"Lin Ling, you are still a student. Don't you have to study every day?" Li Zhong asked.
"With my brother in this condition, I still have to keep it from my mom. I'll just self-study at home and wait for the call," Lin Ling shook her head and replied.

You can take it with you, and when your brother wakes up, I'll call you on this mobile phone. "Oh come on, at a time like this, why are you being so particular? Besides, I have a good relationship with your brother. Given his current situation, it's only right for me to help out a bit; it's the least I can do for him," Li Zhong said. He almost revealed that he worked under Lin Feng but thought better of it.
"Alright then, once my brother wakes up, I'll return this mobile phone to you," Lin Ling accepted the mobile phone after realizing that Li Zhong was sincere. If his relationship with her brother wasn't good, he wouldn't have traveled all this way to check on her and her mom.
"Great! Will you be able to use it?" Li Zhong asked, relieved that Lin Ling didn't refuse.
"I can use it; don't worry," Lin Ling assured him.
"Good! Here’s the charger; take it with you," Li Zhong said as he pulled a charger from the car and handed it to Lin Ling.
"Okay then, Li Zhong, you should go now. I'll wait for your news at home," Lin Ling said as she accepted the items without hesitation.
"Alright, I'm heading out now. Don't worry too much; your brother is lucky and resilient; it's not easy for him to get into trouble. Take good care of your mom, and if there's any issue, just call me. My number is saved in this mobile phone," Li Zhong instructed.
In fact, Li Zhong wanted to leave some money for Lin Ling and her mother but decided against it. Knowing Lin Ling's personality, she would likely refuse any money offered.
Li Zhong left just like that. Lin Ling watched the taillights of Li Zhong's car gradually shrink at the end of the road until they disappeared, and tears finally streamed down her face.
"Brother, you must come back safe. Otherwise, I really don't know what to do. Please, you have to wake up and come back to see me and our mother," Lin Ling stood there, clenching her hands tightly and talking to herself.

Then both sides ended the call.
After hanging up, Dong Jie looked at Lin Feng's furrowed brow. She knew that Lin Feng was also struggling with his pain and desperately wanted to wake up.

It was no joke; although Lin Feng's identity was not public, Liu Jing understood the importance of ensuring Lin Feng's safety while he was unconscious. Liu Fei and Wolf King had naturally sent people to protect Lin Feng.
The two men behind Liu Jing had been watching Xie Wanting closely. At Liu Jing's gesture, they knew exactly what to do. They stepped forward with stern expressions, gesturing for Xie Wanting to leave and saying, "Miss, please cooperate."
Though their words were polite, the tone left no room for argument.
They had already received orders: if they could not guarantee Lin Feng's safety, they would be held accountable.
Feeling the pressure from these two brutes, Xie Wanting had no choice but to slowly back away.
What puzzled her was when Lin Feng had gotten so many beautiful friends around him and when he had bodyguards watching over him during his hospitalization.
But at this moment, none of that mattered as much as knowing how Lin Feng was doing now.
However, she knew it would be difficult for her to get inside.
"Let her in." Just as Xie Wanting was about to leave, the door to Lin Feng's hospital room opened, and Dong Jie stepped out, addressing Liu Jing and the others.
"Sister Dong, this Xie Wanting is..." Chen Xinni quickly spoke up upon seeing Dong Jie make such a decision, still feeling uneasy about Xie Wanting.
