The boy nodded and replied, "Yes."
Upon hearing this name, the homeroom teacher's expression changed instantly.
He widened his eyes and incredulously asked, "Are you the director's son?"
The boy nodded again and answered, "Yes."
At this statement, everyone was shocked.
They never expected that the boy before them had such a significant background.
The homeroom teacher reacted quickly.
A smile spread across his face as he warmly greeted, "So it's Young Master Liu."
"My apologies."
The boy smiled faintly and said, "Teacher, can I find Jiang Ming?"
The homeroom teacher nodded repeatedly and replied, "Of course, of course."
"Absolutely no problem."
The boy smiled and said, "Thank you."
He walked up to me and stopped.
Looking at me, he politely said, "Hello, Jiang Ming."
"My name is Liu Feng."
I stared at him without speaking.
He blinked and asked, "Aren't you going to welcome me?"
I shook my head and replied, "No."
"I'm just curious."
"Why do you want to find me?"
Liu Feng smiled and answered, "It's like this."
"I have a question I want to ask you."
Saying this, he took out a Test Paper from his backpack.
He opened the Test Paper and pointed to the last big question, asking, "What is your thought process for the last part of this question?"
I stared at the Test Paper, lost in thought. I had worked on this problem. My approach was rather unconventional, something most people wouldn't think of. Yet, Zhu Yufeng actually got it right. He made the same assumption as I did and arrived at the same conclusion. I looked up at him and asked, "How did you figure it out?"
Liu Feng smiled and replied, "I just followed your line of thinking." I fell silent. Liu Feng chuckled and said, "Can you explain it to me?"
"I don't have complete confidence."
"That's why I wanted to ask you." I continued to remain silent. Just then, the homeroom teacher walked over. He glanced at me, then patted my shoulder and said, "Jiang Ming, why don't you go out and chat with Young Master Liu?"
"You don't need to attend my class anymore."
I looked up at him and asked, "Really?" The homeroom teacher nodded repeatedly and answered, "Really, really."
"Go on now."
I stood up and walked toward the classroom door. Liu Feng smiled at me and followed suit. We exited the teaching building and arrived at the edge of the playground. I found a spot to sit down and then looked at Zhu Yufeng, asking, "How do you know me?"
Liu Feng smiled again and replied, "My cousin told me."
I blinked and asked, "Who is your cousin?"
Liu Feng replied, "My cousin is Dou Mei."
It turned out he really was my sister-in-law's cousin.
No wonder he knew my name.
I nodded.
Liu Feng smiled and asked, "Can you explain the problem to me now?"
I answered, "Sure."
So, I explained the problem-solving approach to Liu Feng.
After listening, his eyes lit up.
He nodded repeatedly and exclaimed, "Brilliant!"
"That's really amazing."
I looked at him without saying anything.
His gaze was very bright.
His eyes were quite beautiful.
Liu Feng looked at me and asked, "Can you explain another small problem to me?"
I replied, "Of course."
So, I explained the problem-solving approach again.
After he finished listening, he was amazed once more.
He looked at me with a strange sparkle in his eyes.
"You are incredible."
I felt shy under his gaze.
I lowered my head and quietly replied, "Not really."
By the time Liu Feng finished with the problems, it was almost time for class to end.
