In the following days, Lu Hao accompanied me every day to practice driving, and I gradually became more skilled. A week later, I finally passed the driving test. The moment I received my Driver's License, I was overjoyed and immediately messaged Lu Hao. 0

"I passed!" I said happily. 0
"Congratulations!" he replied. 0
"Thank you!" I responded. 0
"You're welcome," he replied. 0

That evening, I treated my roommates to a meal to celebrate my successful acquisition of the Driver's License. 0
"I didn't expect you to get your Driver's License so quickly," Zhang Qian remarked. 0
"I didn't expect it either," I laughed. 0
"This is what we call hard work paying off," Xiao Mei said. 0
"Yeah," I nodded. 0

We chatted and ate, enjoying a pleasant atmosphere. After dinner, we returned to the dormitory and continued our casual conversation. 0
"Li Ting, you seem to be getting close to Lu Hao lately," Xiao Min suddenly said. 0
"Yeah," I nodded. 0
"Are you two... dating?" Xiao Mei asked curiously. 0
"Not yet," I shook my head. 0
"Why not?" Zhang Qian inquired. 0
"I don't know; I feel like we haven't reached that stage yet," I said. 0
"Oh," Zhang Qian nodded. 0

We fell silent for a moment, and then Xiao Min suddenly sighed. 0
"What's wrong?" Xiao Mei asked. 0
"I think Li Ting and Lu Hao make a great couple; it would be nice if they could be together," Xiao Min said. 0
"I think so too," Zhang Qian agreed. 0
"Thank you for your support," I smiled. 0

We continued chatting, and before we knew it, time flew by quickly. 0

On Monday, Lu Hao took me out to practice driving again. Coach Liu Ming was as strict as ever; any small mistake would result in having to start over. I was scolded harshly by him while sitting in the backseat watching Lu Hao drive. 0

He was holding back laughter so much that his body was shaking. 0
"What are you laughing at?" I glared at him. 0
"Sorry." He shook his head but still couldn't hold it in. 0
Coach Liu Ming got out of the car to smoke a cigarette, and when he came back and saw me still looking at him, he frowned. 0
"What are you staring at? Practice driving!" he shouted. 0
I shrank my neck, not daring to speak, and obediently practiced driving. 0
But I still made a mistake. 0
"What’s wrong with you? How can you make such a basic error?" Coach Liu Ming scolded. 0
"I'm sorry, I..." I hadn't finished explaining when he interrupted me. 0
"If you make this kind of basic mistake again, I'll really lose my temper." 0
I fell silent. 0
Lu Hao in the back seat couldn't help but laugh again. 0
"What are you laughing at?" Coach Liu Ming turned to look at him. 0
"Nothing, nothing, you go on." Lu Hao tried to suppress his laughter and waved his hand. 0
"You better not cause trouble for me, or I'll scold you too," Coach Liu Ming threatened. 0
"Got it, got it, you do your thing," Lu Hao replied. 0
Coach Liu Ming huffed and continued to guide me in practicing driving. 0
During the lunch break, I finally couldn't help but ask Lu Hao, 0
"Are you very familiar with Coach Liu?" 0
"Yeah." Lu Hao nodded, "We've known each other since we were kids." 0
"Oh." I nodded in response. 0
"His family is in business and quite wealthy, but he doesn't like doing business; he loves cars. He liked them since he was young and later got into a professional racing school and became a race car driver after graduation," Lu Hao explained. 0
"Wow, that's so cool," I said in surprise. 0
"Yeah, but his dad didn't agree and forced him to come back and take over the family business," Lu Hao sighed. 0
"How did he manage to stick with it?" I asked curiously. 0
"What could he do? He argued with his dad and even ran away from home; he did everything he could," Lu Hao said. 0
"You ran away from home?" I widened my eyes at Lu Hao. 0
"Yeah." Lu Hao nodded. 0
"What about you? Did you ever run away from home?" I pressed on. 0
"Me?" Lu Hao laughed, "Of course not." 0
"Really?" I looked at him skeptically. 0
"Really," Lu Hao affirmed, "I'm so well-behaved; how could I run away from home?" 0

"Cut it out." I rolled my eyes. "I don't believe you." 0

"If you don't believe me, that's fine." Lu Hao shrugged. 0

"Hey, I'm serious. Did you ever do anything rebellious when you were a kid?" I asked curiously. 0

"Rebellious?" Lu Hao raised an eyebrow. "I'm so well-behaved; how could I be rebellious?" 0

"Yeah, right." I scoffed. 0

"What am I bragging about?" Lu Hao looked at me in confusion. 0

"You said you never ran away from home. So tell me, did you ever do anything rebellious as a child?" I pressed. 0

"I..." Lu Hao hesitated for a moment. "In high school, I once tried to run away from home." 0

"Really?" I was taken aback. "Why?" 0

"Because I didn't want to follow my parents' plans for me; I wanted to live my own life," Lu Hao said calmly. 0

"And then what happened?" I asked. 0

"Then I went to Japan," Lu Hao replied. 0

"Really?" I was surprised. "Did your parents let you go?" 0

"What could they do if they didn't want me to go? I was already an adult; could they really stop me?" Lu Hao countered. 0

"So how long did you stay in Japan?" I asked. 0

"Three years," Lu Hao answered. 0

"Three years?" My eyes widened. "Didn't you miss the college entrance exam?" 0

"Yeah," Lu Hao nodded. 0

"So how did you...?" 0

"Later, I went to Paris and lived there for two years," Lu Hao said. 0

"Paris?" I exclaimed in shock. "Why did you go to Paris?" 0

"Because I wanted to see the world outside," Lu Hao replied. 0

I stared at Lu Hao, speechless for a long time. 0
