The alien Mothership, amidst a tremendous explosion, turned into a pile of wreckage and vanished into the cosmos. Su Xiaoqi and Alex, along with their team, finally achieved the ultimate victory in this Interstellar Battle. Their names would forever be etched in the Heroic Chronicles of humanity.
Su Xiaoqi's once-distant dream had now become a reality.
"Su Xiaoqi, you are amazing!" Alex looked at Su Xiaoqi, his face filled with admiration.
"I couldn't have done any of this without you," Su Xiaoqi replied, looking at Alex with gratitude. She thanked him for helping her change her fate and for guiding her down this hopeful path.
"Let's go home," Alex said, his tone tinged with fatigue. They had endured a long and arduous battle and finally secured their victory. He needed rest and time to contemplate the future.
Su Xiaoqi nodded. She didn't immediately respond to Alex but instead looked around. She was familiar with the scenery of this universe, yet at that moment, she felt a sense of reluctance as if she were seeing it for the first time.
"Earth, we are back." When Earth appeared in their view, Su Xiaoqi couldn't help but exclaim. She had finally returned to her home, back to her homeland.
Upon returning to Earth, Su Xiaoqi and Alex received a hero's welcome. They were hailed as guardians of Earth, and everyone was filled with gratitude towards them. In the crowd, Su Xiaoqi spotted some familiar faces—her parents, her teachers, and her classmates—all excitedly waving at her with eyes full of excitement and admiration.
Su Xiaoqi's identity as an underachiever was forgotten, replaced by the admiration and respect people had for her. Her photo was featured in newspapers, and her story was celebrated by many.
Su Xiaoqi's life underwent a tremendous transformation; she was no longer the unnoticed underachiever but had become a prominent hero. She had to attend various events and give numerous interviews; she had become a public figure.
"How have you been?" a reporter asked during one interview, his tone filled with curiosity.
"I'm doing well," Su Xiaoqi replied with a smile. She wasn't lying; she truly was doing well. She had everything she had once dreamed of, yet inside her heart lingered a sense of emptiness.
The reporter chuckled and asked in a slightly elevated voice, "I heard you've become a billionaire; you have everything you want. Why do you still work so hard?"
"I have a lot more I want to do." Su Xiaoqi did not directly answer the reporter's question; she simply said this calmly.
"What do you want to do?" the reporter pressed, his face full of curiosity. He wanted to know more, to understand the true thoughts of this legendary hero.
"I want to make the Earth a better place, I want everyone to live a happy life, and I want the universe to be filled with peace," Su Xiaoqi said, her voice firm and powerful. She had already seen the future and knew what she wanted to accomplish.
"I understand," the reporter nodded, his eyes filled with admiration. He was struck by Su Xiaoqi's ideals and believed that she would surely achieve her goals.
Alex did not leave Earth; he chose to stay and continue helping humanity while engaging in deeper conversations with Su Xiaoqi.
"Why don't you leave here?" Su Xiaoqi asked, a hint of confusion in her tone. She did not understand why Alex wanted to remain on Earth.
"There are still many things that need to be done on this planet," Alex replied, his tone calm and resolute. He looked into Su Xiaoqi's eyes, believing that she would understand his choice.
"What do you want to do?" Su Xiaoqi asked, filled with curiosity about Alex. She wanted to understand his innermost thoughts and feelings.
"I want to help humanity, I want to protect the Earth, and I want to make this planet a better place," Alex answered, his voice full of strength.
"I need your help," Alex said, his tone calm yet determined.
Su Xiaoqi nodded without hesitation. She agreed to help Alex; she would not let him down.
"What is your name?" Su Xiaoqi asked, eager to learn everything about him.
"You can call me Alex," he replied with a smile. He was happy to share his name and true identity with Su Xiaoqi because he trusted her.
"Alex." Su Xiaoqi softly repeated the name, feeling a sense of familiarity as if they had known each other for a long time.
"What's wrong?" Alex asked, noticing a hint of confusion in Su Xiaoqi's eyes. He wanted to know what was bothering her.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about why you chose to help us," Su Xiaoqi replied, her eyes filled with curiosity as she sought to understand Alex's inner thoughts and motivations.
"Because I see the future of this planet," Alex answered, his voice calm and firm.
Su Xiaoqi remained silent, gazing at Alex.
"Do you have any other family?" Su Xiaoqi asked, her curiosity about Alex growing as she wanted to learn everything about him, including his past.
Alex was silent for a moment, looking into the distance with a flicker of sadness in his eyes.
"I come from a distant planet; my home has been destroyed," Alex said, his voice low and hoarse as he recalled his past and his homeland.
"I lost my family, I lost my friends, I lost everything," Alex continued, his eyes filled with sorrow as he struggled to forget the painful experiences and the loss of his home.
"Why did you choose to stay on Earth?" Su Xiaoqi asked, wanting to understand his feelings.
"Because I see hope in humanity," Alex said, believing that humans would create a better future.
Su Xiaoqi remained silent, looking at Alex, whose eyes were filled with hope.
