"The Taoist is too polite. Ever since I received a letter from the Defender of the Realm, I have been eagerly awaiting your arrival to assist us," Luo Yi welcomed Tang Wuqing into his tent.
Tang Wuqing replied, "General Luo need not worry. I have come specifically to help you. Lu Chen is one of my fellow disciples from the Five Element Sect and has committed many acts that go against our teachings. Upon receiving my master's orders, I rushed here immediately."
"Good! Very good! With your assistance, what do we have to fear from these rebels?" Luo Yi exclaimed with a hearty laugh, as if victory was already within his grasp.
"When does the Taoist plan to take action?" Luo Yi asked. He hoped that after his siege equipment arrived, Tang Wuqing would restrain Lu Chen while he coordinated an assault on Qinghe City with the Right Wing Legion.
"Let General Luo decide when to attack; any time is fine. However, I must first meet with my senior brother before returning to discuss important matters with you," Tang Wuqing said. He intended to meet Lu Chen first before returning to discuss the siege.
Luo Yi nodded and said, "That works too. I still have a batch of siege equipment that hasn't arrived yet; it should be here soon enough—either today or tomorrow—so it's no trouble for you."
Tang Wuqing nodded and then exited the military camp, flying alone towards Qinghe City until he vanished from sight in an instant.
Seeing Tang Wuqing leave the tent, Luo Yi finally let out a sigh of relief. This Tang Wuqing felt cold all over, like a zombie.
As he entered the tent, it felt as if they were plunged into a snowy landscape, instantly becoming a few degrees colder, and the atmosphere turned strange, creating a sense of oppressive confinement.
With this guy going to deal with Lu Chen, there seemed to be hope. After all, they were from the same sect, so one could only hope he could play some role.
Luo Yi murmured to himself, staring blankly in the direction where Tang Wuqing had disappeared, appearing deep in thought.
At this moment in Qinghe City, outside the general's residence, six or seven soldiers were guarding the entrance, vigilant against any possible occurrences.
Suddenly, two soldiers fell silently to the ground. Behind them stood a young man in his twenties, dressed in Five Element Sect attire. This person was none other than Tang Wuqing, who had just come out of Luo Yi's military camp not long ago.

Upon seeing someone fall, the remaining guards finally reacted and quickly raised their spears at Tang Wuqing, shouting loudly.
However, after their series of actions last night, they stood frozen in place and then collapsed limply to the ground, motionless—clearly dead.
Tang Wuqing maintained his cold expression, showing no emotion on his face. After dealing with these guards, he no longer hid but boldly walked toward the general's residence.
"We should not have gone wrong; my senior brother has already been appointed as Gate General by the rebel Han Dynasty. With his abilities, he must be in command of the general's residence and directing the entire army."
Tang Wuqing thought this as he stepped toward the general's residence. In just a few breaths, a large number of soldiers discovered him and were utterly shocked.
This person had brazenly barged in; even the brothers at the entrance hadn’t made a sound. Either they hadn’t noticed him or they had already been taken down; it seemed more likely to be the former.
"Who goes there? How dare you trespass into the general's residence! Someone come quickly!" shouted one soldier as he rushed over.
"Don't come any closer; I will pierce you with my spear," another soldier threatened.
Yet Tang Wuqing remained expressionless in the face of any threats or intimidation, cold as ice, resembling a zombie.
"Senior brother, senior brother! Your junior brother has come a long way to see you. Aren't you going to come out and take a look at me?"
Tang Wuqing coldly shouted at the General's Mansion, sounding less like he was calling his senior brother and more like he was addressing a sworn enemy.
At that moment, Lu Chen was discussing the defense of Qinghe City with Generals Lei Kai and Lu Qing. Upon hearing the commotion outside, they all paused and listened closely, realizing someone was calling for a senior brother.
Lu Chen immediately frowned, sensing trouble, and said, "Let's go outside and take a look."
Then, Lu Chen, along with Generals Lei Kai and Lu Qing, rushed outside to find none other than Tang Wuqing.
Lu Chen blinked in surprise; he had clearly heard Tang Wuqing calling for his senior brother. He never expected it would be this person, especially at this moment. It seemed the situation was not good.
"Senior brother, I've come to see you. Let's have a chat," Tang Wuqing finally smiled upon seeing Lu Chen, but his smile was stiff and unnatural, tinged with a faint hint of murderous intent.
"How dare you! The General's Mansion is not a place you can intrude upon. Someone, seize him! Drag him away and kill him with a hundred blades!"
Seeing Tang Wuqing's attitude, Lei Kai was immediately furious. How dare someone run rampant in his General's Mansion so disrespectfully? That expression made him feel like killing.
"Hold on, General Lei Kai. Let the brothers step back. You won't be able to take him down. Since he has come for me, I will face him," Lu Chen said to Lei Kai.
"General Gate, you won't get hurt, will you? If needed, just say the word and I'll have my men drive him out," Lei Kai replied without hesitation. He firmly believed that numbers meant strength. With the heavily guarded General's Mansion, how could they fear a mere Taoist?
"Senior brother, you truly are a man of honor. Since that's the case, I won't harm them. After all, we haven't officially gone to war yet. Let's talk outside; I'll wait for you," Tang Wuqing said with a grin before soaring into the air and flying outside.
Lu Chen turned to Lei Kai: "General Lei Kai, don't worry. You all continue your work; I'll be back shortly."
He didn't believe that Tang Wuqing would dare to act here; after all, the city was filled with his own people. If Tang Wuqing had any sense, he wouldn't choose this moment to make a move.
"Senior brother, it seems you keep your promises."
Moments later, on the roof of a house in Qinghe City, Lu Chen and Tang Wuqing faced each other from about twenty paces apart.
"Yin Boqing has taken you as a disciple, hasn't he?" Lu Chen asked coldly, his expression somewhat grim.
Yin Boqing rarely accepted disciples. The only reason he had taken Lu Chen in was for the matter of the Twelve Golden Hairpins, and he had always been calculating against him. Lu Chen couldn't understand why Yin Boqing would take in this Tang Wuqing.
"Senior Brother, look at you. Master is unparalleled in cultivation and is now the Vice Master Supreme of the Five Element Sect. Can't he take you as a disciple and also accept me as a junior brother?" Tang Wuqing said with a sinister tone.
"Enough with the pretense in front of me. Your demeanor makes me uncomfortable and disgusted. Just state your purpose," Lu Chen said, shaking his sleeve. He was too lazy to get entangled with Tang Wuqing.
"Hahaha, are you angry, Senior Brother? Do I need to elaborate on my purpose? This is all Master’s intention. He personally instructed me to bring your head back as an opportunity for you to apologize, so you won't embarrass yourself outside, or bring shame to him and the Five Element Sect," Tang Wuqing replied.
Lu Chen sneered coldly and said, "Tang Wuqing, don't talk to me about Master. Does Yin Boqing deserve that title? I, Lu Chen, have never accepted even a single move from him. Aside from restraining and suppressing me, he has never done anything beneficial for me. Does such a person deserve to be my master? Please understand this: if you dare to mention Yin Boqing in front of me again, I will tear apart your Yin Spirit and ensure you never reincarnate."
Lu Chen felt a surge of anger, especially when Yin Boqing was mentioned. The things Yin Boqing had done to him still made him tremble inside. If it weren't for his cleverness, he might still be groveling at the Five Element Sect, never able to turn his life around.
If he thought about it further, Lu Chen could very well have died at Yin Boqing's hands.
"Hmph, Senior Brother, no matter what, Yin Boqing is still your master and our master, isn't he? Once a teacher, always a father. But you have done something unforgivable to him, so now I am here to deal with you," Tang Wuqing said.
