The two embraced, and another round of passion ensued.
Until the sun was high in the sky, Cheng Yi, awakened by his hunger, knocked on their door.
"Uncle Ye, Mengyu Aunty, don't sleep anymore, I'm hungry!"
Having just finished their activities, both were still covered in sweat.
Li Mengyu shyly pushed Ye Mingshang away and pouted, "It's not the first time; why are you so anxious?"
This time, Ye Mingshang didn't tease her but looked at her with tender eyes. "It's been over a thousand years since we last met; how could a few months be enough?"
Li Mengyu bit her lip, recalling their various experiences together.
"Knock knock knock! I'm hungry!"
Ye Mingshang smiled awkwardly while Li Mengyu playfully urged, "Get up already."
After washing up, the three had a light breakfast and lunch at the hotel cafeteria before checking out.
Ye Mingshang drove them back to the place where they had rented the car.
In the manager's office, a young man in his twenties was enduring his boss's scolding.
"Look at what you've done! You've rented out the car for months and still haven't returned it. If you don't bring it back soon, you'll be paying off that debt for a lifetime!"
Stepping out of the manager's office, the young man let out a heavy sigh. "Finally done! Seriously, when I first got hired, he was all smiles, saying things like, 'Amu, you're doing great! Keep it up, and when I get promoted, you'll be the manager!'"
As he spoke, he mimicked the manager's expression from that time.
Then reality hit him again, and he sighed once more. "How could such a good person just disappear? This has really put me in a tough spot."
Ye Mingshang had initially paid for a month's rental, but now it had been several months without returning the car. The Car Rental Company had reported it to the police, but the officers said his documents were all legitimate and couldn't open a case.
In truth, they just didn't want to deal with it. Later on, the company filed a civil lawsuit, but they couldn't even find this person to serve him with court papers.
This person had vanished for months, and no one had been able to locate him.
It was only heard later that someone spotted a young man in the Snow Mountain area who resembled the car renter.

Amu knew that being a manager was difficult, but it wasn't easy for him either.
He sighed, and a roar of engines caught his attention, causing him to look up.
Not far away, a black SUV came into view.
"Huh?!"
Amu was startled, doubting whether he was seeing things.
"That's right! It's him!" Rubbing his eyes, Amu suddenly felt a surge of joy.
The car door opened, and a Black-Clad Youth stepped out from the driver's seat.
Following him were a Child and an incredibly beautiful woman.
"Who is this woman? She's so beautiful!" Amu couldn't help but stare in awe.
Noticing Amu's gaze, Li Mengyu looked somewhat displeased.
"Everyone likes beautiful things, but it's best not to think too much about it; otherwise, it will only bring unnecessary trouble," Ye Mingshang's irritated voice sounded beside him.
Amu snapped back to reality and awkwardly smiled.
Then he suddenly froze. "You! What are you doing here?!"
"Why can't I come? The car hasn't been returned yet," his question left Ye Mingshang momentarily stunned as well.
Uh (⊙o⊙)…
It seems like this is really the case.
"But, but it's been several months..."
Before he could finish his sentence, Ye Mingshang smiled apologetically.
"I'm really sorry, I was held up somewhere for a while due to some matters. Don't worry, just calculate how much you need, and I'll make it up to you."
The other party's calmness made Amu feel embarrassed to say many things he had intended to express.
"Alright then, please have some tea and wait a moment. I'll be back soon."
The three of them sat down and began to enjoy the pastries prepared for the guests on the table.
