Yin Yang Demon Suppression
Yamamoto screamed in pain, despite having no mouth. The sound seemed to emanate from the depths of an abyss, shaking the very souls of those who heard it, causing their eardrums to ache.
“Enough noise! Earthly Extremity, Heaven and Earth Borrowing Technique!” A deep Male Voice rang out as a blue figure, Ling Kong, flew in and instantly appeared before Yamamoto, striking him down with a palm thunder that silenced his roar.
“Damn it!” Yamamoto roared angrily, his voice terrifying as if it came from the depths of hell, captivating all who heard it.
“You're too loud, Japanese Devils.” Fat Taoist stood atop a crystal-like Flying Sword, looking down at Yamamoto. He then waved his right hand, summoning a sword from the sword box behind him that shot straight towards Yamamoto.
Yamamoto was alarmed; his instincts told him that this sword's sharpness was beyond his ability to withstand. As soon as the Flying Sword appeared, he had already taken to the air, preparing to escape.
“Want to run? It's not that easy. Earthly Extremity, Heaven and Earth Borrowing Technique. Prajnaparamita!” Fat Taoist narrowed his eyes, grasped a divine sword, and dove towards Yamamoto. As he chanted incantations, the sword in his hand spun into a flower of blades and transformed into a streak of light flying out, aimed directly at Yamamoto.
“Ah!” Yamamoto was still slower than the Flying Sword. Even when fully powered, he might not have been able to evade it. In no time, he was pierced through by the sword, and with his scream gradually fading into black mist, he vanished from this world.
“I am not willing!” This was the last phrase left by Yamamoto as only his head remained before dissipating completely. No matter how unwilling he was, he had already perished entirely, leaving no trace behind. Perhaps hundreds of years later, he could reunite his soul and suffer in the Underworld for several centuries before being reborn as a lowly creature again.
“Hmph! Trying to escape in front of me? Truly unaware of your own mortality!” Watching Yamamoto disappear, Fat Taoist swung his divine sword with an air of an Expert.
“Ah!” Lin Qianqian screamed loudly.
With several people already defeated and defenses breached, a Mountain Demon seized the opportunity to pounce on the now defenseless Lin Qianqian.
This Mountain Demon was pitch black all over with crimson eyes and yellow teeth bared as drool dripped everywhere. Wasn't this the same Mountain Demon that had appeared at the beginning?
“Beast seeking death!” While showing off, Fat Taoist had initially hoped to hear cheers and admiration from everyone and even fantasized about beautiful women throwing themselves at him. However, just as he was daydreaming about a blissful future, this beast interrupted his thoughts and infuriated him.
“Don’t be afraid, my lady; I’m here to save you!” Fat Taoist tried hard to appear serious as he stepped onto the Flying Sword, almost instantly reaching her side.
“Whoosh!” The divine sword flew past like lightning in an instant. The Black-scaled Mountain Demon, however, suddenly halted its movement and turned around with disbelief etched on its face as it looked at Fat Taoist.
"Poof!" Two seconds later, green liquid sprayed from the neck of the Black-scaled Mountain Demon. Its head fell to the side with a thud, and the dark, headless corpse collapsed helplessly.
Lin Qianqian had been terrified, eyes closed, thinking that her life was over as the monster lunged at her. She imagined all sorts of strange thoughts about death, wondering if she would go to heaven or hell, and how ugly she would look as a ghost.
However, after waiting for a while, she felt no pain and did not sense any attack. It didn't feel like she was being attacked at all; surely if she were dead, she would feel some pain.
"Who are you?" Lin Qianqian curiously opened her eyes and saw a figure in a blue Daoist robe standing with a long sword in hand, facing away from her in an expert manner. The monster that had tried to attack her was now a headless corpse, green fluid flowing from its hollow neck.
The Fat Taoist standing with his back to her wore a smirk reminiscent of Yue Yunpeng's and pretended to be profound as he spoke.
"I am the Unprincipled Taoist. I heard that demons were causing trouble here and intended to eliminate them. Passing by, I saw the young lady in danger and thus came to your rescue." The fat man controlled his tone well; it sounded quite pleasant and gave off an air of an otherworldly expert, very mysterious and profound.
Lin Qianqian was inadvertently affected by this aura and felt a sense of admiration, quickly thanking the Taoist.
"Thank you for saving my life."
"It was just a small effort; it's nothing to mention," the Immoral Taoist replied with a sly smile before suppressing his emotions and pretending to be profound again.
"Hey! Fatty, stop being so wordy. If you're here to help, hurry up and take action; I'm still busy over here!" In contrast to the calmness on this side, Joan was overwhelmed with work.
The Scarred Ghost had already knelt down, severely injured and recovering. The two Puppets lacked strong offensive capabilities and could only serve as relative distractions. Essentially, Joan was struggling alone to hold on. Fortunately, after following Ye Mingshang for some time, he had obtained that Dao Seed to improve his aptitude. He had also experienced the trials of the Illusion world which sharpened his mindset and learned several new spells.
This allowed him to barely withstand the enemy's attacks. If it had been just a week ago, he definitely wouldn't have had such strength; even an ordinary Mountain Demon could have torn him apart, let alone withstand so many attacks.
That Black-scaled Mountain Demon was cunning and strange. Joan was already struggling against ordinary foes; how could he manage against such elite monsters?
He had been barely holding on when suddenly the Fat Taoist flew over on his sword and struck down the powerful Yamamoto with several swift blows. Joan was momentarily stunned. He was surprised for two reasons: first, because the Taoist appeared out of nowhere; second, because of his unique entrance—flying on a sword! Even Ye Mingshang couldn't fly! Thirdly, he was astonished by how effortlessly the Taoist dispatched the formidable Yamamoto.
In that moment of distraction, he let the elite monster slip away just as it seemed hopeless for him to defend against it. But then the Fat Taoist turned gracefully and flew over, casually severing the elite monster's head with a single strike.
Actually, I still admire Joan for this. After all, in his impression, the most powerful was Ye Mingshang, who could easily defeat Flying Zombie and brutally overpower Corpse Demon. Next was Dunkong Monk, dressed in white, exuding a Vajra-like Majesty, yet possessing immense strength, comparable to Ye Mingshang.
Now, the Fat Taoist was the third strongest expert he had encountered. Riding his sword Flying, he resembled a Celestial Being. With ease, he dispatched a bss and an elite monster without breaking a sweat, truly embodying the essence of a Human Immortal.
However, the previous lewd smile of the Fat Taoist completely shattered that expert image. Yes, the Fat Taoist had his back turned to Lin Qianqian. But Joan was right in front of him, and when he casually turned around and saw the Fat Taoist's smile reminiscent of Yue Yunpeng, his expression darkened.
With the expert image shattered, Joan naturally felt no respect. Seeing him still flirting with girls was infuriating, which led to his disrespectful remarks.
"Um..." Just as the Fat Taoist was smiling smugly, he suddenly heard this voice and his face darkened. He was about to retort when a shadow lunged at him from behind, knocking him down unexpectedly.
"Oh my gosh!" The Fat Taoist fell onto the ground, landing on the stones and yelping in pain.
"Ugh!" A grotesque green Mountain Demon sat on top of the Fat Taoist, its plump figure resembling a mini version of the Green Giant. It was now sitting on the belly of the Unprincipled, mouth wide open, with thick drool occasionally dripping from its lips.
"Damn it! Get off!" Once the fat man regained his senses, he saw a small green monster sitting on him, and its disgusting saliva dripping onto his beloved Daoist Robe. He immediately became furious and swatted it away with a slap.
"Serves you right, hehe." Joan chuckled to himself; that mini Green Giant was intentionally thrown by him to embarrass this Immoral Taoist, and thankfully it worked.
"What the hell! You little brat are setting me up!" The Immoral Taoist, being an expert himself, quickly noticed Joan's hidden actions and glared at him angrily.
"It's coming back!" Joan laughed quietly as he saw the Green Giant lunging back again.
"Damn it, how dare you bully me? You beast!" The Fat Taoist glared with bulging eyes and then drew a symbol in his left palm: "Earthly Extremity, Heaven and Earth Borrowing Technique!"
With a flash of lightning, the Green Giant was sent flying by the Fat Taoist. After hitting the ground, it twitched a few times before exploding into pieces.
Watching this scene made Joan's heart ache; although the Immoral Taoist was a bit lewd, his strength was undeniable. It took him great effort to deal with one monster while this person finished it off with just one palm strike. However, why did this technique seem so familiar?
"My friend, since you're here, please help me eliminate these Evil Spirits first." The Fat Taoist, initially planning to teach Joan a lesson, shifted his focus upon hearing Ye Mingshang speak.
“Limitless Respect! Exorcising demons and safeguarding the way is our duty.” The Fat Taoist coughed lightly and responded politely, adopting the demeanor of an Expert.
Ye Mingshang glanced at him briefly before looking away. Although it was their first meeting, he could sense that this Fellow was likely similar to Joan. However, strictly speaking, it wasn't their first encounter; during a previous meal, he had mentioned having a calamity involving blood. Initially, he thought he was just a con artist from the martial world, but now it seemed he had some skills. As for the blood calamity, well, ha ha~
“Xuanyuan Divine Sword, subduing demons and vanquishing evil. Prajnaparamita—Ten Thousand Sword Technique!” The Fat Taoist looked quite like an Expert as he became serious. He loudly recited incantations while his right hand wielded the sword, spinning it gracefully.
Despite his size, he was still quite agile. He performed flips and spins effortlessly, and with the way he wielded the sword, he did indeed appear quite impressive—somewhat cool.
“Whoosh!~”
“Whoosh!~”
“Whoosh!~”
······
With the final bow from the Fat Taoist, the sword box on his back opened automatically.
“Swish! Swish!” Accompanied by crisp Breaking Sounds, numerous gleaming Flying Swords shot out, instantly annihilating over a dozen Mountain Demons.
The bright sword light was very conspicuous against the dark night; each time a sword flashed, a Mountain Demon would scream and explode into countless fragments.
