Yin Yang Demon Suppression
"So this is how it works. But wait, how can I aim when the wind is blowing so hard that I can't even open my eyes?" The Unprincipled one shook his head.
"······"
Ye Mingshang was speechless, staring at the chubby guy for a while.
"Can't you cover your eyes with your magic? With your level of power, it should be enough."
Magic, of course, has endless uses. Covering it on the surface of the body can withstand a certain amount of damage, provided it is from the same level of Yin-Yang Circle. Ordinary attacks from mortals are generally not resistible. Concentrating magic on the ears can enhance hearing, while placing it on the nose can improve smell, and it can also enhance vision when applied to glasses. The strong winds and sounds from their battle could naturally be mitigated by covering their bodies with magic. Although it consumes magic, for their level of power, doing so is still quite easy.
"Hehe, my magic is inherited; there are many uses I haven't had the chance to explore yet." The chubby guy scratched his head awkwardly.
"Alright, I'm really impressed with you. Later, provide me with long-range support and wait for the right moment to unleash a big move to finish him off."
"K!" The chubby guy made a gesture.
The two seemed to be chatting casually, but An Bei Jin Yun in the air couldn't wait any longer. He could have attacked directly; with his shamelessness, he could indeed pull off a sneak attack. However, he thought of himself as a deity and regarded them as mere ants for life. He also wanted to play with them and chose not to sneak attack.
"Hey! Are you done yet? Get on with the fight!" An Bei shouted in dissatisfaction.
"Shut up already!" The chubby guy yelled back. In his words, even if they couldn't win, they shouldn't lose face.
Although An Bei Jin Yun couldn't understand Chinese, he knew that the chubby guy wasn't saying anything good. His gaze sharpened as a strand of Cold Radiance shot towards him. The chubby guy was so scared that he shrank his neck and hid behind Ye Mingshang, pushing him forward.
"······"
Ye Mingshang said nothing and struck a strange pose, waving his hands continuously as if performing a ritual dance.
"Hey! What's wrong with you? We can't just give up like this! Hey!" The chubby guy thought Ye Mingshang had gone crazy seeing him act like this suddenly.
"*&^%$@!+=-&*^"
Ignoring the chubby guy, Ye Mingshang continued his bizarre movements and mumbled incomprehensibly, sounding like he was speaking gibberish.
"Search for the imprint of the European Pug!" The strange character shouted, and Ye Mingshang's muscles swelled up, his skin turning crimson, his eyes bulging wide. A pair of thick fangs protruded from his lower jaw, and his black hair stood on end as if blown by an invisible wind. He looked more like a Western Demon than a human.
"Oh~ What a strange spell," Anbei remarked with mild curiosity.
In response, Ye Mingshang launched a powerful punch. Now resembling a monster, he crouched down and leaped into the air like a cannonball, aiming directly at Anbei.
"Ugh!~" Ye Mingshang roared as he swung his fist down.
"Trivial technique!" An Bei Jin Yun smiled slightly, taking up a stance to meet the attack with a punch of his own.
"Bang!" The collision of fists created a deafening sound that hurt the eardrums.
After the first punch, Ye Mingshang quickly descended with the momentum and then jumped up again for another punch, repeating this action.
"What is he doing..." Face was baffled by this strange combat style, while several onlookers in the distance were equally perplexed.
"Fatty! Aren't you going to help?" Ye Mingshang's voice was deep like a beast's roar.
"Oh... okay!" The fat man finally snapped back to reality and quickly mounted his flying sword, hovering in the air from a distance.
"Earthly Extremity, Heaven and Earth Borrowing Technique! Prajnaparamita!" Unprincipled's aura surged as he ceased his playful demeanor and pointed with his sword. The sword box opened, and dozens of flying swords shot out in a fan shape towards their target.
"Hmm~" Anbei narrowed his eyes and quickly prepared for defense. His muscular body contracted slightly, covered by a layer of sheen that indicated its extraordinary nature.
"Ding ding ding ding!" The flying swords clashed against each other, producing sounds like metal striking metal. Anbei's defense was astonishing! These flying swords were made of extraordinary materials capable of cutting through iron like mud, yet they only left faint white marks on An Bei Jin Yun's body without even breaking the skin.
"Nameless and formless, all methods return to origin—Sun and Moon Attack! Prajnaparamita!"
Unprincipled had not intended to rely solely on such attacks to defeat An Bei Jin Yun. However, seeing that even his physical body could not be harmed left him shocked and disappointed. This feeling lasted less than a second. Although he was not particularly skilled, he was still a disciple of Yan Chixia. Who was Yan Chixia? He was someone who could kill ghosts with sheer force before even cultivating; wielding a great sword that could shock gods and demons alike, he was known as the number one sword in the world!
Even when Yan Chixia passed away, the Underworld did not dare to collect souls for fear of being cut down by his sword. It was only because Yan Chixia did not want to make things difficult for them that he chose to reincarnate instead of taking up a good position in the Underworld with his abilities.
Though the fat man could not compare to someone like Yan Chixia, he was still a descendant of such fierce warriors. Being acknowledged by Yan Chixia meant he couldn't be too far off either.
With a shout of "Prajnaparamita," all the Flying Swords returned, not entering the sword box but settling ten meters in front of the fat man, forming a gigantic celestial sword. The sword energy intertwined as if it were a single entity; although they were merely arranged to resemble a large sword, it felt like a complete weapon.
"Damn it!" An Bei Jin Yun, feeling half-beaten and uncomfortable, cursed angrily and aimed to deal with the fat man first. However, at that moment, Ye Mingshang jumped in again, and without paying attention, he was punched in the stomach. Having retracted his defensive stance, he felt a wave of pain and wanted to retaliate, but Ye Mingshang had already used the force of that punch to descend.
"Prajnaparamita!"
With another shout of "Prajnaparamita," the assembled great sword emitted a sword intent a hundred times stronger than its individual components. Then, with a ringing sound, it lunged toward An Bei Jin Yun. Although this strike appeared slow, almost sluggish, it seemed impossible to evade.
An Bei Jin Yun sensed the extraordinary nature of the sword and felt the threat it posed. Realizing he could not withstand it, he attempted to dodge but found that the slow-moving attack was unavoidable! It was as if it had locked onto him; no matter how he ran, the sword remained directly in front of him!
"Die!" the fat man roared, using the Xuanyuan Divine Sword to thrust forward with Ling Kong as leverage.
"Bastard!" An Bei cursed loudly and summoned a black shield that appeared before him.
"What kind of power is this? It's similar to that sword," Ye Mingshang pondered as he observed the strange Black Shield.
"Buzz!" The great sword charged forward with boundless sword intent and collided with the Black Shield. A fierce wind erupted, accompanied by a buzzing sound that pierced through eardrums painfully.
"Ah!" The fat man shouted and switched from holding the sword with one hand to two hands. The veins on his forehead throbbed as the flesh on his face trembled violently.
"Crack!" A sound of shattering echoed, causing An Bei's expression to change.
"Break for me!" With an unprincipled roar, he exerted himself further, increasing the power of the great sword. Then came another shattering sound as the Black Shield broke apart, leaving An Bei completely exposed to the great sword's attack.
"Bastard!" An Bei cursed again; even he did not dare to take such an attack head-on. But with the shield shattered and no way to dodge, he could only rely on his body for defense.
An Bei Jin Yun positioned his arms to protect his head while bending his knees slightly. His muscles tensed up, revealing a faint metallic sheen.
"Ding!" The sound of metal clashing rang out first. An Bei's face twisted in pain; although the sword did not pierce him completely, he still suffered significant damage.
"Tear!" The standoff lasted barely a second; under such terrifying pressure, An Bei could not maintain his defense. With a ripping sound, the sword began to penetrate his body bit by bit.
"Ah!!!" An Bei roared in agony, his expression ferocious as every vein in his body became visible. The skin on his neck stretched tightly, and the veins on his forehead bulged as if they might burst at any moment! Beads of sweat poured down incessantly.
However, all these efforts seemed so pale and powerless in the face of such an attack. The momentum of the great sword did not diminish much; it only prolonged his suffering.
"Rip!!!" Accompanied by a tearing sound, the great sword pierced through the body, leaving behind only a corpse split in half.
"Huff!~ Huff!~" The fat man stood not far away on the Flying Sword, gasping for breath, sweat pouring down his forehead like a faucet. He trembled uncontrollably, as if he might collapse at any moment.
"Is it over...?" Ye Mingshang also returned to a normal state, but his clothes were torn due to his body’s expansion and muscle growth.
"Finally it's over, that's great~" Lin Qianqian wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and smiled happily. Everything was resolved simply because the enemy was defeated, and Ye Mingshang was no longer in danger.
Although they had only known each other for a short time, her heart was completely given to Ye Mingshang. It seemed a bit unbelievable, but that was how it was; from the moment she met Ye Mingshang, she felt an inexplicable familiarity with him. Unfortunately, her feelings were one-sided. This was destined to be an unrequited love.
Seeing An Bei Jin Yun torn in half brought joy to everyone; after all, this was not just a powerful demon but also one responsible for the invasion of China that led to the Nanjing Massacre.
However, their joy did not last long before it was shattered by an incomprehensible phrase in Japanese.
"Do you think this level of attack can kill me? How naive!"
