 0

Seeing that Kong Guayan was about to elaborate further, Evil Bird was already flustered and quickly interrupted him: "Then just tell us where we should go!" 0

"Clearly, we no longer have time to search for another entrance." With that, he looked toward the Xiaoshan Cave before us. It seemed we had no choice but to enter. 0

"Are you sure this cave leads to the ancient tomb?" I blinked and asked. To be honest, I initially thought little of this cave, but after hearing him talk about it being a land of great misfortune where survival was difficult, I had an uneasy feeling that going in might not be a good idea! 0

Kong Guayan glanced at me and said after a moment, "If it doesn't work, let it work." After saying that, he fell silent. 0

Perhaps seeing that everyone's morale was about to wane, Divine Hand spoke to Kong Guayan, "Don't scare them anymore. When things reach their extreme, they will reverse; when danger is at its peak, good fortune will follow. Just go in and see." With that, he led the way inside. 0

Although the entrance was only about a meter high, once we entered, we discovered a different world. After walking for a while, light suddenly appeared before us. Looking up, although we couldn't see the blue sky or white clouds—only dark clouds were overhead—there was finally some light visible. The path we were on could indeed be described as a "narrow passage." 0

Above us, the mountain had been cleaved open, wide enough for three or four people to walk side by side. Below us, on the ground we were walking on, there was also enough space for three or four people to walk together. To our right was a towering rock face that reached into the clouds, and to our left was a river! 0

In fact, calling it a river would be more accurately described as a stagnant ditch! It twisted and turned ahead of us; I didn't know if it was rainwater collected from previous storms or if there was something else beyond. At first glance, I couldn't tell how deep the water below was, but the dark and foul-smelling surface made it hard for me to endure. 0

"It seems like there's something in the water?" someone said. 0

"Could it be a big fish?" Evil Bird said nonsensically. 0

Although I didn't want to mock him too much, I couldn't help but tease, "If you want to know if there's a big fish, why not just go down and feel for it? If you really catch one, it might just be enough for you to eat for a couple of meals!" This was truly just a joke; after all, even if there were fish living in this stinking Jet Black water, no one would dare to go down. Besides, who knows what those fish might eat? If it’s... ugh, just thinking about it made me want to stay far away from this Black Water! 0

"What's wrong? It seems like you really want to go down and catch fish?" Evil Bird walked over beside me with an amused look and said. Seeing his gleaming eyes, I shook my head firmly. I believed that if I nodded, this bird-man would really throw me in. 0

Just then, with a loud crash, someone suddenly screamed and unfortunately fell into the Black Water! Yes, you read that right—he fell into the Black Water! The spot where he had been standing had unexpectedly jutted out a rectangular rock! Although the rock only reached my waist height, it was quite long and was now firmly embedded in the right wall. I took one glance at it and shifted my gaze toward the person who had fallen into the water. 0

Almost as soon as he hit the water, someone next to him pulled out a rope from their bag and threw it to him. The man was completely covered in black muck and frantically flailed in the water before grabbing hold of the rope. Before they could pull him up, I stood there dumbfounded; I believed everyone else was equally stunned. Because where he surfaced from the water was covered in hair—lots and lots of black hair... 0

The man probably didn't realize what he looked like at that moment; he was terrified as he clung to the rope trying to climb back up. However, after climbing just a few steps, many Black Things reached out around him! In an instant, they pulled him back down into the water; all of this happened within mere seconds—one moment he fell into the water and in just seconds he vanished completely. 0

The Surface did not calm down due to that person's sinking; those black things that had just emerged from the Surface must have been hands, right? Although they were covered in a sticky black substance and hair, their shape clearly resembled human hands... 0

I couldn't help but take a few steps back against the mountain wall. Just as I moved, Divine Hand shouted for me to stop, but it was too late. At that moment, as I pressed against the mountain, I felt a hard push at my waist, and in an instant, my feet were off the ground. The wait for me to fall into the water felt incredibly long; I felt as if all the Cells in my body had frozen, and my mind was filled with thoughts of being pulled into the water, being pulled into the water... 0

However, after several seconds of waiting, I still did not hear the sound of falling into the water, nor did I feel wet or experience the suffocation of drowning. Could it be that I was already dead!? As this thought crossed my mind, I opened my eyes wide. But once I did, I saw Evil Bird and others staring at me with wide eyes, looking utterly incredulous. 0
