"Yes!" I looked at him in surprise, knowing that not many people were aware of the engraving inside. I wasn't referring to the surface but rather the interior of the Cat's Eye Stone, where one of them had a character engraved. I had discovered this by chance during a moment of boredom. This was something only I knew, not even my dad was aware. But how did he know?
"That's right." He lay back down, gazing up at the top of the tomb, and said lightly, "I once had a friend who had a similar one. That Cat's Eye Stone Bracelet could only be worn by his genes; it recognized only one master in a lifetime. If the master died, it would perish as well."
After hearing his words, I felt as if I had been struck by lightning, sitting there in shock and unable to speak for a long time. If what he said was true, then how could that Feng Shui Master know about my genes? Or was it possible… my dad was lying? Was there really no fortune teller wandering around from the beginning? Had he been deceiving me all along? Why…
"You’re lying to me!" Although I knew he had no reason or need to deceive me, I still couldn't believe it! I couldn't accept that I had been living in a lie for so many years…

This time he didn't ignore me and simply replied with two words: "Lime."

"Lime!" He emphasized again.
But I deliberately pretended not to hear, brushed off the dirt on my clothes, stood up, and smiled as I asked, "Lemon, what is your purpose in tomb raiding?"
When I called him Lemon, he seemed a bit helpless and shook his head, saying, "Eternal Life."
"Eternal Life!? You're also searching for clues about Eternal Life!" I exclaimed with wide eyes and asked, "Do you want Eternal Life?"
He shook his head and replied, "I can't tell you."
Still not giving up, I asked, "Since you don't want Eternal Life, do you want to destroy that thing like I do?!"
Hearing my words, he seemed a bit surprised and then chuckled lightly, "If there's a way to destroy it."
"Then, since our goals align, let's set out together!" I said happily. If Lemon could join me, I believed the chances of finding that thing would increase a hundredfold or even a thousandfold! This person is so capable; although he seems difficult to get along with, after spending some time with him, I've basically figured out some of his temperament. Moreover, he is very likely to know the clues about my bracelet. Most importantly, he doesn't need anything from me, which means he won't deceive or exploit me like others do. He is someone truly worth befriending sincerely!
He smiled without speaking, so I took it as his silent agreement.
At that moment, I had never felt as happy as I did now. Especially after my dad was taken away, I appeared to be smiling on the outside while feeling anxious inside. Everyone has a weakness: the tendency to rely on the strong; I'm no exception. But I believe I can learn a lot from him. He stood up and said calmly, "Let's go."
"Okay." Just as I nodded in agreement, I remembered he was injured. However, seeing his calm expression made me suppress the urge to ask about it and quietly followed behind him. Although his attitude remained cold, I still sensed something was different...
When we arrived at the place where we parted ways with Pei Zi and the others, we found they hadn't left. They were surprised to see Lemon with me; it seemed they didn't expect him to come along. At that moment, 'Dad' called out to me. I glanced at Lemon and walked towards him, pretending to look worried as I asked, "Dad, are you feeling better?"
"Yes." He weakly nodded and, holding my hand, asked, "Did you bring the key?"
"The key?" Although I wanted to pull my hand away, I held back and furrowed my brow in confusion, asking, "What key? Why would we need a key in the tomb?"
After saying that, I stared unblinkingly into 'Dad's' eyes and noticed he seemed somewhat skeptical of my words. He coughed a couple of times, perhaps to cover something up, and then said more weakly, "Zier, that key is very important to Dad, but I can't find it. Have you ever seen the Black Key?"
"Dad, what are you talking about? What Black Key? I've never seen it!" I looked at him in confusion, but inside I was sneering. So you guys are pretending to be my dad just to trick me into finding a Black Key? It's a pity; I've never seen it! Even if I had, I definitely wouldn't tell you!
"Sigh..." 'Dad' let out a long sigh, seemingly confirming that I wasn't lying. He simply stopped pretending to be a caring father and released my hand, falling silent beside me. Seeing him like this, I had no choice but to stand up 'helplessly' and prepare to ask Lemon if he knew anything about the Black Key.
"Song A! Feng Zi! I've discovered a big secret; come quickly and see!" Just as I took a few steps, Sudai's voice came from the empty tomb chamber. I looked towards the source of the voice and saw Sudai excitedly waving at us, anxiously saying, "What are you looking at? Hurry up and come over!"
"Sudai, where have you been for so long?" I asked with a smile as I walked towards her. The others also curiously followed when they heard about the 'big secret.'
"You'll know soon!" Her expression didn't seem like she was joking; she really looked like she had discovered something significant. We didn't say much more and followed her. Lemon naturally followed silently behind me, not saying a word throughout; everyone was used to it by now.
"I'm telling you, that place is amazing! It's my first time seeing something like it!" Sudai excitedly said in front of us.
