When they climbed onto the city wall, chaos erupted across the entire structure. With these thirty individuals charging ahead, a large number of soldiers from the Northern Bear Empire began to swarm up the ladders. Meanwhile, the soldiers of the Eastern Dragon Empire were being pushed back steadily.
Fortunately, the Eastern Dragon Empire was not lacking in Advanced Knights. Soon, over twenty generals reached the city wall and engaged in battle with the thirty enemy commanders. However, due to the sudden assault by the thirty Advanced Knights, more soldiers from the Northern Bear Empire continued to ascend the wall one after another.

However, just as Shangguan Junpeng's eyes began to close and he pulled back on his sword with force, a strong hand suddenly grasped his arm. When he opened his eyes, he found himself facing his brother Shangguan Junhong, who was stationed outside the city.
"Little Six, how did you get here?"
"Second Brother, at this point, you still don't want to greet me? Is the throne truly more important than the lives of our people?" Shangguan Junhong looked at Shangguan Junpeng with tears in his eyes.
The reason Shangguan Junhong was there was that he had been sending Thunder Eagle Knights and Wind Eagle Knights into the sky daily to observe enemy movements. Upon learning of imminent danger at the city walls, he rushed in immediately. Today was no different; when a Wind Eagle Knight saw thirty Advanced Knight commanders storming up onto the wall, he quickly returned to report to Shangguan Junhong.
Fortunately, soldiers from Starfall City and Five Star City were well-trained and prepared within ten minutes. They were able to enter in time to assist with defense while Shangguan Junhong hoped to find his brother quickly to check on Shangguan Junpeng's safety; after all, they were still blood brothers. It was only when he realized how far away that throne had become that thoughts of suicide crossed his mind.

"Second Brother, if you truly desire this throne, I can help you. But your actions today have deeply disappointed me," said Shangguan Junhong as he pulled out a decree given to him by Shangguan Ji.
"Second Brother, I know this decree is what you dread most. It has taken away your hope of continuing as emperor." With that, Shangguan Junhong tore up the decree with all his might and tossed it into the air.
"Second Brother, I will not take advantage of your misfortune. However, I hope you will think more about the people of Eastern Dragon next time because you are a prince." After speaking, Shangguan Junhong mounted his Earth Elephant and gestured with his Fang Tian Hua Ji towards his private soldiers behind him.
“Brothers, charge with me! We will show the Three Kingdoms Alliance what true elite warriors are. Remember, behind you are your loved ones; fight to repel the invading enemies for their sake.”
With that, Shangguan Junhong was the first to rush forward, followed closely by the Fire Wolf Knights. His words inspired the remaining soldiers in the camp, boosting their morale. Even the Injured struggled to grab their weapons and join the fray. The soldiers of Firehead Camp were not equipped with proper weapons, but they had kitchen knives, iron pots, and axes for chopping wood. These items became the weapons of the Firehead Camp soldiers, who joined the battle against the Three Kingdoms Alliance wielding pots and pans.
In an instant, only Shangguan Junpeng remained kneeling on the ground in the entire military camp. At this moment, his treasured sword had fallen to the ground, having been thrust into the earth before him by Shangguan Junhong. As he reflected on Shangguan Junhong's words, he began to mutter to himself:

He called for his Mount, an Eighth-Grade Emerald Tiger. After mounting the emerald tiger, Shangguan Junpeng charged toward the city wall at full speed.
Meanwhile, fighting continued on the city wall. Today was the last day of the siege deadline, so Feski urged his soldiers to attack with all their might. Soon, all soldiers of the Eastern Dragon Empire were forced back to below the city wall; fortunately, they held their ground on the stairs and prevented their opponents from breaking through.
At that moment, Shangguan Junhong arrived with soldiers from Five Star Nation and Starfall Kingdom. He immediately issued orders: “Crossbowmen, prepare to shoot down those on the city wall! Copper Bull and Iron Bull, get ready to lead troops up onto the wall! Thunder Eagle Squadron, take to the skies and use Fire Oil Bombs and boulders to destroy those siege vehicles outside the city gate!”
After Shangguan Junhong's orderly deployment came a full counterattack from the Eastern Dragon Empire. The Thunder Eagle Squadron soared into the air with Fire Oil Bombs and boulders and quickly destroyed three siege vehicles. Following that, Thunder Eagle Knights began attacking the Siege Engineers and soldiers preparing to ascend the wall with arrows.
Below, Crossbowmen launched a frenzied barrage of crossbow bolts at those on top of the wall. Each soldier shot all their bolts in record time; this sudden attack disrupted the Northern Bear Empire's offensive rhythm.
Feski was astonished when a group of Thunder Eagle Knights suddenly flew out and attacked his siege vehicles below. By the time he sent archers forward, those Thunder Eagle Knights had already ascended beyond arrow range. A rain of arrows fell from above; due to how densely packed his soldiers were on the wall, accuracy was hardly necessary.
Aside from those troublesome Thunder Eagle Knights, he could see nothing else happening inside the city; however, he could see his own soldiers falling in droves. Feski's heart sank: Could it be that they still had some secret weapon yet to be revealed? Why were our men falling so quickly?
“Someone go check what is happening inside! Why are so many falling?” Before Feski's command could be fully issued, a disheveled knight rushed back; he was one of thirty Advanced Knight commanders sent by Northern Bear to participate in the siege.
“What happened out there?”
“Grand Marshal! We encountered a fierce counterattack from Eastern Dragon Empire on the city wall. Their Archers can unleash volleys of arrows in no time at all, causing us heavy losses. The soldiers up top can no longer hold out; they sent me back to report this news and hope for your decision.”
Hearing this news made Feski clench his fists in frustration. He was unwilling to retreat after deploying all his troops for this siege and having already captured their walls. Just as he hesitated, Copper Bull and Iron Bull had already led a large number of soldiers back to reclaim control of the city wall.
Alongside Copper Bull, there was also Sixth Prince Shangguan Junhong. At this moment, Shangguan Junhong had reached the peak of Intermediate Knight. Although he was not as powerful as an Advanced Knight, he had learned Liu Guanfeng's Heavenly Gang Thirty-Six Styles. After saying this, Shangguan Junpeng leaped onto the city wall, his sword swiftly claiming the lives of enemy soldiers. The generals looked at each other before realizing what to do; they immediately rallied their soldiers to charge back up onto the city wall, making the battle on the walls much clearer.
The first thing Shangguan Junpeng did after stepping onto the wall was to search for Shangguan Junhong. As he picked up his sword again, he resolved that no matter what, he could not let his brother come to harm. Among their brothers, none were more suitable to be king than Shangguan Junhong; although his elder brother was kind-hearted, he lacked the decisiveness that was innate to Shangguan Junhong.
Thus, Shangguan Junpeng decided that he would help his brother ascend to the throne while he would happily take on the role of a prince himself, relieving him of any pressure.
When he saw Shangguan Junhong fighting against an Advanced Knight, he was taken aback. He hadn't expected that in such a short time his brother had grown strong enough to hold his own against an opponent of a higher rank. However, in order to prevent his brother from getting hurt, he swung his sword and charged forward.
When they met again, there were no words exchanged—just a smile that conveyed everything. The Advanced Knight general found himself overwhelmed by the attacks from both princes and had no choice but to retreat down a ladder at the parapet.
Once the crisis was averted, the two brothers embraced tightly and said in unison: "Thank you." From then on, they set aside their past grievances and stood together once more because they had found a common goal.
