"What kind of weather is this, oh my!"
Xia Xiaoyu was pacing alone in the room when Tang Jiaying suddenly burst in, continuously complaining.
Chen Mumu and Liu Feifei quickly followed her in. Finally, Tian Xiaojing closed the door, and the weather outside grew even darker.
"Where have you all been?"
Xia Xiaoyu looked at the others in confusion.
"We were planning to go to the night market, but halfway there, who knew the weather would change!"
Tian Xiaojing glanced out the window at the dark sky and then said, "We should bring in the clothes from the balcony; it looks like it's going to rain heavily soon!"
"This is so unfortunate!"
Tang Jiaying's enthusiasm was dampened, and she wore a frown.
"Should we go buy some food to eat? With this weather, it might rain heavily soon!" Chen Mumu suggested to everyone.
"Forget it, let's just have some snacks!" Xia Xiaoyu replied nonchalantly.
Knock knock knock...
The sound of knocking on the dormitory door suddenly echoed at this moment, and just as Chen Mumu was about to speak, she turned to look at the others instead.
"Who is it?"
Chen Mumu pouted.
"It must be Zhang Li!"
Liu Feifei said as she turned around and opened the dormitory door.
The wind outside was strong, and when the door opened, it rushed in fiercely. However, when the others in the dormitory saw who was standing at the door, they were all taken aback.
It was the Administrator of this dormitory, still wearing that dark gray outfit. Her face looked somewhat stiff as she stared at the people inside, making everyone feel uneasy.
She appeared cold, but in her hand, she held a pair of scissors!
"It’s you!"
A hint of chill appeared on her wrinkled face, and finally, her deeply cold eyes turned towards Xia Xiaoyu.
"You seduced my husband, you vixen! I will kill you!"
The Old Woman's face suddenly darkened as she raised the scissors and ran towards Xia Xiaoyu.
"You seduced my husband; I must kill you!"
Everyone was stunned, completely bewildered as to why the dormitory Administrator burst in wanting to harm Xia Xiaoyu. The shiny scissors were raised high, and she muttered something incoherent.
Xia Xiaoyu quickly retreated towards the balcony, completely confused herself.
"Must die!"
The Administrator raised the scissors before anyone could react and pushed Xia Xiaoyu onto the balcony.
Xia Xiaoyu looked at the rigid and dazed Administrator with immense fear, her eyes seemingly filled with deep hatred.
"I told you not to meddle!"
The Administrator moved closer, raising the scissors, her lips curling into a sinister smile that was disturbingly wicked. Upon hearing this voice, Xia Xiaoyu was horrified because it had the same accent as that of the Nurse.
"Retribution has come!"
She laughed wickedly and bizarrely, a trace of darkness lingering at the corners of her mouth.
That smile immediately reminded Xia Xiaoyu of the woman in the Portrait, equally sinister and terrifying.
However, just when it seemed like all hope was lost, there was a loud bang at the dormitory door. Before anyone could regain their composure, a blurred figure rushed in like a bolt of lightning, moving impossibly fast.
A pair of hands suddenly grabbed Xia Xiaoyu and, before she could fully comprehend what was happening, a symbol was drawn in the air, and two fingers pointed like swords at the Administrator's forehead.
Since everyone was facing away from them and they were on the balcony, no one could see what was happening. However, Xia Xiaoyu, who was closest to the action, felt herself being pulled aside but heard Zifeng chanting something under his breath.
