The main island of Wuhua Island is not far away, about four or five miles from the previous island. The strange fish accelerated and quickly reached the shore. 0

At the shore, Wuhua Island Master Hua Guinian came to greet them with a dozen disciples. Hua Guinian, over three hundred years old, looked no more than fifty. Generally, cultivators have their own methods to maintain their youth, and since cultivation itself is about using cleverness to enhance oneself, it is normal for them to show signs of rejuvenation. 0

Once a cultivator reaches a certain level of attainment, they no longer pay much attention to their external appearance. Some cultivators even deliberately make themselves look fierce and intimidating; after all, in cultivation, strength matters more than looks. 0

"Qian Zongzhu, Bao Mengzhu, you’ve had a long journey," Hua Guinian greeted with a smile. 0

Qian Tuo and Half-Dead Bao both returned the greeting. Qian Tuo said, "Flower Island Master, it’s been ten years since we last met. Your cultivation has improved again, while my Old Bone is becoming less and less Spirit Light." 0

Hua Guinian chuckled and replied, "Qian Zongzhu is teasing me again. We old fellows all know that I am the weakest among the Six Sects' masters. I’ve heard that your Guo Shan Sword Sect has produced quite a few outstanding disciples in these ten years. This time at the Immortal Path Conference, you will surely shine." 0

His mention of "old fellows" refers to the masters of the Six Major Sects. The leadership of the Loose Cultivator Alliance changes each session; Half-Dead Bao has only presided over two sessions and is considered a newcomer in Hua Guinian's eyes. Compared to the other Five Sects, the Loose Cultivator Alliance is seen as a rival competing for spots against the Six Sects, effectively becoming an enemy of the Six Sects. 0

Hua Guinian's personal strength is indeed the weakest among the Six Sects; he is even inferior to the leader of the Loose Cultivator Alliance. When Hua Guinian was promoted to Island Master, there were not many experts on Wuhua Island. He was also appointed as the successor by the previous Island Master. Although there was some controversy that year, he still ascended to Island Master smoothly. 0

Unexpectedly, after Hua Guinian took office, his luck turned around, and experts from Wuhua Island continuously broke through, making it the sect with the most Golden Core experts among the Six Sects. His junior disciples also multiplied rapidly, winning first place in several sessions of the Liuxiang Immortal Path Conference. 0

Hua Guinian's greatest contribution was fathering three children for Wuhua Island: his eldest son Hua Baili, his second son Hua Qian Zhi, and his youngest child Hua Wanduo. The second son Hua Qian Zhi was taken as a disciple by an outsider at five years old and has only returned to Wuhua Island twice in two hundred years; aside from seeing the Island Master and a few elders, no one else recognizes him. 0

The eldest son Hua Baili entered the Refining Qi Stage at thirteen, successfully established his foundation at twenty-five, and broke through to Golden Core Stage at forty-six. Among his peers in Liuxiang Kingdom, he stands out with few rivals. 0

The youngest child Hua Wanduo is one of the most astonishing female cultivators in Liuxiang Kingdom in nearly three hundred years. Her cultivation speed surpassed that of Hua Baili; she successfully formed her core before reaching forty and was known alongside Qiu Wuling of New Moon Sect as Azure Wind Antelope. 0

Unfortunately, Hua Baili was severely injured in battle two hundred years ago against Jin Liaoyuan and became incapacitated. Hua Wanduo secluded herself for fifty years and became the foremost figure in both Wuhua Island and Liuxiang Kingdom's Xian Dao. 0

Hua Guinian knew that further progress in his cultivation was unlikely; thus, he enjoyed being a leisurely Island Master while most affairs on the island were managed by two deputy Island Masters. 0

Qian Tuo did not have such leisure; he was busy inside and out. Under his efforts over these years, Guo Shan Sword Sect developed quite well. Qian Tuo self-deprecatingly said, "Thanks to Island Master's kind words, if Guo Shan Sword Sect can maintain fourth place, I’ll be grateful. I know well about those useless disciples." Though he spoke dismissively, excitement shone in his eyes. 0

Half-Dead Bao was left out in the cold but didn't feel angry. The Loose Cultivator Alliance was never popular, and it was common for them to snatch food from others' mouths, so it was no surprise that they were not welcomed. 0

Qian Tuo and Hua Guinian laughed as they arrived at the temporary residence of the Six Sects. 0

It was a flower and grass forest with six buildings surrounding it, each about a hundred meters apart. The names of the Six Sects were written at the entrance of each building. 0

Four imposing cultivators approached along the path in the forest, each wearing different robes. From a distance, Qian Tuo called out, " Chu Zhangmen, Chai Zhangmen, Lu Zongzhu, Zhu Zongzhu, you all came so early without waiting for me. You really don't think much of me!" 0

The four were indeed the leaders of their respective sects: Chai Longbo, the leader of Guiyi Sect; Chu Wushang, the leader of New Moon Sect; Lu Xianhe, from Star River Sword Sect; and Zhu Kaiping, from Wan Jian Sect. 0

Cao Wushang and Xu Feng were familiar with each other, having seen each other from a distance at the Refinement Conference. However, Zhu Kaiping from Wan Jian Sect was the one he least wanted to see. After all, Xu Feng had killed nearly ten members of Wan Jian Sect, which was quite a debt to settle. Additionally, there were still two lives owed to New Moon Sect, including that of Seventh Elder, who had died right before his eyes. 0

When the seven great leaders gathered, there was inevitably some small talk. The isolation of Half-Dead Bao became evident again; aside from a few formal greetings, the others treated him as if he were invisible. 0

Fortunately, Half-Dead Bao was prepared for this situation. He exchanged a few casual remarks before being led by a disciple of Wuhua Island to the building of the Loose Cultivator Alliance. 0

The building had three floors. Mo Shengyuan and Qin Yougong lived on the first floor, while Half-Dead Bao had a single room on the second floor. The extra rooms were evenly distributed among the Loose Cultivators' Top Ten. Luckily, all ten were men; otherwise, it would have been difficult to divide them. 0

Though the buildings were only about a hundred meters apart, no conversations could be heard between the sects, indicating that soundproofing formations had been set up in the buildings. The disciples of each sect had just arrived and were resting inside after their travels. 0

On October 14th in the morning, with still some time before the Liuxiang Immortal Path Conference, Half-Dead Bao went early to the conference hall on Wuhua Island to discuss matters related to this grand event. 0

As Xu Feng and others exited their building, they found themselves in a grassy field about the size of four soccer fields. Scattered throughout were a few flowering trees with trunks as thick as bowls and branches spreading out about ten feet wide, standing alone in the open field. 0

Surrounding the grassy area, disciples from the Six Sects also stepped out of their buildings to familiarize themselves with the terrain of Wuhua Island, seeking a sense of competition for the upcoming event. Disciples from different sects occasionally glanced at each other with wary and arrogant expressions. 0

The building for the Loose Cultivator Alliance was located at the far end. The arrangement was based on each sect's strength: at the entrance was Guiyi Sect, followed by New Moon Sect, then Guo Shan Sword Sect, followed by Star River Sword Sect, then Wan Jian Sect, and finally, the Loose Cultivator Alliance. The participating disciples from Wuhua Island were not present here yet. 0

Due to its construction around the grassy area, surprisingly, the last-placed building for the Loose Cultivator Alliance was adjacent to both Guiyi Sect and Wan Jian Sect. 0

The disciples of the Guiyi Sect clearly exhibited a sense of superiority, looking down on the disciples of the Loose Cultivator Alliance with disdain. Among the top ten of the Loose Cultivator Alliance, most came from humble beginnings, each with distinct personalities; some glared defiantly, while others remained indifferent and unperturbed. 0

During the battle in the Beast Wasteland, both the New Moon Sect and the Guiyi Sect suffered casualties. However, despite being neighbors now, there seemed to be no animosity between the two sects. Even when Chu Wushang and Chai Longbo met, it was as if they were old friends who hadn't seen each other in decades. 0

Xu Feng found it hard to believe that there were no conflicts between these two sects. Among the ten disciples of the New Moon Sect, he recognized Jiang Quan and Cai Shujun, who had killed disciples from the Guiyi Sect during the Beast Wasteland incident. 0

In addition to Cai Shujun, there were two female disciples from Mistaken Sword Hall whom Xu Feng did not recognize. They were likely part of the Five Golden Flowers from Mistaken Sword Hall. Since Xu Feng had taken a Shape-Shifting Pill, his appearance had changed significantly. Moreover, he had only met them once before, so when the members of New Moon Sect looked over, none recognized him. 0

This third-tier Shape-Shifting Pill had a transformation duration of half a month, which was sufficient for him to use until the end of this competition. 0

After lingering for a while, the disciples from various sects began to disperse but did not move far from the building complex; they merely advanced toward the center of the grass field. The Guiyi Sect, confident in their top ranking, occupied the largest area. The ten members split into two groups and roamed around like city management officials. 0

"Hey there! I heard you guys are holding some sort of loose cultivator selection competition. You must be an elite among them; are you interested in having a little spar?" A malicious voice called out from across to the Loose Cultivator Alliance. 0

A disciple with triangular eyes from Guiyi Sect provoked Xu Feng, who was only at the Foundation Establishment Stage. It seemed that they didn't dare to be too reckless and had set their sights on Xu Feng as an easy target. 0
