Three Aspects Return to One Scripture, with the greatest power being the third level, People's Power. This setting subtly mirrors reality. Because Common People are the foundation of the country, State and Society, and the source of everything; without Common People, there can be no nation, let alone governance.
Lu Chen recalls a passage from Confucian classics that conveys a similar meaning to the level definitions of Three Aspects Return to One Scripture.
The Master said: "The people are the most important, State and Society come next, and the ruler is the least important."
After spending three hours refining the Essence Sphere, the next step is to fully comprehend Three Aspects Return to One Scripture. Lu Chen sits cross-legged on the Throne, with his Yin Spirit and Flesh together, beginning his cultivation.
In cultivating Three Aspects Return to One Scripture, it is essential for the Flesh to open up the three main Dantians: upper, middle, and lower. Of course, Ye Nanzhai has already taken steps to facilitate this for Lu Chen.
After practicing for some time, Lu Chen suddenly realizes that the three Dantians correspond to the three Corpse Spirits in Daoism and are directly linked to the third secret realm of Void Immortal, "Three Aspects of Yin Spirit".
It can even be said that Three Aspects Return to One Scripture is derived from Three Aspects of Yin Spirit, which explains why it includes an additional character.
It is said that there are nine secret realms in Void Immortal, with the third being called Three Aspects of Yin Spirit.
The cultivation of Yin Zhen consists of five realms: the first realm is Disembodiment, the second realm is Spirit Travel, the third realm is Dharmakaya, and the fourth realm is Void Immortal. However, after reaching Void Immortal, there are still nine secret realms beyond that; only by successfully passing through these nine secret realms can one become a Yin Immortal as described in legends.
In the early stages, cultivating Yin Spirit is faster than practicing Qigong, but after reaching Void Immortal, it becomes much longer than practicing Qigong. The two have their distinctions; the pinnacle of Qigong is the War God, who represents the strongest self below. In contrast, a Yin Immortal can engage in Spirit Travel across the Cosmic Starry Sky to explore earthly mysteries.
Three Aspects Return to One Scripture mimics the third level of Void Immortal, namely, Three Aspects of Yin Spirit, forming a powerful scripture for returning to one's origin. However, in reality, true mastery of Three Aspects of Yin Spirit allows one to directly separate their Yin Spirit and create three major avatars.
In today's world, there is only one person who has cultivated to the third level of Void Immortal and separated into three major avatars; this person is the First Buddha of the Western Amitabha Sacred Land, Yenandozu.
However, it has been quite some time since Yenandozu last appeared in public. Now that so much time has passed, he must have comprehended even higher realms.
Yenandozu, this person is subtly recognized as one of the top experts and a major figure.
"Three Aspects Return to One Scripture, upper, middle, lower three Dantians, three Corpse Spirits, Three Aspects of Yin Spirit. So there is such a mysterious connection between them." Lu Chen mutters to himself. In this moment, his understanding of cultivating Yin Spirit has reached new heights.
He sat cross-legged on the Throne, his hands constantly changing various hand seals, gathering streams of Imperial Aura that filled the entire Eternal Life Palace.
The Imperial Aura was a sign of the Emperor's Art. When Ye Nanzhai was simultaneously confronting Rosen, Zhao Centipede, and Yellow Brow Ancestor, the Imperial Aura he emitted directly enveloped the ground, covering everyone within it.
That aura was like that of an ancient emperor—aloof, proud, indifferent, with a commanding presence that looked down upon all. Only such an aura could truly be called imperial.
Lu Chen practiced the Emperor's Art, which also enhanced his own temperament, transforming him from a lowly person into one of noble bearing. Ordinary people who saw him would feel as if they were in the presence of an emperor, trembling with weak legs and not daring to breathe too loudly.
Thus, practicing the Emperor's Art was equivalent to cultivating one's own demeanor.
It took Lu Chen half a month to refine this aura into something more pure. With an additional three days spent refining the Essence Sphere, nearly twenty hours had passed.
During these twenty hours, Lu Chen even forgot about his identity as an Inner Disciple of the Five Element Sect and cast aside thoughts of Yin Boqing without a care.
Now, he had completely cultivated an air of superiority and nobility, radiating a cold and aloof demeanor—this was what it meant to be an emperor, the most powerful individual in the world.
Calculating the time, Lu Chen had been in the Eternal Life Palace for nearly twenty hours; significant changes must have occurred outside!
Having nearly mastered the Emperor's Art, Lu Chen concluded his practice but was not yet ready to leave because there was still one very important matter: Jun Bell.
Inside Jun Bell, there was over ten times the gravitational force of reality. Ordinary people entering would likely find it impossible to walk and would soon perish, literally being hanged by the immense gravitational pull.
The devouring power emanating from it indicated its formidable nature; anyone within three hundred steps would be torn inside.
Usually, Lu Chen only used it to store items or let his Yin Spirit wander inside. As for his Flesh, he dared not enter at all.
Moreover, at that time, Lu Chen's Yin Spirit cultivation was insufficient to sacrifice his Flesh inside. Even if he could barely manage to do so, he feared that under such pulling force, he would not be able to retrieve his Flesh intact afterward.
Even the Great Strength Monk with Divine Power Body had to treat it with caution; how much more so for Lu Chen!
Lu Chen performed the sacrificial ritual, offering his own Flesh, and then used the Rift Spell to open the entrance to the Jun Bell, throwing the Flesh inside. After that, his Yin Spirit also flew in, directly returning to its place within the Jun Bell.
Inside the Jun Bell, there were other items as well, a pile of scattered Nether War Armor pieces and the Flesh of the Zhao Centipede, all quietly lying inside.
The Flesh of the Zhao Centipede had been absorbed by Lu Chen and had not yet been returned to him. Now, twenty hours had passed, and it was likely that the Zhao Centipede was already anxious. If seven days passed without receiving its Flesh, its Yin Spirit would be extinguished unless it immediately retreated to the mountains for Corpse Transformation.
However, at this moment, Lu Chen could not afford to worry about that. He had just returned his Yin Spirit to his body and opened his eyes, immediately feeling an unbearable discomfort. Every part of him—his hands, feet, waist, legs, head—even his internal organs felt a clear and heavy pain.
This sensation was likely caused by the powerful gravitational force pulling at his Flesh.
Lu Chen gritted his teeth and endured the pain, letting out muffled cries as he summoned all his strength to resist that gravity with brute force. He could not relax; if he did, the rebound of gravitational force might shatter his heart veins and lead to instant death.
"Ahhh!" Lu Chen shouted as he arched his arms into a semicircle, clenching his fists and engaging every tendon and bone in his body to stand up like a giant.
After considerable effort, he gradually adapted to the torment of this gravity. Then he cautiously tried to lift his feet and walk forward—one step, two steps, three steps.
Lu Chen's walking posture resembled that of a strong man carrying a heavy load or a toddler learning to walk. At times he would pause for long periods or sway side to side, making onlookers feel anxious because if he fell, it would be disastrous; he would either die or be severely injured.
Fortunately, the Five Animal Vitality Magic Technique he practiced proved very useful; the Crane Demon stance allowed him to stand firm like an old pine tree in a rice field, adjusting the center of gravity of his Flesh to maintain balance.
At this moment, every step was extremely difficult and exhausting. His True Qi flowed out like water and was burned by the Essence Sphere within him to replenish it frantically.
If an ordinary person were to expend energy like this, they would die from Flesh exhaustion in just a few minutes due to insufficient energy. However, Lu Chen had the Essence Sphere and Supreme Garment, so he did not need to worry about energy sources. This was also why he had decided to come in and test things out.
A person can only act boldly when they have something to rely on; it brings a sense of security.
After some time, Lu Chen walked around inside the Jun Bell, personally exploring every corner. His walking speed began to improve significantly, moving like a rooster pecking about—not too fast but not too slow either.
At the same time, he gained a deeper understanding of the Jun Bell. The entire interior spanned several thousand steps in circumference, and this was only what could be seen with the eyes. The unseen areas were shrouded in darkness; he wondered if those dark spaces could also be opened up through some secret method to create more space.
Of course, this is just Lu Chen's speculation. For him at this moment, being able to use Jun Bell is already quite good. As for developing and refining, that is something far beyond Underworld.
He himself does not have the leisure to spare. Originally, he planned to practice some ordinary martial arts within Jun Bell to better adapt to the gravity inside, but there was no time left because he sensed that something had changed outside Eternal Life Palace.
Are those high-ranking members of the Red Robe Sect unable to resist taking action against Ye Nanzhai?
Since refining the Essence Sphere, Lu Chen's ability to sense with his Yin Spirit has greatly improved. With the help of Imperial Aura, he can directly penetrate through several doors and perceive the situation outside.
During these days, he noticed that Ye Chong and other high-ranking members of the Ye Family would occasionally come to investigate the situation inside Eternal Life Palace. It seems they have already begun to suspect that Ye Nanzhai has encountered misfortune, but they are hesitant to confirm it, which is why they keep coming back to check.
In previous visits, they would come outside, listen for a while, and then leave. But this time, it seems they have made up their minds. Nearly ten high-ranking members and dozens of Trusted Disciples have come; it looks like they intend to force a palace coup.
It is time for those high-ranking members to go out and meet them.
Lu Chen slowly released his gravitational force, then used Yin Spirit Disembodiment to project his Flesh from within Jun Bell onto the Throne outside. He sat cross-legged and then used the Healing Void Spell to heal the entrance of Jun Bell.
After doing all this, Lu Chen prepared to go out. He noticed that the Purple Gold Cloak left behind by Ye Nanzhai was still quietly lying on the Throne. This garment also has quite an imposing presence!
Lu Chen put on the Purple Gold Cloak, lifted the hood over his head, and then with his Yin Spirit rising off the ground, unleashed waves of Imperial Aura, opening one door after another within Eternal Life Palace.
