In the Dark Grove, sparse moonlight filtered in, creating a scattered glow as two figures slowly walked forward.
Xia Xiaoyu and Zifeng had exited through a small back door. He knew the way, and Xia Xiaoyu shared with him what had happened that day at the Bell Tower.
To Xia Xiaoyu's surprise, Zifeng actually knew the bell master, Mu Yuan.

The night breeze swept through, brushing against her dark hair. Her sleeping face appeared so peaceful and serene.
Zifeng took off his coat and draped it over Xia Xiaoyu. Without changing his expression, he glanced toward the dark corner of the forest.
"Have you been following me all this time? Aren't you going to show yourself?"
