Three people discussed for a long time before deciding that Leo would prepare the necessary procedures to take over the mine overnight, while Qifeng Ge would be responsible for contacting the people from the Blacksmith Guild. Liu Guanfeng took the fox to his room to clarify some matters regarding the bandits on Black Wolf Mountain.
Through the fox's introduction, Liu Guanfeng gained some understanding of the situation on Black Wolf Mountain. There was only one main entrance to the bandit stronghold, and from the foot of the mountain, there would be a large number of Sentinels, each carrying a Sounding Arrow. Inside the stronghold, there was a Gathering Hall, and behind it were the residences of the Three Heads. The Boss was an Advanced Knight, while the Second-in-Command was an Intermediate Peak Knight. There were over a thousand bandits in total; during the last attack, two hundred and forty were sent out, but fewer than thirty returned. This meant that there were still nearly nine hundred bandits remaining on Black Wolf Mountain.
There was also a public Treasury on the mountain, along with one private Treasury for each leader. Additionally, women they had captured were held in caves at the back, and there was another cave filled with children they had kidnapped. These children were their reserves; after being brainwashed, they would become the most loyal members of the stronghold.
After clarifying everything, Liu Guanfeng had the fox taken out by his subordinate. Whether it lived or died depended on his subordinate's will. As expected, after being taken out, he quickly returned and informed Liu Guanfeng that the fox had gone to a better place. Since Du Zhenyang and Song Haitao had not undergone training from the Four Sacred Beasts, they were lacking in various aspects. After arranging all relevant matters, Liu Guanfeng waited for Five People to finish dinner before riding off from Golden Lion Chamber. This time he brought xp along; Li Xiaohan and Wang Jiao's safety could still be guaranteed within Golden Lion Chamber.
The group rode their mounts out of Stone Lion City's East Gate and entered Beast Emperor Mountain Range, where Black Wolf Mountain was located as a branch of this range.
When Five People approached Black Wolf Mountain and stopped about fifty meters away, Liu Guanfeng dismounted Little Black and quietly instructed him: "Senior Brother, I will go up from both sides with my subordinate shortly; you just need to follow us closely. Your task is to deal with any Sentinels we might miss." Little Black nodded.
Liu Guanfeng then mounted xp's back; xp had transformed into a wooden attribute form with a green hue that helped it blend into the darkness as night fell. Bao Rui, Copper Bull, and Iron Bull gripped their weapons tightly as they seriously observed the situation on Black Wolf Mountain; it appeared completely dark at this point as it neared midnight.
Liu Guanfeng whispered to his subordinate: "Go!"
Liu Guanfeng dashed toward the left side of the mountain path while his subordinate sprinted into the right-side forest. As soon as he entered the forest, Liu Guanfeng activated his spiritual sense. Once activated, he nodded inwardly; despite appearing calm on the surface, Black Wolf Mountain was heavily guarded. Within twenty meters of entering the mountain, he encountered two Sentinels.
Liu Guanfeng took out one of Bao Rui's Twin Blades and stealthily approached one Sentinel from behind. The Sentinel was intently watching the situation on the mountain path. Liu Guanfeng slowly crept within two meters of him without raising any alarm.
Seizing his chance, Liu Guanfeng lunged forward swiftly—covering the Sentinel's mouth with his left hand while drawing his sword across its throat with his right hand. The Sentinel struggled briefly before falling silent. Liu Guanfeng continued this method forward until he reached Black Wolf Mountain's gate after eliminating sixteen Sentinels.
At this moment, there were still two Sentinels not far from him. What troubled Liu Guanfeng was that these two Sentinels were only about three meters apart; any noise here would easily alert one another. He turned to xp: "Do you have any way to deal with one Sentinel without making a sound?"
xp thought for a moment, "Master, can I just bite off his head?"
Liu Guanfeng nodded, "It's decided then. You take care of that Sentinel below, and I'll handle the one above. Follow my orders and we'll act together." With that, Liu Guanfeng concealed himself again and stealthily approached his target.
When Liu Guanfeng was about three meters behind his target, xp arrived at the designated position. At that moment, Liu Guanfeng overheard the Sentinel in front talking to someone nearby, "Old Jiang, can you hear me?"
Another Sentinel replied, "I can. What's up?"
"Old Jiang, do you think Boss is being a bit too cautious? Our Black Wolf Stronghold has been here for decades, and the officials have come more than once, yet they never got the upper hand. What's different this time?"

"So what? Isn't our Boss an Advanced Knight? Are we really afraid of a few kids?"
"Our Boss isn't afraid in broad daylight, but he's worried about those kids sneaking in at night. Haven't you noticed that since yesterday our Sentinel density has doubled? Don't worry; in a couple of days, it will be fine."
"In a couple of days? Does Boss already have some strategy?"
"Of course! I heard Boss personally went to see the President of Rain Lion Chamber of Commerce yesterday. They're planning to bloodily wipe out Golden Lion Chamber tomorrow night."

After saying this, he jumped in front of the Sentinel. The Sentinel jumped back in surprise and let out an "ah," but before he could finish his shout, Liu Guanfeng covered his mouth with one hand while his short sword plunged into the opponent's lower abdomen. He pinned him against a large tree trunk and stabbed him several times before the Sentinel slowly slumped down.
"How's it going on your side?" Liu Guanfeng asked.
"All set, Master," xp replied.
After dealing with these two Sentinels, Liu Guanfeng made his way to the front gate without encountering another Sentinel. At this moment, he vaguely saw a small head peeking out from the trees across from him. Liu Guanfeng knew that meant xp had completed the mission and reached the expected position.
Liu Guanfeng glanced back at the entrance of Black Wolf Mountain. The gate was not closed; instead, a Giant Deer was placed in front of it. Four guards were leaning against the gate, dozing off in pairs.
From a distance, Liu Guanfeng waved to Dai Yi, and the two quietly approached with their Mounts. At this moment, the four guards remained oblivious, continuing their nap. Liu Guanfeng and Dai Yi slowly crept up on the four bandits from both sides. When they got closer, Liu Guanfeng gestured to Dai Yi, and they both charged at one guard each, while XP and Iron Arm Mantis attacked another guard. They quickly dispatched the four guards at the gate. Just as Liu Guanfeng and Dai Yi were about to enter the stronghold, they noticed four more bandits approaching from a distance. Liu Guanfeng's heart sank.
Liu Guanfeng immediately said to Dai Yi, "It might be the shift change. We need to put these four back in their places." So, Liu Guanfeng and Dai Yi repositioned the four guards. Fortunately, it was late at night, so it wasn't very clear; if it had been daytime, there would have been blood everywhere.
Liu Guanfeng and Dai Yi hid beside the gate with their Mounts, quietly waiting for the four incoming bandits. After about a minute, the four bandits arrived, yawning as they walked; it seemed they were still half-asleep. As they passed through the gate, one of them remarked about the four bodies in front, "We're here for the shift change; you guys shouldn't sleep out here or you'll catch a cold. Go sleep inside." As they spoke, they slowly moved forward. Liu Guanfeng seized the opportunity and signaled to Dai Yi. Just like before, they pounced on the four bandits coming for the shift change.
The four bandits had no time to react before they all fell dead on the ground. After dealing with this situation, Liu Guanfeng said to Dai Yi, "We'll go in soon. You handle Second-in-Command while I take care of Boss. Use stealth; if you're successful, set fire to everything around you. Remember not to touch the grain storage unless absolutely necessary; I need those supplies for my private soldiers."
Dai Yi nodded, "Third Brother, don't worry. We'll keep all the good stuff; I know you're having a tough time too."
Liu Guanfeng was taken aback by Dai's words; he didn't expect such a cold boy to make jokes. Realizing this, Liu Guanfeng understood that despite his cold demeanor, Dai was still just a child under ten.
Liu Guanfeng tapped Dai on the head: "You talk too much; hurry up and get to work."
With that, Liu Guanfeng and Dai stepped into Black Wolf Stronghold. Upon entering, they saw many houses around them. About a hundred meters from the gate stood a large building that should be the Gathering Hall mentioned by Fox.
Leading their Mounts, Liu Guanfeng and Dai Yi circled around the Gathering Hall and entered two courtyards on either side. According to the map provided by Fox, Boss resided on the left while Second-in-Command's courtyard was on the right.
Liu Guanfeng quietly approached Boss's courtyard with XP. At this moment, he felt quite anxious because Fox had mentioned that Boss's Mount was a Sixth Tier Earth Bear with formidable senses; if they weren't careful, they could easily be detected, which would spell trouble for them.
