The Black Tower led the Giant Ape Clan back to launch another surprise attack on the city where Lu Chen and others were located. Among their ranks was an exceptionally powerful old monster. The leading Giant Ape let out a roar that echoed loudly, shaking the eardrums of those nearby.
Immediately after, the first Giant Ape charged forward, followed closely by a wave of others surging behind it.
Yet, the two Dragonbone Chariots did not retreat. With a swift movement of their long dragon bodies, they counterattacked in response to the charging Giant Apes.
In an instant, two Giant Apes collided with the Dragonbone Chariots as if two ferocious beasts were locked in combat.
The Dragonbone Chariots struck with lightning speed against the Giant Apes. Everyone thought they were only capable of crashing and entangling.
But at that moment, the Dragonbone Chariot swayed again, and countless gleaming steel blades shot out from its joints, slicing through the flesh of the Giant Ape as if it were cutting tofu. Blood spurted out instantly, accompanied by the low roar of the Giant Ape, which fell to the ground, lifeless. Two Giant Apes collapsed without getting up.
The steel blades on the Dragonbone Chariot were also made from a mixture of materials from the Origin Stone Motherbody, similar to the New Moon King Blade.
Seeing this, the remaining Giant Apes immediately became furious, roaring as they surrounded it. Their momentum was like ants attacking an elephant, overwhelming and engulfing the two Dragonbone Chariots completely.
On the other side, Lu Chen glanced at the battle between the Giant Apes and the Dragonbone Chariots. He exchanged a look with Chen Qilin beside him, who nodded in response.
