Xia Xiaoyu heard it clearly, but she couldn't pinpoint where the source was. The crying sound came intermittently, faintly echoing from various corners.
She placed her hand on her chest, feeling her heart racing, and tried to calm herself down.

She reassured herself and cautiously approached.
The silence was overwhelming, with not a single extra sound.
As Xia Xiaoyu stepped into the old warehouse, a cold wind rushed towards her.
"Xiaoyu..."
In the corner of the old warehouse, under the faint moonlight, she could see the figure that had entered.
Xiao Xi stood up with tears streaming down her face and threw herself into Xia Xiaoyu's arms, crying uncontrollably.
At that moment, Xia Xiaoyu felt her heart relax. It really was Xiao Xi.
"It's okay, it's okay, don't cry..." Xia Xiaoyu gently stroked Lin Xi's head, trying to comfort her.

Lin Xi clung tightly to Xia Xiaoyu, choking on her words.
