Dian Yin stood in the distance, the cool breeze causing her garments to flutter. Her hair tangled in the night wind, and the lightning on her forehead flickered between clarity and obscurity. After a long moment, she slowly parted her lips, saying, "Don't regret it." She turned and gradually disappeared from sight. 0

Yui suddenly felt weak and fell to the ground. Liu Fu Yeno reflexively supported her waist but then felt it was inappropriate and quickly let go, causing Yui to spectacularly fall flat on her face. 0

She looked up and glared at him, "Hey, why did you let go? Even deities can feel pain." 0

Liu Fu Yeno hesitated for a moment before finally reaching out to help her up, saying, "Is that person also a deity? Why did they suddenly stop trying to kill me?" 0

"Do you really enjoy being killed...?" Yui replied irritably. Liu Fu Yeno's gaze dimmed for a moment before quickly returning to normal. Yui continued, "She is a deity, the Nature Deity Arrow, and the reason she didn't kill you is that you are my chosen Dependency. She cannot kill you." 0

The Dependency is the basis for a deity's presence in the mortal realm. Generally speaking, an ordinary deity can stay in the mortal world for a year without relying on their Dependency, without their powers weakening. Higher-level deities can remain even longer. However, uncoronated deities are different; if they do not find a Dependency in the mortal realm, their powers will gradually diminish until they completely become mortal. Similarly, during their time in the mortal realm, deities must also protect their Dependency, creating an inexplicable bond between them that allows for a spiritual connection. 0

As Liu Fu Yeno listened to Yui's explanation and the backstory of her descent, he was initially shocked but eventually felt indifferent. He watched her mouth move as she spoke and couldn't help but smile slightly. 0

He thought… isn't there always a way out? Moreover… this little fairy should hold some status in his mind; otherwise, she wouldn't be so anxious about that jade pendant. So… could this be his opportunity? 0

He glanced at Yui again, a fierce light flashing in his eyes. 0

"Alright, enough talk. It's late now; let's find a place to rest first. Tomorrow I'll take you back to the palace," he suggested. 0

The two walked intermittently until they finally found a dilapidated temple not far from the forest. This temple was even more run-down than the one Yui had found earlier; dust filled the air, cobwebs covered the ceiling, and broken tiles revealed numerous holes. Upon entering, they were immediately choked by the stale air. 0
