The sect recruits new disciples every three years and also expels those who have not broken through to intermediate levels within that time frame. Only a few who may not have broken through but are capable and diligent in their duties are retained as Steward Disciples to contribute to the sect's development.
"Thank you for your hard work, senior brothers," the new disciples greeted the veteran disciples, who returned the gesture.

This was the first joint practice for new disciples at New Moon Sect. As everyone diligently practiced for an hour, they finally awaited the signal to conclude their session.
After breakfast, they returned to the Trial Ground once more. This time they would learn Azure Dragon Thirteen Swords.
This sword technique consists of only thirteen swords, each divided into three forms. Its sword momentum is grand and imposing, surpassing even Wan Jian Sect's Spirit Serpent Sword Technique by a level.
Bai Shixiong demonstrated the sword technique, then called upon an older disciple to perform a breakdown demonstration while carefully explaining the essentials of the sword technique to the newcomers.
