I always thought he was just an ordinary rich kid, but I never expected he had such experiences. Suddenly, I felt that I knew too little about him. 0

"What's wrong?" Lu Hao asked, noticing my silence with a puzzled expression. 0

"Nothing... nothing," I came back to my senses and shook my head. 0

"Do you think I'm very willful?" Lu Hao asked. 0

"No." I shook my head. "I just think you're braver than I am." 0

"Braver?" Lu Hao raised an eyebrow. 0

"Yeah." I nodded. "You dare to pursue the life you want, while I don't even have the courage to try." 0

"Do you want to leave here?" Lu Hao asked. 0

"I..." I hesitated for a moment. "I've thought about it, but..." 0

"But what?" Lu Hao pressed on. 0

"But I'm scared," I lowered my head. 0

"What are you afraid of?" Lu Hao asked. 0

"Afraid of failure, afraid that I won't be able to adapt to life outside, afraid..." 0

"Afraid of being alone out there, with no one to take care of you or protect you, right?" Lu Hao interjected. 0

"Yeah." I nodded slightly. 0

"Silly." Lu Hao ruffled my hair. "If you want, I can accompany you." 0

"You'll accompany me?" I looked up in surprise. 0

"Yes." Lu Hao nodded seriously. "No matter where you go, I'll be with you." 0

"Why are you so nice to me?" I looked into his eyes. 0

"Because I like you," Lu Hao said without any hesitation. 0

"..." I was taken aback. 0

"What? Are you shocked?" Lu Hao laughed at my dazed expression. 0

"I..." I regained my composure. "I'm not shocked; I just... didn't expect you to say that." 0

"Hehe." Lu Hao chuckled softly. "Actually, I've wanted to tell you for a long time, but I was afraid you'd reject me, so I've never dared to say it." 0

"Then why are you telling me now?" I asked. 0

"Because I don't want to hide it from you anymore," Lu Hao said. "I want you to know how I feel, and no matter what the outcome is, I don't want to deceive you any longer." 0

"..." I looked at Lu Hao, feeling a mix of emotions in my heart. 0

I should be angry, after all, he is a liar who deceived my feelings. 0
But I just can't seem to feel any anger. 0
Maybe it's because he saved me, maybe it's because he helped me, or maybe it's because he has been really good to me. 0
In any case, I just can't bring myself to be angry. 0
"Why aren't you saying anything?" Lu Hao asked when he saw me silent. 0
"I don't know what to say," I replied honestly. 0
"Are you angry?" Lu Hao looked at me cautiously. 0
"..." I stared at him for a moment and shook my head. 0
"Really?" Lu Hao didn't believe it. 0
"Yeah." I nodded. 0
"Then why aren't you talking?" Lu Hao asked. 0
"I'm just... not sure how to face you," I said. 0
"Why?" Lu Hao asked, confused. 0
"Because I don't know if I should be angry with you," I replied. 0
"..." Lu Hao was silent for a moment, "I know I lied to you, and you have every right to be angry." 0
"I'm not angry because of that," I denied. 0
"Then what are you angry about?" Lu Hao asked. 0
"I..." I hesitated, unsure of how to start. 0
"It's okay, you can say whatever you want; I promise not to get angry," Lu Hao said. 0
"Then if I say it, you mustn't get angry," I insisted. 0
"Okay, I promise," Lu Hao said seriously. 0
"Then here it goes." I gathered my courage, "Did you lie to me because you think I'm foolish and easy to manipulate?" 0
"Huh?" Lu Hao was taken aback. 0
"Is that it?" I pressed on. 0
"Of course not," Lu Hao immediately denied it, "How could I think you're foolish or easy to manipulate?" 0
"Then why did you lie to me?" I continued to press him. 0
"I..." Lu Hao hesitated. 0
"Come on, just say it," I urged him. 0
"Alright." Lu Hao sighed, "I admit that I had selfish motives." 0

"What selfishness?" I asked. 0
"I want to be with you," Lu Hao confessed. 0
"..." I was stunned. 0
"I know this is despicable of me, but I really can't control myself," Lu Hao said. "I like you, and I want to see you every day. I want to be with you." 0
"..." I still didn't say anything. 0
"Li Ting, I really like you," Lu Hao continued. "If you're angry, you can hit me or scold me; I won't complain at all." 0
"..." I looked at Lu Hao. 0
His gaze was sincere, and his face was filled with earnestness, not like someone who was lying. 0
My heart softened. 0
"Alright, stop saying those things," I said softly. 0
"What about you? How do you plan to punish me?" Lu Hao asked. 0
"I..." I thought for a moment, "I haven't figured it out yet." 0
"Then take your time thinking about it and let me know when you're ready," Lu Hao said. 0
"Okay." I nodded. 0
"Shall we continue practicing driving now?" Lu Hao suggested. 0
"Sure." I nodded again. 0
We continued practicing until after five in the afternoon before we finished. 0
"Thank you," I said to Lu Hao before getting out of the car. 0
"What are you thanking me for?" Lu Hao asked. 0
"Thank you for being willing to practice driving with me," I replied. 0
"No need to mention it," Lu Hao said. "You paid for it; it's what I should do." 0
"..." I was speechless. 0
"Haha." Lu Hao laughed, "Just kidding! Even if you hadn't paid, I'd still be willing to practice driving with you." 0
"..." I remained speechless. 0
