The next day, Li Xiaolu got up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. When she brought the breakfast out, she didn't see Jijun. She felt a bit strange and wondered where he had gone. After thinking for a moment, she took out her phone and sent him a message: "Where did you go?"
After sending the message, there was no reply. Li Xiaolu looked at her phone, feeling puzzled. She thought for a moment and then got up to walk to the study door, knocking gently. "Jijun, are you there?" Li Xiaolu called out.
Footsteps could be heard from inside the room, and soon the door opened. Jijun stood at the doorway, looking at her with gentle eyes. "You're up?" he said softly.
Li Xiaolu looked at him and nodded slightly. She was a bit confused and asked, "Why did you get up so early?"
Jijun smiled at her and replied, "I couldn't sleep."
Li Xiaolu looked at him curiously and asked, "What’s wrong?"
Jijun looked at her with a hint of helplessness and said, "I was thinking about you."
Li Xiaolu felt shy as she looked at him. She lowered her head, unable to meet his gaze. Jijun smiled at her, then took her hand and led her to the sofa, helping her sit down. He gazed at her with warmth in his eyes.
He reached out and pulled her into his embrace, holding her tightly. Li Xiaolu leaned against his chest, listening to his strong heartbeat as her own heart raced. She wrapped her arms around his waist, closed her eyes, and enjoyed the tranquility of the moment.
The two embraced for a while before Jijun finally let her go. He looked at her with gentle eyes. He reached out, ruffled her hair, and then picked up the headphones beside him, placing them over her ears.
"What is this?" Li Xiaolu asked, looking at him with some confusion.
Jijun smiled at her and said, "Just listen."
Li Xiaolu stared at him, still puzzled. She hesitated for a moment before extending her right hand to press the play button. A pleasant melody filled the headphones. It was an English song. The singing was melodious, the tune beautiful, and the lyrics poignant.
As Li Xiaolu listened to the music, she became somewhat entranced. She looked at Jijun with sparkling eyes. Jijun gazed back at her, his expression tender. He softly asked, "Do you like it?"
Li Xiaolu nodded vigorously, her enjoyment evident. She felt that this song perfectly captured her emotions at that moment. Looking at him, her eyes glistened with tears.
Jijun noticed her tears and felt a bit flustered. He reached out to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes and said helplessly, "Why are you crying?"
Li Xiaolu looked at him with a hint of grievance and replied, "I just feel so moved."
Jijun looked at her with a mix of helplessness and concern. He reached out again to ruffle her hair gently, then leaned down and kissed her lips.

As the song ended, Jijun released her.
He looked at her with burning eyes.
Li Xiaolu glanced at him, feeling a bit shy.
She lowered her head, unable to meet his gaze.
Jijun smiled at her and then reached out to take off her headphones.
He looked at her with gentle eyes.
He raised her chin with his hand, making her look at him.
His gaze was deep as he looked into her eyes.
Li Xiaolu's heart raced as she met his gaze.
She felt nervous looking at him.
Jijun smiled slightly at her.
He leaned down and kissed her lips.
Li Xiaolu felt his kiss and became somewhat entranced.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, responding to him with enthusiasm.
The two continued to kiss passionately, forgetting everything around them.
