"Bring me a pen and a piece of paper!" After the others left, Jiang Chen instructed Ye Xinru.
Upon hearing Jiang Chen's command, Ye Xinru hurried to fetch the paper and pen. "Lift your head," Jiang Chen suddenly spoke, breaking the silence.
Ye Ming's body trembled slightly as he slowly raised his head, avoiding eye contact and not daring to meet Jiang Chen's gaze.
"What? I won't eat you; there's no need to be so afraid of me," Jiang Chen said with a smile.
Only then did Ye Ming cautiously look at Jiang Chen, his expression softening a bit.
In the evening, Ye Xinru rushed back in a flurry, and at the same time, Chen Zhi arrived. Earlier, when Ye Xinru went to buy the herbs, she had called Chen Zhi. Jiang Chen glanced at the herbs Ye Xinru had brought back and nodded in satisfaction before instructing her to prepare a bathing tub with hot water.
Once everything was ready, Jiang Chen asked Ye Ming to undress for the medicinal bath. Although Chen Zhi wanted to see how Jiang Chen would treat Ye Ming, it was inappropriate for him to stay in the room while Ye Ming was unclothed. So he waited outside while Ye Xinru remained inside, anxiously watching.
Ye Ming possessed an Innate Spirit Serpent Body. The Spirit Serpent Body is one type of Innate Spiritual Body. The Innate Spiritual Body comes in various forms: there are those of innate ice cold, innate fire, and innate lightning attributes—these types are highly sought after in the cultivation world by major sects. In addition to these natural attribute bodies, there are also innate spirit beast bodies; Ye Ming's Spirit Serpent Body is one such example.
With proper cultivation, this Innate Spirit Serpent Body could dominate Earth without question. However, although an Innate Spiritual Body is advantageous, if it remains dormant, it can turn into a toxic body that brings unbearable pain.

The spiritual energy within the formation, combined with the medicinal properties of the herbs, created a strange force that permeated through Ye Ming's skin and into her body. Enveloped in steam, her transformation was obscured, leaving only the sound of her painful moans to be heard.
Activating the Spiritual Body was not an easy process; those with weak wills often failed at this first hurdle. It was not uncommon for accidents to occur in the cultivation world during the activation of the Spiritual Body. However, Ye Ming had endured the pain brought on by the Serpent Spirit Body's mutation every month, so the suffering of activating her Spiritual Body should be manageable for her.
Ye Xinru stood nearby, her heart aching at the sound of her daughter's anguished cries. Clenching her fists tightly, she felt an overwhelming sense of anxiety. She wanted to rush over to comfort Ye Ming and cheer her on but feared interrupting Jiang Chen's work, leaving her pacing nervously in place.
After about half an hour, Ye Ming's moans finally ceased. Jiang Chen withdrew the formation, and the steam surrounding Ye Ming gradually dissipated, revealing her slowly.
Ye Xinru watched intently. When she saw that her daughter remained seated in the wooden tub with a rather rosy complexion, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Alright, President Ye, you can help your daughter rinse off now," Jiang Chen said before leaving the room.
Jiang Chen had beads of sweat forming on his forehead; the consumption of his Spiritual Energy had been significant. He not only had to help Ye Ming activate her Spiritual Body but also needed to refine her physique. However, this effort was worthwhile for him. An Innate Spiritual Body was a promising candidate for cultivation. During this time, Jiang Chen had contemplated much; since he had been reborn on Earth, he needed to do something for it.
His family and friends still lived on Earth. Jiang Chen aimed to cultivate a group of powerful individuals to prevent future invasions from alien civilizations.
Once Jiang Chen left the room, Ye Xinru hurriedly inquired about how Ye Ming was feeling. Ye Ming could hardly express what she felt; all she knew was that she felt completely refreshed.
Standing up from the bath, Ye Ming found herself covered in thick black impurities, prompting Ye Xinru to urge her daughter to wash up immediately. After cleaning herself, Ye Xinru gazed at her daughter's body in astonishment. Now, Ye Ming's skin was as smooth as jade and flawless, as if her entire body had been sculpted from white jade—almost unreal.
"Mr. Jiang is truly remarkable," Ye Xinru marveled.
She urged her daughter to quickly get dressed and tidy herself up. Once Ye Ming finished grooming herself, Ye Xinru couldn't help but exclaim again, "Ming'er, your beauty now is beyond words; you are as stunning as a celestial being."
Ye Ming blushed deeply and shyly glanced at herself in the mirror, confidence sparkling in her eyes.
Over the years, due to her peculiar illness, Ye Ming had shied away from contact with others and had no friends; she mostly stayed at home. Although she was beautiful and came from a good family, long-term self-isolation had made her timid and insecure. Now, however, there was finally a glimmer of spirit in her eyes.
In the villa's hall, Ye Xinru led Ye Ming before Jiang Chen. At that moment, Ye Ming wore a fitted long dress; her long hair cascaded like a waterfall, and with red lips and pearly teeth, she resembled a pristine white lotus emerging from muddy waters.
Ye Ming's beauty lay in its purity and possessed a unique charm.

"Thank you, Mr. Jiang, for saving my life. I, Ming'er, will never forget this kindness," Ye Ming said hurriedly, bowing deeply in gratitude.
Beside him, Chen Zhi was astonished by the drastic change in Ye Ming and couldn't help but admire Jiang Chen even more.
