"Mom, what's wrong? Is there a grandma in the car?" 0

"In the car? Look, there's a grandma sitting in the back." 0

This is a clip from a strange video recorded a few years ago, showing a woman driving her daughter home late at night. (You can find the real footage online.) 0

As the car entered a mountain road, the daughter suddenly pointed out the back and said, "Is there a grandma sitting back there? I can wave to her from outside." 0

I was startled and quickly turned up the music to ease my growing panic. 0

There is a saying in folklore that children under seven years old, due to their "Heavenly Eye" not being closed yet, are more likely to see unclean things while walking at night. 0

The incident took place in 1990 in Shandong Province, Tai'an City, Xintai Shenjiazhuang Town, Shangzhuang Village. 0

I was only six or seven years old that year. In autumn, my mother took me to my grandmother's house next door, and we played until it got dark before heading home. My grandmother warned me not to take shortcuts and to stay away from the wild areas. 0

However, my mom thought that since we walked those paths every day, nothing would happen. I could only nod along nervously. 0

So after leaving my grandmother's sight, we took a much shorter path. 0

Unexpectedly, this time something went wrong. 0

Not long after we started walking, I saw something terrifying in the woods by the roadside. 0

It was a graveyard with many tomb mounds. 0

That day, I saw a woman with disheveled hair sitting on one of the graves that wasn't overgrown with weeds. 0

Even though I was young, I knew it was likely a ghost, so I fearfully hid behind my mom. Seeing me cling tightly to her, she asked what was wrong. 0

I pointed and said, "There's a woman in white sitting on that grave." 0

But my mother looked in the direction of my finger and saw nothing. 0

She scolded me for talking nonsense and told me not to point at someone else's grave. She made me spit three times and apologize. 0

I looked back at the grave and realized that the female ghost I had seen earlier was gone. 0

I hurriedly said "I'm sorry" three times towards the grave and spat three times on the ground, thinking that would settle it. 0

After that, my mother held my hand, and we walked for over 20 minutes before returning to our village. 0

However, throughout the journey, I felt as if someone was following us. The feeling was intense, and I didn't dare to look back. 0

Out of the corner of my eye, I seemed to see a woman in white right behind me. 0

It looked just like the one I had seen at the grave. But I didn't dare to tell my mom; after all, she hadn't seen anything when I pointed it out to her, and I knew she wouldn't believe me. 0

Once home, I felt unwell all over, had no appetite, and skipped dinner to go to bed. 0

My mother came to check on me several times, but I really couldn't pinpoint what was wrong; I just felt weak all over. I lay there for an unknown amount of time before slowly falling asleep. 0

After a while, I suddenly heard a whimpering sound outside the window, as if someone was mumbling something indistinctly. 0

I became extremely tense and jumped up to look out the window, only to be frozen in fear. 0

Standing outside the window was indeed the female ghost in white from the graveyard. 0

She wore a very dirty white dress, her hair was disheveled and covered most of her face, leaving only her mouth visible. 0

Suddenly, a gust of wind blew by, lifting her hair and revealing her purplish-gray face. 0

Her eyes had no pupils, just two bloody sockets. At that moment, she grinned widely, revealing a tongue that was only half there, as if blood was oozing out. 0

The terrifying appearance of the female ghost finally broke my nerves, and I began to scream uncontrollably. 0

My screams woke my dad, and they rushed to my room. 0

I was hiding under the covers, refusing to come out no matter how much they called me. After a long time of coaxing in soft voices, I finally poked my head out from under the blanket. 0

It took me a while to gather my thoughts before I recounted what I had seen about the female ghost. 0

But when Dad looked out the window, he still saw nothing. 0

Summoning my courage, I glanced outside, but the ghost was gone. However, I wasn't sure if she had truly left, and I didn't dare stay alone in my room, so I slept on my parents' bed until dawn. 0

Early the next morning, Mom called Grandma over and told her about my encounter with the ghost last night. 0

To my surprise, Grandma understood immediately and sighed deeply. She said that many children in the village had seen this female ghost and that she was quite pitiful. 0

In life, she had been picked up by a bachelor from outside the village to be his wife and had some mental issues. 0

Grandma mentioned that only young boys could see her. She also said that although the woman's ghost was frightening, she meant no harm; she simply liked children and that we shouldn't worry—she would handle it herself. 0

Later, Grandma used some method to send the ghost away, but since then, I have been too scared to walk down that road. 0
