My peripheral vision caught Lime shaking his head helplessly, then he turned to Xianxian and asked, "What now?" 0

"How do I know you won't take something and run?" Xianxian replied. 0

"Are you afraid I would escape while you're surrounding me? Do you not trust your own abilities, or do you doubt your subordinates?" Lime said lightly, but I felt a strong presence from him. Indeed, capable people exude confidence no matter what they say! 0

Xianxian glanced at me, then stared at Lime for a moment before suddenly laughing, "Of course I believe in my abilities." After saying that, she signaled Lime to go open the coffin. I watched as Lime approached the Large Stone Coffin, first circling it once before starting to feel around. Before long, he smiled slightly, seemingly about to activate some mechanism. But just then, a sound like glass scraping came from inside the coffin; although it was faint, it was quite unsettling. 0

Could there be that blood-red hair inside the coffin too? I looked at Lime in surprise and saw him frowning slightly. 0

"Boss, it seems like something has already risen inside!" one of the others said to Xianxian. 0

Due to this sudden sound, everyone here exchanged glances. We had witnessed the power of that blood-red hair before and naturally did not want to open it and invite trouble. However, Xianxian looked at the Large Stone Coffin and firmly said, "Open it." 0

As soon as she finished speaking, Lime found the mechanism, and the lid of the Large Stone Coffin slowly began to rise. I took a quick glance inside and found another lid within; it seemed that there was another coffin inside the Large Stone Coffin. The inner coffin appeared to be made of fine camphor wood and showed no signs of decay or damage. 0

The impostor seemed both curious and fearful, so he used me as a shield and stepped forward a few paces. I didn’t resist because I also wanted to see if there was indeed that blood-red hair inside. If so, there was fire here; at worst, I would get bitten a few more times. If not, it would still be interesting to find out since I was somewhat curious. 0

After Lime opened the inner coffin, I immediately saw what was inside. I gasped in disbelief; there lay a person—or rather a corpse—but it seemed almost alive because his eyes were open. Just as I looked over, his pupils turned to look at me, and in that moment, I was completely thrown into chaos... 0

The figure lying inside could hardly be considered alive; accurately speaking, it was somewhere between life and death. The person was gray from head to toe, devoid of any vitality; their hair, eyes, skin—all were shrouded in a heavy grayness of Death Qi. 0

Living Dead! 0

A thought flashed through my mind, and as I looked further, I saw that what lay beneath him was not bedding or wood, but hair—lots of black hair with a hint of red! 0

He remained motionless, and aside from those moving Eyeballs staring at us, I almost believed he was dead. From the moment the coffin opened, the air was filled with the stench of death. 0

I stared at him, unable to comprehend how a person could end up like this; it was too miraculous and bizarre. The next moment, my thoughts were interrupted by someone exclaiming in surprise, “Quick, we’ve got it out! This time we finally caught a live one.” 0

What did they mean by finally catching a live one? Had they seen many before? I looked at Xianxian as he reached into the coffin, but the next moment, I heard their screams. I stepped back in terror, and the imposter holding me also ran forward in shock to help. Suddenly, a mass of black hair shot out from the coffin, piercing several people like swords, and the smell of Blood Stench hit me hard. 0

In the chaos, while everyone was entangled in those black strands of hair, I caught a glimpse of the ashen Living Dead crawling out of the coffin in a strange manner. Yet it seemed to retain a trace of Consciousness, as it slightly opened its mouth to “speak” to Lime. I couldn’t read lips, so I had no idea what was said, but judging by Lime's momentarily shocked expression, it must have been something significant; otherwise, with his calm demeanor, he wouldn’t have reacted that way. 0

Though I was curious, I could no longer think clearly because those strands of hair seemed impervious to fire. Even when burned, they still lunged forward. The air was filled with either the stench of decay or the smell of burnt hair; combined, they created an odor that could only be described as “the worst smell in the world”! 0

“Light it up quickly, make it bigger!” someone shouted. At that moment, all the flames in the tomb suddenly extinguished at once. In the confusion, I turned on my flashlight and witnessed an unbelievable scene: those flames had been snuffed out by the black hair! 0

All flashlights turned on simultaneously; Light Slot was ignited once more. But when I looked back, that Living Dead had vanished! 0

Perhaps our noise had been too loud; those vines came to life again. I saw countless green-black vines waving before me. Before long, I found myself hanging again—what an uncomfortable feeling! 0

“Damn it, it got away again!” Hearing a familiar voice, I turned to see that Xianxian had also been hung up like a sausage. When he noticed me looking at him, he glared and said angrily, “What are you staring at?” 0

I replied seriously, “I’m looking at you.” After saying that, I provocatively glanced at him. What’s so great about it? You’re hanging here just like me! 0

"You!" Xianxian's face turned slightly red with anger, and as soon as I said it, I regretted it, because Xianxian was clearly not an ordinary character. I watched as he flipped himself up with force, grabbing the vines at his feet, and then "stood" up. He looked down at me from above, his eyes filled with mockery and pride. 0

I stopped looking at him and instead searched for Lime's figure. On the other side, Lime was also entangled by the green-black vines, but he was facing upwards instead of down. I saw him gripping one vine with one hand while using a knife to cut the vines wrapped around him with the other. Perhaps the vines sensed the pain and began to shake violently, but Lime held on tightly and did not fall; instead, he started to climb upwards step by step. 0

I hadn't intended to climb either, but when I saw Xianxian climbing up as well, for some reason, I suddenly mustered the strength to flip up. I grabbed the vine firmly and stabilized my position. Before I could react further, I heard someone snort coldly. Looking over, I saw Xianxian smirking with a mischievous grin and saying, "I didn't expect you to look like a woman but still move quite nimbly." 0
