Lu Chen shook his head to indicate he was fine. "It was the twin brothers from the Yuan Family, but I have already killed them. Only Yuan Rang's Yin Spirit managed to escape."
Upon hearing this, Xing Ru Xie and Su Mo Li were both surprised, their faces showing hints of concern.
"Yuan Rang's Yin Spirit escaping means he will report back to the Yuan Family. Once they receive this news, it will be troublesome," Su Mo Li said. Both she and Xing Ru Xie looked worried for Lu Chen.

"Lu Chen, you finally came! I've been waiting for you all morning. Why did you come so late?" Su Mo Li replied.

"What about Xing Ru Xie? Why haven't I seen him today?" Lu Chen wondered aloud, as it was only natural for Xing Ru Xie to be there.
"He came by but has already left. Apparently, there's a secret treasure that has appeared in a remote mountain three hundred miles away from the capital, so he went ahead and asked me to wait for you here," Su Mo Li explained to Lu Chen.
"Oh? A secret treasure? What kind of treasure? In a mountain three hundred miles away from the capital?" Lu Chen fell silent at once.
With such circumstances, it was clear that the Noble Heirs must have gone to see the excitement surrounding the treasure hunt, which explained why no one was there to listen to music.
